Five Guys

I recently visited the Five Guys in Santa Cruz and was quite disappointed with my experience. While I used to love their Cajun fries, they are no longer as yummy as they used to be. Additionally, the location was quiet but unfortunately quite dirty. The biggest issue, however, was the slow customer service. It took quite a while for my order to be taken and prepared, which was frustrating. Overall, I cannot recommend this location based on my recent experience.

Twas inevitable. You can't treat customers like that and expect to remain solvent.

Just had the most lovely experience I have ever had at a Five Guys location. The cashier, Ana, greeted me with so much kindness and a very warm smile! They immediately turned my mood around for the better. After this, I accidentally dropped my water bottle lid under the soda fountain machine and the kind gentleman working went completely out of his way to move the machine and get it for me. He then proceeded to wash the lid for me in the back! This was such an act of kindness that he didn't need to do, but chose to. Another gentleman working made the most delicious fries I have gotten from Five Guys (seriously - crispy and and perfectly seasoned), and gave us a VERY generous amount. He also have unending good vibes. Thank you to you three for making my not-so-great day a lot better; your kind energies went such a long way :)

I know inflation is real but I can't believe I just payed $17.30 for a burger and fries here-- without any sit down table service or ambience. Bright fluorescent lights and heavy AC are uninviting. The fresh patty competitors charge 1/3 the price and produce your order 3X faster. The cashier was nice!

Thoroughly disgusted with my order from Five Guys. I always order the lettuce wrap burger and am usually pretty content with my orders. This one was terrible and I couldn't even eat any of it. I have yet to write management but intend to in hopes this will never happen again.

I love Five Guys burgers and fries, when I can get my order fulfilled. Every time and literally every time I've ordered it's either wrong or flat out lost. I tried using their website to order, thinking that would help and nope. Pass on this location.

The food is not bad. Their presentation is horrible, though. Burgers are a smashed mess. Went to order bacon cheese burgers for my family last night, and was informed that i cannot have bacon. I asked why, and they told me that they have to hold on to what they have for grubhub/uber eats/door dash orders, because they were told that those orders HAVE to be fulfilled. So they are denying walk-ins the product, just in case they have the delivery orders that request those products, later on. They said the manager will not allow them to sell bacon. Absolutely horrible customer service.

though I usually go to five guys with a lot of hope and expectation within my food, and usually receive great outcomes. Though this time was different, not only did I wait a matter of 30 minutes or more, and with in that time, period, had dropped my fries. Though I tried to be courteous to these workers and understanding that it is a late night they are definitely not getting paid enough for this. I still left, feeling dissatisfied, and that ultimately, they forgot to give me my burger. Though I did pay for it. Overall I am satisfied with my experience at five guys, but this one has definitely made an impact with in my experience.

I've ordered twice in the last two weeks and both times there fries are salty as hell. I'm starting to think there doing this sh## on purpose who ever the manager is needs to really fix this problem. .. fries ain't the only thing wrong either customer service is horrible not welcoming..
