Friends is a family owned and run restaurant, located across Dupont Road from the new Walmart, behind the Marathon gas station. Their website is: www.friendsrestaurants.com .
Their waitresses (their servers are all women...no guys!) are very nice and helpful. I've met the owners, Nick (originally from Greece) and his wife [don't remember her name], and they, too, are very nice. They recently had to raise their prices due to food prices going up, and they were very apologetic and were hoping people would understand and keep coming. Their prices are still reasonable, and you get plenty of food for your money. They also own "Friends, Too", located near the Jefferson Point shopping center. (3720 W. Jefferson Blvd.)
Their food is American & Greek food. You can get a Gyro Platter that has a huge pile of gyro meat, onions, tomatoes, and feta cheese on a pita bread along with fries and another side. (Ask for the tzatziki sauce on the side, so it's less messy to eat!)
I also like breakfasts here...I usually get the $4.99 "Friends Breakfast Special" (available 6am - 11am weekdays only) two eggs (cooked any way you like) with homefries, toast or two hotcakes, and coffee. Their coffee is the "Cadillac" brand...very tasty. Their creamers are the "International Delight" in the small cups, and they have the Hazelnut, Chocolate Cream, and French Vanilla flavors available. (Naturally, my choice is the Chocolate Cream!)
Their dinners are also excellent. My favorite is the "Socrate's Braized Beef on rice (or noodles or mashed potatoes). It's supposed to be a Greek dish. It's in a tomato based sauce served over rice, noodles or mashed potatoes. I've also tried the stuffed green pepper. It's very good. They also offer spanakopita (a spinach, feta cheese, onions in pastry dish that's Greek), and dolmades (grape leaves stuffed with meat & rice). These I haven't tried here, yet. Their green beans side dish is a Greek style, and tastes slightly vinegary, and NICE! They have lots of other choices, both American style and Greek style.
I think they may have free WiFi, but I actually got on their next door neighbor's ("5th Element Salon") WiFi. It didn't need a password.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 491057100Oct 7, 2011
Enjoyed this local restaurant in a small strip. $12 for 2 people at lunch. Had to try their gyro sandwich which was delicious. Would return again.

My family and I get carry out here time to time and it is very good. We also dine in from time to time. The staff is always friendly. The food made hot to order. Try anything of the Greek variety. It's there specialty.

Great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The portions are usually fairly large and the food is fresh and delicious. The staff is always kind and friendly. This small restaurant is one of my favorite places to eat. Everything one thing menu is amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Our family loves Friends! The owners are very personable and often greet you at the door or your table. The menu is pretty big. Breakfast is always a hit! We often frequent for lunch. The salads and Greek soups are good. The kids love the wraps. The Greek food is pretty good too!

Friendly (as the name implies), relaxed and with a good variety of options.
Really like the lemon soup, as good as I've had in Greece.
Nothing bad to say about it. It's really more Greek than American, in my opinion.
I was sad to see that they stopped selling taramasalata, I guess the FW audience just isn't ready for it.
Reasonably priced, decent food. A little different than your average fare.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Thomas R.Beech Grove, IN331Nov 5, 2015
This is by far the best Greek food that I have tasted in a very long time. The service was quick for lunch and the price is right in line. It would be difficult not to over eat here. Go you won't be disappointed.

This place has the best Greek gyros in town. The three times I have been here, the food has been awesome! Good pricing and portions as well. The meats were well spiced and cooked perfectly. Highly recommended for lunch.

This place is excellent for Greek food. I frequent this place often. I usually get the gyros and fries. The fries are fantastic! The service is always prompt and friendly. I also get the Niko's skillet which is a must get if you are looking to get breakfast, I always get a side tzakiki sauce to put on it. If you want great Greek food and a friendly place to eat, Friends is your place.
