Went there to play pickle ball. People show up around 8:30 am. Safe friendly place, plenty of places to park. Close bathrooms.

Great park. I go there mainly for the Pickleball courts which are in great shape. Lights turn off at 10pm sharp.

Whether you've just moved to the Palm Desert area or you're just visiting, if you're looking for a cool urban park with lots of amenities, check this place out.
What we loved: Great sidewalk or grass walking areas. FREE brand new pickleball courts -- 8 total with really friendly players who welcome new players with open arms.
Great central location in Palm Desert - easy commute from La Quinta, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells or Palm Springs.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Penny C.Fullerton, CA0292Jan 5, 2023
Beautiful huge park. Pickle ball courts super busy. Several play areas and apparatus for children. Shaded area with picnic table so pack your lunch

For those who are traveling with their dogs, this quaint park is a perfect spot to stop by. I've only gone twice on my way and back from SD to AZ, and both times have been rarely seen people but the park feels safe, clean and lots pf space to walk around and a football field size to run around. Plenty of stretching legs and some walking during road trip is essential and keep your driving safer and more enjoyable!

This park has been my go-to, ever since I moved to the area. The park is clean and there has been some upgrades through the past year. They have just updated the pickleball court (It's not a tennis court! the closest tennis court I'm aware of is the one in Civic Center Park or Bermuda Dunes airport but i'm not sure if its open to the public) and also have added a bunch of new tables by the restrooms.
I have my two docile pitties that I do walk leashed, and occasionally you'll get the "karens" with their small dogs coming up to me barking, while off leash, that don't even have great recall so that can be annoying cus they blame me for their dog barking?? -__-
Other than that, nice park to go to! lolHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Suzanne V.Newport Beach, CA20315Dec 13, 2021
Great park for my toddler grandson!! We play at the park and then hit the soccer field across the parking lot to practice kicking his soccer ball, paddle ball and running!! So fun!!

Says on their website there is a skate park. Visiting from out of town and when we got there a local
told us it was taken out/filled in. Really disappointed that we drove 25 minutes for kids to not be able to skate. It's a nice park otherwise for other activities. Please update your website!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Renee R.El Centro, CA02219Jan 11, 2021
If you're gonna bring your dog MAKE SURE YOU LEASH HIM/HER FIRST BEFORE ENTERING THE DOG PARK.
You can't JUST OPEN THE DOOR and let your dog run loose YET. Common curtesy is out the window.
Your dog or someone's dog could get hurt.
Of course once they smell each other then of course do your thing.
Someone from the city should be watching because I just dealt with some ignorant ass people.
"Is there gonna be a problem?" YES THERE IS LEASH UP YOUR DAMM DOG.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
