A definite place for beer and burgers! Great staff and it's no longer cash only. You can pay via an app when you're at the restaurant.

Casual and relaxing, a good place to have a beer and bar food with friends or just on your own at the bar!

My friend recommended this place as we were looking for local dive bars. I have never heard of this place and did not know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. Immediately when we walked in we were greeted and given menus from the bartender. He took our orders and was very attentive. I stopped there during the winter, and ordered a mango beer and pretended I was in warmer weather.

We ordered fried pickles and cheese curds for apps. For starters, GET THE PICKLES. The do it right - cannot go wrong with pickle spears. The curds were pretty good, but I have had better - they seem like the frozen type. I ordered the Big Mac inspired burger and it was delicious. They did not skip on the sauce. I like a little extra sauce, but if you don't you may want to ask for that on the side.

There is a unisex bathroom on the main floor and additional bathrooms in the basement. All in all, a very great experience. I will bring my sister here when she visits from Madison. She loves a good dive bar. This is one of the better ones - quality food at a pretty decent price.

Sandy's is amazing! I lived in Richfield for two years and never went there. Now I travel from St. Paul to delight in the decadent burgers. It's a dive and no liquor, just beer and wine. Such a great neighborhood place! Kevin makes everyone feel like part of the family. They have many good burgers, the Sandy Signature is great, I sure love the Olive burger as well. But the granddaddy is the Mac Daddy, their version of the Big Mac. Really good potato bun and amazingly fresh ingredients.They do really karaoke and bingo as well. They also have a nice patio. They have great burgers here. They always have a cool little special going on. The gentleman that always serves us is super friendly. Just like everywhere else in Minneapolis, I hate the canned drink, but I understand that's the nature of the area. Top burger for sure out of all the ones I've had in Minneapolis.

Small menu, done right. You come and stay for the burgers. This tavern was filled with families, elderly couples who know they've been making burgers right for decades, and "good old boys" of all ages sitting at the bar. The bartender was extremely engaging with some small town style stories. There's a star wars pinball machine as well as some fun pop culture memorabilia throughout. ATM and vending machine pull tabs available.

Burger was delicious, fries were great after I added a little salt- and spicy ketchup! Classic sodas (root beer on tap!), beer,and wine (mead too!) available. I will definitely be back. My favorite classic style burger in the cities.

FYI It is an old house with old AC. It isn't a very cold reprieve on a hot day.

Vegan/Vegetarian note: I was told the fries are vegan with their own fryer, but their impossible burgers are made on the same griddle as beef patties.

Love their burgers... get the olive burger. For me, this place and Matt's are the best burgers in town. Simple and good, and cheap! Awesome!!

A fun local spot for some simple, but good bar food! Great prices, friendly service, and very casual atmosphere.

I tried the California burger, which was pretty good but thoroughly doused in Mayo. Next time I'll order it without, but that may just be a personal preference.

Good solid fried food and burgers. Dive bar, but in all the good ways. Hugjy reicmmend as long as you know what it is.

Prices beyond fair.

If you want a delicious, greasy, simple burger, this is the spot! Good prices, funny and helpful bartenders and servers, and a simple vibe. Everything is a la carte so no sides with the burgers but them and the sides are cheap enough that it doesn't matter.

They always have good parking with a lot connected, outdoor seating when it's nice out, and plenty of indoor seating.

The atmosphere is kind of old times, kind of no frills, usually with some eclectic or punk rock music playing depending on who is working.

Awesome place for a quick lunch- food comes in about 7 minutes and is always fresh and hot. We got a double specialty burger, a single cheeseburger, a half order of onion rings, a half order of fries, a couple sides of sauces, and a soda and it was $38. Not bad at all for that much yummy food!

Great local dive bar. Service and food were outstanding. Nice folks at the bar to chat with if that's your thing. Prices were fair. Highly recommend.
