The customer service was gut-wrenchingly awful. Previously, one of my female colleagues had shopped in this store, and had experienced terrible misogynistic behavior from the employees. I myself decided to pay a visit later on, as I was in need of gear that was peddled here. As soon as I set foot in the store however, I was greeted with eyes cold as a January night and a relentless staring gaze from the employee working there. I inquired upon a product, and he replied in a rude, careless manner. I will never set foot in this establishment again, and neither should you, my friend.

Service is awful and attitude is beyond disrespectful. I specifically came to Yelp to find other women treated like shit and that's exactly what I got.

Pricey, but great selection for all things tactical. Not the friendliest staff but given a captive law enforcement customer base, I suppose it's not necessary.

Terrible terrible customer service. Maybe it's because I was a girl? Not sure. But I was treated like shit pretty much.

Extremely rude. Terrible customer service . Would not recommend at all. You'd be better going to a cleaners or doing the job yourself. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

Excellent place for military and police apparel. Wide selection, good inventory, friendly and professional service, prices competitive with online stores. Support local small business!

The service just plain sucks for a place that needs to cater to a very specific demographic. I was blase about my first trip there, and was miffed at my treatment the second time I went.
As an army brat and an old boy scout, I had to do a little sewing (primarily patches or a button replacement), and my father had a neat little sewing kit with braided threads, needles secured in a felt cloth, buttons, and so forth, all in a small wallet-like pouch. It was very handy, and was clearly sold at the Military Clothing and Sales Store at the bases we lived at.
As I described this product (and my father had more than one), the manager told me it must have been something my father had assembled himself, as if I was too stupid to realize what was clearly a purchased item, and whatever it was, he never had anything like it. Now, regardless of whether he had it, I knew it was a product that could be had, and to be told otherwise was pretty insulting.
As I had a little time to kill, I went to another military surplus place, and they knew exactly what I was talking about, but simply said they didn't have it.
Unless you're willing to bow down to the "superior knowledge" of the managerial expertise, I just can't recommend Greene's. The selection is great, I will admit, but I hated the general customer service I had while there.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Michelle H.Moorpark, CA471Jul 31, 2017
Great place for everything tactical and just plain cool awesome fun gear. Every time I'm here in Nashville and have a few minutes to kill, I'm there.

This place is not so much a military place but a public safety supply. If you are in public safety and looking for uniform supplies, boots and any of the common accoutrements you came to the right place. However, if you are a civilian and looking for camo, the latest moisture wicking under gear, knives, lighting, holsters and hardware, this is your place also. Yes they are going through some changes lately but in this economy you should surely support your local small businesses and I will continue to shop with them. I have compared their prices against the internet and I would save a couple of bucks by shopping online but i will gladly sacrifice that for supporting local business, no shipping and walking out with my properly sized product in a bag.
