Go Handyman Services

My family and I moved into a new development in 2013 and soon after settling in I notice a few electrical outlets not working. So since then we've gone without them (kitchen and backyard) but this week I finally made the commitment to get them fixed. I called Go Handyman Services
after a few people recommended him in Solano community awareness page and I couldn't of been happier. He was in and out within an hour. Thank you Casey!

Casey damaged our wall when putting up a small bookcase in the bathroom. He said he didn't have a lot going on the next the day so he could come back after 12 noon but he would call us. The next day noon came and left but no call from him. We called and txt'd him multiple times. He finally called at 5:30 that Fri evening but we were on the phone and asked if we could call him right back, which we did. He wouldn't answer phone but sent a text that he couldn't talk now. We waited till Monday (he didnt try to contact us over the weekend), then called again, no answer but he started txtng us. First he said he got a new phone, then he said he had an emergency as to why he hadnt scheduled coming back to fix our wall. Then he started txting about how much fixing our wall would typically cost plus reminded us to pay our bill. We said we're happy to pay once you fix the wall you damaged. Bottom line we gave up on him and all his excuses. He gave us a small reduction in the price but we would have preferred he fix our wall as he said he would. He's not dependable.

We were so impressed with Kasey. He installed a ceiling fan in only about 35 minutes. He was on time, professional, proficient and friendly. He was also quite easy to schedule with and he sent word when he was en route. We'll definitely hire him again for painting and a few other home repairs

Update: Sadly I am no longer impressed with Go Handyman Services. I scheduled with Kasey for a painting job and he canceled twice. I've texted twice two weeks after he canceled and he never replied. If he can't do the job, fine but ignoring my inquiries is unprofessional.

Cassey quoted me for a relatively large job, over $5 k to fix six spots of dry rot on my house, including hanging 18 ft boards up on second floor home, paint trim or where dry rot was fixed, flashing on roof, fix two gates, put a floor and wheels on my catio, remove outdated wood shutters on front of home to the replace with new modernized framing, paint. Cassey started off good, did a great job fixing 2 dry rot areas. He said the job would only take 3-5 days. I paid him half the first week as I felt he would continue to show up and do the job I hired him for. But he didn't. Then came excuse after excuse why he would be late or promise to come and not show up at all or show up for 2 hrs then disappear and not answer any text until next day saying oh he didn't see his text. He continued this way for an entire month, showing up about 2 x a week for a couple of hours then disappear again. He would say, his kid fell, he ran out of gas, car broke down, got stuck on another job and lost track of time, on and on BS. When he would show up after the first week, he would just power wash or paint my house when I didn't ask for that. He would say, don't worry it's free I'm not charging you. He would leave all his tools scattered around my outside home and I would collect and put it on the side of my house and the constant reminder of him not there really started to annoy me as I felt something is really wrong with this guy and yes, as a nurse I suspected drugs due to this irresponsible behavior. He broke a nice plant pot of mine then backed into my gate that he was suppose to already reinforce it and broke the handle but said, Don't worry I'll fix it but he didn't. He put the broken split piece of wood back up and rigged it up half assed and it doesn't work at all now. He also pulled off part of my shutters to my home and left the rest on and never did nothing more so for over a month my house was left looking dilapidated and I told him, I am embarrassed so can you please finish the job but he just wouldn't do it. Again powering washing my driveway or house and then he painted two small side window framing black and smeared paint on the wall where I couldn't reach it so high to correct it. The new roofers I hired said he had no idea what he was doing as they said he broke some of my title roof shingles walking incorrectly on the roof and all the sloppy flashing he put up had to be removed. Then he had bought two 16 ft fascia boards for the second floor each costing $200 which sat on the side of my house for a month until the new roofers could put up. This when I learned the measurements were off on each fascia board by a foot and no way of returning it. Cassey told me in the beginning he had medical problems so the kind person I am I tried to be patient with him but I finally gave up realizing it was just another lie and the experience he put me through has left me feeling so disappointed and upset as he collected way more money then he earned. I never got what I paid for except a bunch of power washing and half my house painted that my house didn't even need and it was not what I hired him to do. I've learned from my contractor neighbor who watched everything he did and didn't do that he should of never accepted a job he wasn't even qualified such as the roof. I also learned a handyman should ever accept more then $500 per job with materials included as it's against the law. Cassey caused me a lot of grief and tears and I pray no one else ever endures this the way I did. It really makes me sad I had to write this review because I really love giving great reviews but I had no choice.

These guys are awesome, Casey, thank you so much!! Moving from Concord has been extremely stressful and the service you provided, although you made it look easy, meant the world to me It's a breath of fresh air to experience all around "good" people especially in these crazy times were all living in. Thank you for making it easier

Although they couldn't get to my job in the time that I needed because they were fully booked, they took the time to refer me to another reliable handyman who could help me get my job done sooner.

Really can't ask for much better service than that. Much appreciated!!!

Casey went above and beyond to assist with my home repairs. He was responsive, honest, and very personable. A very clear estimate was provided with the breakdown of services and supply costs, so everything was transparent from the get go which was fantastic. GO Handyman Services will be my future go-to for all handyman/maintenance needs.

My daughter referred Casey to me after he worked on a project for her that she was very satisfied with.

Casey was great! He was patient and understanding when I had to reschedule due to a delay in shipping my items. He was punctual, courteous, thorough and intentional receiving my approval. He didn't take all day and he cleaned up after himself. I will refer him to others.

Hello, I don't do many reviews, but Casey did such a horrible job at my house I needed to say something. He came recommended from a real estate agent that turned out to be absolutely mad.
Casey and I looked through the house together and he came back alone to do the work. This man did absolutely nothing that we talked about. Even the work he was supposed to do was so embarrassing our renters actually put his new work on their move-in problems. The kitchen island he did is so embarrassing also. Our outside rail he was supposed to fix it was so bad, but he was supposed to fix it. Somehow that was lost too. When I called him about it, this creep was going to charge me $50 for a quote! Hello, you were supposed to fix it as the #1 project weirdo. Be careful when a realtor bosses around a handyman

Casey was great! He installed a new kitchen faucet and three ceiling fans in our home today. He worked quickly and did a good job. The ceiling fans are quiet and do not wobble. The kitchen faucet works perfectly, no leaking under or above. Casey is friendly and professional. He even lent my dad a tool while my dad and installed my new dishwasher. We will definitely use his services again should we need them in the future.
