Coffee is ones of the best tasting in town. Love their lavender honey latte.

All the baristas are super friendly.

Very cozy ambiance. There were no seatings available inside so we sat outside and enjoyed the old downtown Plano vibe

Super cute hang. The vibe is on. Welcoming and friendly. Plenty of seating inside and out. Gender neutral restrooms. Good location. Even Parking right out front.

I have been a few times. They boast craft coffee but don't say which roaster provides their beans.

I like their lavender latte, and prefer hot over iced. TBH it's too sweet and syrupy. But it's an interesting variation on the lavender.

I like hanging here. And I will continue to come.

I am editing my review I posted yesterday after the business commented they roast their own coffee. That is a very impressive operation and I compliment the whole staff.

Cozy, great service, cool atmosphere, and the tea/smoothie was solid.

Came in here when things were cold outside (38 degrees) and stepped in for some hot tea. Wife had a knee injury and we needed some place to sit. Despite being quite busy, we managed to find a pair of seats together and enjoy our drinks while taking in the environment.

Service was hospitable and friendly. Not to mention, very quick. They made Starbucks looks slow!

If I'm in Downtown Plano and looking for tea or a smoothie a nice pit stop, I'll definitely come here again. Wish I could eat their sweets!

1418 is the the pinnacle of coffee shops!
My now fiancé brought me here for our second date when we started seeing each other. From my first visit to the last, I have felt so welcomed and served! The baristas have always been so friendly and kind! They take time to let me ask questions, hear my preferences, and offer recommendations. Last Friday (12/29), when I came to finish a book that I was reading, I asked about the winter seasonal drinks and the baristas suggested the Brown Butter Sage Latte. They both raved about it and one of them said it was their favorite drink. I decided to try it and it was truly delightful, like a cup of Christmas joy! It should be the signature drink of 1418.

What amazes me is the camaraderie and dynamic of everyone who works there! They are a friends that are also teammates and are doing great things in their business. I'm glad to always have a great experience every time I go and very grateful that my fiancé decided to take me to one of her favorite coffee shop!

Holy hell! This place is such a gem! How did I not know of this?! Right down the street from where I get my hair done and decided to just check it out. The menu is insane. Starbucks who??? Great coffee house ambiance and staff are so so nice! I recommend their latte...literally any latte. Definitely go here and drink local!

Whenever I travel, I'm always trying to visit local coffee shops. This one is in downtown Plano and was a gem to find.

First off, the vibe is great. Chill yet with energy. I was only picking up to go on a Sunday morning but there was already a hood crowd inside.

Second, the coffee was delicious. Lavender latte did not disappoint! I can see why it is a crowd favorite. My mom also had the drip coffee and loved it. She's the first to comment if something is not good and not a peep on this from her.

The staff was friendly and helpful even while fielding an already busy Sunday morning.

We grabbed some breakfast items to go and all were good (ie croissants, fruit tart, muffins). They also had a few GF things too.

The also serve Emporium Pies! I don't live in the area but know about these pies. If we weren't traveling this day, I definitely would have picked one up.

Bottom line: great coffee, food and service!

Note: street parking might be hard to find pending time of day but there's a parking garage nearby.

Points for variety - lots of drinks and food to choose from, ranging from coffee and tea to sandwiches and pastries. I wish I could try everything! The food looked good but I didn't order any myself this time.

I ordered the blackberry matcha latte (seasonal spring drink), which I thought was a cool combination I haven't seen before! Unfortunately, the matcha was not strong at all, so I'll have to subtract a star based on the one item I ordered. The blackberry flavor was good, but I think a stronger matcha flavor would have balanced the sweetness from the blackberry a lot better. However, I'd be happy to come back and give another type of drink a try.

Additionally, when I went, there was no seating left, so be aware that you may have to take things to go.

Absolutely LOVED it here. The coffee is strong and the space is dope! The lemon blueberry scone is fan-flipping-tastic!! I ordered a caramel iced coffee and was bouncing off the walls the rest of the day lol. This is the spot for a group meeting and/or coworking session (that is, if you get here before the rush, it can fill up pretty quickly). Plenty of couches/soft chairs/table spaces to utilize. It's located right at the center of Historic downtown Plano. Can't wait to come back!

1418 is a nice, cozy coffee house in downtown Plano! It is the perfect spot to grab a cup of coffee and to curl up with a good book. The seating is some of the most comfortable I have seen compared to some of the other coffee shops in the area. The staff is always welcoming and friendly, and they also offer great suggestions when your indecisive about what to order.

If you are in the mood for more than a drink, they also offer delicious sandwiches and other goodies to fill your rumbling tummy! There is ample seating, so if you'd like to meet up with a group that will work as well! There is something for everyone tucked away in this little gem located in a beautiful little corner of Plano!
