My husband and I visited this gallery last weekend with another couple and had a terrible interaction with the woman working, Bonnie Nadel.
She did not acknowledge us when we entered but my husband said hello as he's very friendly and always looking to socialize. My husband started asking Bonnie about the art where she proceeded to tell us we can't ask questions if we can't afford to purchase it...
We were so taken aback that we didn't really respond at first, which Bonnie then took the chance to say, "no really, why would you ask if you can't afford it???"

We all were shocked by this and kept walking into the gallery, where we all quickly decided to turn around and leave. As we left, I went up to Bonnie and told her she needs to work on her customer service, which she then rudely responded by saying "thank you" and a smirk. I said this in front of an older couple she was talking with.

Bonnie is a pretentious, racist woman who thinks she can make judgments on people's financial status based on their skin color.

I hope Bonnie Nadel never makes another person feel the way she made my husband feel but based on other reviews about Bonnie being racist, I have a feeling it will continue.

      Please take your business elsewhere.

I am amazed by all the art galleries in Downtown Carmel. (In San Jose, we have very few of them scattered around the city.) I loved the vibe in Galerie Rue Toulouse and I loved the curated art that was on display.

I just had a very casual look around, but even then there were a few pieces that really stuck with me. I hope these art pieces are purchased by someone who will appreciate them a lot because you can tell how much effort was put into every painting!

Have a look around and take in this artistic talent!

      Admirable art gallery!

Good spot to drop in and peruse thoroughly!

Expensive taste of art to be adorned all around when here!

Who doesn't love Royal Street in the French Quarter? If you have the means, you must visit!!! Impeccable service. Beautiful art. Involved management. A+.

Rob, the gallery director, was incredibly fun and pleasant to work with. He gave us a great tour of the gallery and knew a bunch about the artists. He gave us his full attention & was interested in our stories and interests, long before he knew were interested in buying a piece. Didn't pressure us at all & just wanted to make sure we left happy.

The bald guy working today was a complete prick. My wife was walking through admiring the art when she had commented on an artist, the bald guy working eavesdropping made a rude remark about her comment. My suggestion bald guy is to think before you speak and not eavesdrop.
We were amazed what an ass he made of himself.

We were drawn in by the Audrey Hepburn paintings. This is a beautiful quaint gallery with very interesting amazing art from French artists. A must stop when you are in the area.

I love art! I absolutely love it!

A mini vacation should be relaxed and be around the lil colorful things. Like this town. There are flowers everywhere! I'm so in love with this place.

Then we came across this gallery. Drawing, sketching, painting, mixing the color right!

I saw a few that the artist used just crayons! That was pretty crazy because you wouldn't have noticed it was crayons unless you look close (or maybe just me bc I'm kind of blind).

P.S. picture taken is not allowed inside.

Picture's not allowed inside, but I guess the outside will be ok?

Beautiful art work. Come here you'll definitely enjoy this refreshing gallery.

This place holds original works of art from a wide variety of French artists.

Apparently this place is the sister gallery to the Galerie Rue Royal also on Ocean Avenue which I did not get to see.

Good place to swing by on your vacation if you're strolling downtown on Ocean Avenue!
