I great little family owned business. I love this place, it's well known with the locals & we love it, run in served a nice size glass of wine (great selections) also by bottle.
Pizza orders were backed up on the busy weekend night we were there. We wanted pizza due to all of to go orders we were told at least 50 minute wait. We opted for pasta, I had shrimp scampi, served with veggies, BF had spaghetti & meatballs! So much we both took boxes home. Our server was fabulous.
We highly recommend Giovanni's!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Leonard V.The Villages, FL012Nov 11, 2023
This restaurant is permanently closed.
The owner has opened a restaurant called Gio's on Route 301 a little bit north of CR 466 near the US Post office.
I won't miss it because it was always too cold in there. However the food was good.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - EC N.Albuquerque, NM141447Jan 30, 2023
First off you got to love the Rogue Gallery: of pot heads, class clowns, and delinquents working behind the line. These guys always put out the best food. Food was fresh and delicious. Great value for the price. Look forward to trying out the pizzas and pastas.
Worth a visit.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Michelle G.Sacramento, CA1572Feb 9, 2023
Wow, ate there tonight. our salads came out in 30 min for some of us at the table. Another 10 minutes the rest of us. Repeat for our food which were all the same items. Kitchen seems to have major problems but the wait staff was great, doing the best they could under the circumstances.

Giovanni's is a small Italian restaurant in a strip mall in The Villages near Publix. The service is friendly and they have a large menu. I had the scampi with angel hair pasta. It had nice flavor. Unfortunately, the shrimp were over cooked and hard and the vegetables were over boiled or steamed . Almost no color left. I opted to skip the veggies, but I enjoyed the pasta even with the overcooked shrimp. I ordered a cannoli and the filling didn't have much flavor. I'm sure they have some great tasting options on the menu because the restaurant was busy with regulars who seemed to enjoy the food and staff. Not my favorite Italian restaurant, but you can't really go wrong with Italian.

Did not go here in person but was at an event that they catered. Menu was garlic knots, salad, lasagna and chicken Marsala. The lasagna hit it out of the park! Super cheesy with a great sauce. Was so good I brought a piece home to my husband who LOVES lasagna. Even reheated in the microwave it was 5 stars! Now want to go to the restaurant in person!

Poor quality. After sitting in fridge for a day, after warming it up in the toaster oven it tastes like cardboard.
