How do I love a great steakhouse, let me count the ways! I'm sure glad that Maryland restaurants didn't shut back down because of Covid until after my birthday.. Whewwww!!
Flemings has been on my list for years and now it will be on my "go to" list for years to come!
What a delightful dining experience. The service was high end, the atmosphere was high end and the food was absolutely high end. We both ordered the crab topped filets and the consensus was, 5 STARS! The side dishes and the MANY Manhattans were just as goooood!! :)
If you want a fine dining experience while in downtown Baltimore, please come to Flemings, you will be glad that you did!!!Helpful 48Thanks 0Love this 40Oh no 0 - Apr 16, 2020
While in quarantine, my amazing partner and I decided to celebrate Easter with a steak & lobster dinner. Fleming's was first on our list, because we'd never dined there before... (And after our meal, I wished I had dined there sooner .) UberEats came rolling through with our 3-course steak dinner, and I was in complete amazement.
Everything, absolutely everything, was delicious! I even asked for horseradish sauce (because we're obsessed with that stuff lol) and they supplied more than enough. The lobster was buttery and perfectly seasoned. The steak was at a perfect temperature for us and their signature salad was fresh and vibrant. Perfect combination with the rich meaty steak!
When COVID-19 stops stealing our joy and loved ones, I can't wait to visit this restaurant in person! Absolutely delicious, thank you!Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Sep 23, 2020
Visited Fleming's during the week to grab a quick bite with a friend to celebrate a birthday.
Neither one of us eat steak so this may not have been the best choice, but we had a good time.
Our waiter AJ was phenomenal, attentive, and humorous.
We had:
*Calamari which was delicious
*Lobster Mac and cheese which didn't leave me wanting more but it was decent
*Lobster bisque which was good, I expected it to be rich in taste since we were at a place like Fleming's but it simply wasn't
I wish there was more seafood or vegetarian dishes at this restaurant.
Still, good evening.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Nov 8, 2019
You can always count on a solid meal at Fleming's. This is not your local steakhouse but rather is part of the Outback Steakhouse family of restaurant chains. You wouldn't really know that, though, as the interior is many steps above Outback and has a very upscale and plus feeling.
Reservations are accepted, and we were seated within a few minutes of our reservation time. Staff were quite friendly, and the server seemed very knowledgeable about the different cuts of meat available on the menu.
I tried the blueberry lemon drop cocktail. Strong, flavorful, and simply yet elegantly presented. I then tried the Caesar salad. It isn't prepared tableside, but it was quite delicious with classic Caesar dressing and not the creamy dressing you sometimes get which is not a true Caesar dressing. Lastly, the petit filet. Simply presented but delicious and tender and quite akin to what you would expect at a high-end steakhouse. Sides are all a la carte here, and I apologize for forgetting exactly which ones we got. Everyone was in a hurry, so no time for dessert. .
They have a rewards program that includes Fleming's, Carrabba's, and other restaurants in their family but honestly it isn't that good. You visit three times in six months and get 50% off your next visit, but the discount is capped at $20 (or $40 for Fleming's).
If you are in the mood for steak in an upscale setting Fleming's is definitely worth a visit.Helpful 14Thanks 0Love this 11Oh no 0 - Sep 1, 2020
Was never a huge steak fan till early this year. But this is the second steak place I have been to. And the meat just melts in your mouth. Little pricey but very very good. All the sides are amazing. If you love steak then this is one of many places I would say to check out.

I am only writing this review because of the excellent customer service that I received from this chain restaurant!
We arrived about 10 minutes late for our 9pm reservation due to parking and were seated almost immediately upon arrival!
Our waitress - (I don't remember her name) greeted us right away and was also very knowledgeable of the menu. I usually order fish whenever I dine out and I was tied between the Chilean Sea Bass (with red onion and arugula) and Salmon (with mushrooms). She assured me that the Sea Bass was delicious (and it was) but I really regret not getting the Salmon. We ordered the Lobster Mac, and Mashed Potatoes for sides since both of our entrees already came with veggies.
It did not take long to receive our food. Fleming's definitely has the best Lobster Mac I have ever tasted! Everything was hot & delicious! My Sea Bass was cooked to perfection! However the best service we received came after we finished dinner.
We were celebrating my birthday so the restaurant gave me a card and chocolate truffles as a gift! To top it all off they had one of their associates come take my picture and frame it for me! (This all happened after the restaurant closed for the night -- a little after 10pm.)
I only wish they had outdoor seating.
I can't wait to return! Definitely going to try the salmon next time.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Sep 3, 2017
Difficult review; one steak (14 oz ribeye ) was great. It was hot, juicy and cooked to perfection. The other, 12 oz filet was over cooked, barely warm and dry. Interestingly, the filet was ordered medium but cooked much more than the medium well ribeye. They comped us the filet, without asking, so excellent recovery but my girlfriend didn't enjoy it at all.
Our waiter Nick was very good. He suggested lobster mac n cheese and it was a home run. The creme brûlée was also excellent as was the bread and house spreads. Had the filet been better we'd have had a great 5 star dining experience !Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 17, 2016
This review is based on one visit. I was staying next door at the Marriott Waterfront hotel and thought that it would be great to eat steak and not have to drive anywhere. I approached the front desk hoping that there would be an available table despite not having a reservation. They didn't sweat it and had a table for me and my button-down short sleeve shirt. When I was seated I was glad to see that I was not the only one without a coat and tie!
I was greeted by Nicholas and he described the specials and handed me a tablet with the wine, beer and cocktail selections. This app even featured pairings. Fresh bread was brought to the table with two different types of butters. I decided on the dry-aged ribeye steak cooked medium, encrusted with peppercorns. I also ordered the Crispy Brussels Sprouts and truffle-parsley mashed potatoes. It took a while for the food to come out it I was pleased when it did. The steak was cook near perfectly and the steak and the sides were amazing.
Nicholas was attentive and helpful while providing excellent service. The place was elegant and classy, the food was great and the service was excellent. The prices were high but my employer picked up the tab. I would recommend anyone who loves steak and has never been to Fleming's to give it a try! Five stars!Helpful 15Thanks 0Love this 15Oh no 0 - 1982911110Dec 24, 2016
This was my first time dining at Fleming's. I was not disappointed.
I have quite a few reviews to catch up on so this won't be super long..
My faves.. Truffle mashed potatoes .. simply divine. They were rich and creamy and perfect..
The roasted asparagus were super yummy! They were perfectly cooked and seasoned
The crab cake appetizer and lobster tempura small plate both had really good flavor.
I had the Chilean Sea bass and it was ok.. the sauce was a tad sweeter than I would have preferred. Not terrible but not delicious.
My mom ordered the bone in rib eye and it was good but needed a bit of salt . After that minor addition you could really taste the flavors.
Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. The managerial staff made it a point to stop past the tables to ensue things were running smoothly.
The one thing that initially rubbed us the wrong way is when we arrived, they attempted to seat us wayyy in the back dining room (passing tons of empty tables on the way back). After mentioning we wanted to have our seats moved, we were asked to wait about 5-10 minutes while they waited for a table to be available (again there were tons empty). But we only waited about 5 minutes. Not a great biggie.
Rather expensive meal but it was to be expected. It was a nice teestHelpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Dec 14, 2018
We visited this lovely place 2 yrs ago for Restaurant Week and loved the atmosphere and so we just had to come back for our anniversary.
We had a reservation, and found the place to be packed and very loud. I was looking forward to a quiet evening. We were seated somewhere in the middle of the restaurant near a bunch of huge parties, it was quite hard to hear our server, Michael and ourselves. It was nice to receive acknowledgments from the staff and the manager about our anniversary, also he took a nice photo of us to commemorate the occasion.
We ordered the Tomahawk special and added seafood with it. It was cooked to perfection but extra fatty. Was not happy that the main dish's sides were not served at the same time ad the meat.
Dessert was very good, would have liked the creme brulee hot or at least warm. Drinks were spot on. The little incentives of truffles were very touching. We will be back but hopefully when it is more quiet.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
