Based in Chicago, Giordano's Famous Stuffed Pizza has been serving its world-famous pizza since 1974, when founders and immigrants brothers Efren and Joseph Boglio became discouraged by the lack of authentic pizza available in the Chicago area. Becoming one of the originators of what is now internationally known as Chicago-style stuffed pizza, Giordano's has 44 locations and is also available for shipping anywhere in the continental United States by visiting our website. Giordano's has been acclaimed "Chicago's best pizza" by NBC, CBS Chicago, New York Times, Chicago Magazine, Chicago Tribune, Chicago Eater, Home & Garden Magazine, Concierge Preferred, Huffington Post and Chicago Social Magazine. We've also been featured on Good Morning America, Windy City Live and the Today Show among others.

My first time going to this restaurant. My husband and I ordered a thin crust and a pan pizza, both pepperoni. The flavor was delicious and the sauce had a little bit of sweetness to it (which I enjoyed). I thought the pan would be more bread but it was more cheese. If you like a lot of cheese, then you would love it!
The day we went I had foot surgery and the staff was very accommodating to get us a table where I could prop up my foot.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - David C.Woburn, MA38381May 5, 2024
Ordered a margherita pizza, garlic bread, and tiramisu.
1. The pizza had perfect texture, but was lacking flavor, was just kind of bland. Pretty average.
2. The garlic bread was soggy, no crunch or crispiness.
3. The tiramisu whipped cream was completely melted and the tiramisu itself was very average in taste, I've bought way better from the supermarket.
Additionally, ordered delivery via Uber Eats, and asked that plates and napkins be provided in the order as well.
They were not, overall poor experience, wouldn't order from them again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 24, 2024
Of course, if you're in Chicago you HAVE to get Chicago style pizza, which means pounds and pounds of cheese, meats and veggies layered n a crust of crisp-tender perfection.
I started with the Calamari & More ~ Tender calamari tossed with lemon rings and banana peppers, lightly fried and served with our house-made marinara sauce. The deep dish pizza takes about 45 minutes to bake, so I thought I needed something to do while I waited. This was absolutely the most tender calamari I've ever eaten. Perfectly fried. And while I loved the fried banana peppers, the fried lemon rings were a little much. The bitter/tart combination just didn't do it for me. But still, some of the best calamari I've ever had.
For my pizza, I ordered the Special ~ sausage, mushrooms, green pepper, and onion. Oh. Emm. Gee. This was incredible. Now, I'll confess, ordering the calamari to "bide my time" was a mistake. I could only finish two small slices of the pizza. But holy cow. This was SO GOOD! The best pizza I've ever had. So thick and luscious and just absolutely packed with fillings. The cheese just OOZES as you work your way through a slice, and the crust is both crispy and chewy and just holds everything together perfectly. I CANNOT recommend this place enough!
I headed back to O'Hare with a pizza box and brought home what felt like 5 pounds of pizza.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 122202514Apr 28, 2024
Lunch w rose is fun! Deep dish is thick and fluffy (bit of a wait, but surely tasty), the lunch special w spaghetti and meat sauce is the perfect amount for a lunch

Ok, so I gave this place 2 stars, one mainly because they offered gluten-free pizza! That is worth two stars itself. But also, I am from the NJ/NY area, and I had to try Chicago-style pizza. I wanted to come in as unbiased as possible. I can in as if these were two completely different styles; to me, good food is good food.
First of all, 3 pizzas that cost almost $100 is crazy! But the pizzas that are worth $100, I could swallow, but it was so mediocre that I was so mad that I paid that much. Pizza is pizza to children, and even their taste buds were like no thanks. My son, who is 6, enjoyed his pizza because he is at the point where, if it's gluten-free, I can't be picky. I know this because usually a personal pizza he finishes, but he had half the pie left.
I would have loved to enjoy the ambiance of this pizza place, maybe if I would have eatten there and if it was hot and fresh, maybe it would be better, but even the taste was subpar.
I ordered two thin crust and one pan style, so to be fair, I didn't try the deep dish, so I added an additional star. Maybe the deep dish is the star, but from the two styles we tasted, I am not sure....
We ordered in, so the service from the delivery driver and the representative that I called to ask questions was very kind.
The one thing I must say is, please, for future purposes, label your boxes gluten-free. I couldn't tell the difference because I ordered two thin crusts, half pepperoni half cheese. I had to call and ask, and the employee had to describe the crust. They looked wayyyy too similar for my liking. (So then, I had to minus a point. Man... I really wanted to like it!
To add insult to injury, the locals (employees) at the hotel saw that I was trying pizza from chicago and stated that they don't order there because it's too expensive and if I did order from there, I should do another Giordanos location because the flavor is better then the place I ordered. (This is before we ate). Smh!!! Well... until next time. Chicago residents chime in!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Aug 5, 2019Previous reviewGreat tasting pizza! The pizza is made fresh to order. Be prepared to wait 25 min for thin crust and 45 minutes for deep dish. Just know its worth the wait.
Some of the things we ordered were the chicken wings (Nashville hot). My husband lived them. My 3 yr old daughter even couldn't stop eating them. We warned her it was spicy and then it hit her at the end. ..she want happy lol! I ordered the calamari and it was delicious. Very different. They didn't only fry the calamari but it also had fried lemons which was a nice spin and fried onions.
Our pizza was delicious we all ordered thin crust. My margherita pizza was fresh. My girls loved their thin crust cheese pizza! My husband was happy because our family doesn't eat pork and the had chicken sausage. Also, he loved the jardinera peppers. But most of all, THEY HAVE GLUTEN FREE PIZZA, for my baby boy. Giordano's for the win!
We sat outside being that it was a nice night and we are Miami folk! It seems like everyone in IL has their air on 30 degrees. What was cool though was, you watched all the planes fly over you in the gazebo setting. The restaurant is close to the airport.
The service was great! Our waitress was knowledgable about the menu and gave great suggestions. Customer service amazing. Wish I knew her name. I'm bad at that. ..she helped us with things to do in Chicago. Although this restaurant is in Rosemont, about maybe 30 to 40 min outside of the city.
Great experience all around! - Jan 28, 2024
This is the fourth different pizza place I have tried that is famous for their deep dish pizza and Giordano's is far and away the best I've had and I have had a couple of really good pies elsewhere.
I went with my daughter who needed to try deep dish on her first trip to Chicago. She loved it. If she had a direct flight home to California tomorrow she probably would have taken one home with her!
We started with the cheesy garlic bread and then dug into a small Meat & More Meat. It has sausage, pepperoni, salami, and bacon. DELICIOUS. A small is supposed to feed 2-3 people with 6 slices. We had 3 full slices left over. Not because it wasn't good but because it was so much food. They have some great looking desserts but that wasn't even a consideration tonight.
There are a couple of other places I want to try but I'm totally satisfied if Giordano's is my go to from now on.Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 3Oh no 0 - Mar 25, 20242 check-ins
Unfortunately this was not a pleasant visit. The waitress I thought was nice but that is where it ended. My individual pizza took an hour to get to my table and when I arrived it was about 4:45pm. It got really busy after 5:30pm but still no pizza. My pizza arrived about 5:55pm and I honestly think it was forgotten as the crust was just cardboard gross and almost burnt tasting, weird cause it was cold too. The bottom of the pizza was kinda soupy. It was strange cause several customers who came after me got their food before I did and this included deep dish pizzas. It kinda put me off. I had high hopes but I would ohavebeen better off getting a pizza from Pizza Hut. Aside from all that the location is large and it is clean so I will give them that.

First time having chicago deep dish pizza, and glad we came to giordano's! This place was very packed on a weekend afternoon, but we didn't have to wait for a table of 6.
There are a ton of toppings to choose from, but we opted for a regular personal sized pizza to keep it simple. It was so yummy and chewy, and the sauce was delicious.
It was pretty loud inside, but it was busy too. Plenty of parking right outside too. Will come back and try different types of toppings next time!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jeannette T.Chicago, IL72136134Apr 28, 20241 check-in
I mean how can you go wrong with pizza? And it was 50% off on pizza on Tuesdays now through mid may 2024. The skillet cookie was delicious! Only reason I gave a four instead of a five was the service was okay. We got one refill on our drinks but we waited a while for the refill. But overall everything was delicious and great.

The service was good, the food was great (as per Giordano's longstanding reputation), and the restaurant was nicely decorated as well.
The house salad with the most delicious house dressing I've ever had! I asked if they sell it but they don't! The Italian beef - dipped w/hot gardiera & sweet peppers is a must have!
It was a variety of NFL games being played which was fantastic for the hubs!Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
