Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop

This is such cute candy store. They have several locations, but I visited the one in Troy, Ohio. You feel like you are walking back in time. They have a special where you can fill a box with any of their bulk candy for just $5. It is a fun treat especially for kids. They also have a section for old time candy favorites like Razzles, gold mine gum, dots, and the list goes on. What a fun place to visit.

Terrible customer service (girl with green hair) .... We came in with our two kids and my phone was playing a Disney song very quietly I could barely hear it and the worker yelled at us to turn it off. There was only a couple other people in the store. The other customers also found it very rude considering they couldn't even hear the music. We come here very frequently considering we live walking distance. I'm so upset won't be coming back.

I was walking by and decided to stop in to see this new candy store. It has a huge selection of candy and a few other novelty items, such as coffee cups and unique socks.

I bought a pack of Red Vines (my wife's fav candy) and blueberry pomegranate licorice. Nice!

Needless to say - I'll be back!

i havn't been here yet but i seen all the pics and it is looks so cute and i am in love with candy so i hope this is good

So much fun! Dropped in while in town. Will for sure come back. It was just my husband and I. We purchased candy from when we were kids. They had a International candy section and also international snacks-chips,etc. Lots of different sodas but for the win, Cheerwine-which we usually get diet but now they have Cheerwine Zero! Also have lots of novelty items to purchase along with ice cream and a candy case. It was brightly lit and decorated in a cheery manner. Fun experience and I am sure kids would fall in love with the toys and treats alike.

If you're looking for something unique when it comes to candy,soda or socks...this is your place. The $5 candy buffet was a huge hit with the kids. They loved filling their box with all kinds of treats. Definitely worth checking this place out if you're in downtown Troy!
