Finger Lakes Dental Care - Canandaigua

I am so thankful I found this dentist group! New to Canandaigua I had someone suggest this group on Main Street. I had to have a tooth pulled and two teeth prepped for a bridge . I felt so comfortable , never felt pain and Dr. Frank was so gentle and caring and assistant Aubrey was also amazing! They have such a great sense of humor with each other felt so at ease with them! The front desk girls are just as nice ! Highly recommend this group!

If you enjoy being fleeced for procedures you don't need and also talked down to then this is the place for you.

I'm reporting them for insurance fraud. I know of one lawsuit for a similar concern and another possibly in the works. Avoid large dental groups with young dentists. They've all been trained like salespeople to upsell every single visit leading to more billing for them and more dental pain for you.

They like to tell you that they take "patient education" seriously but never tell you the risks of the procedures they want to do. Not once did anyone tell me the procedure they recommended could damage my gums, open me up to infection, leave me with permanent tooth sensitivity or other horrors. I'm grateful I didn't take their advice.

I'm new to the area and was in need of immediate dental care. I honestly can't say enough great things regarding my experience at Finger Lakes Dental Care.

My entire experience from making my appointment, checking in at the front desk, to having my tooth extracted, was just outstanding. Absolutely everyone working here that I encountered made me feel welcomed and comfortable.

My DDS, Kami Sobey and her assistant Annie, were amazing. They both gave me a lot of their time and were extremely professional, friendly, and very articulate. They both had the most pleasant personalities which really helped take the edge off my anxiety.

Going forward, I will be in need of more dental work/procedures and there's no other place I would even consider after the way I was treated today at Finger Lakes Dental Care.

As for the facility itself, the office is extremely spacious and their equipment is state of the art. They also get 5 stars for cleanliness as well. If you're like me who used Yelp to help choose a dental practice, you absolutely will be extremely happy if you choose Finger Lakes Dental Care!

This is the first time I could hardly wait to submit a review. I am fairly new to the Finger Lakes Dental "family". I can't say enough about the high quality of care, courtesy, efficiency, and professionalism received from every aspect from the front end office staff to each person contributing to my dental health. The care received today in having braces put on my teeth pushed me to submit this review. Thank you to the office staff, Dr. Jason, Pam & everyone else I have seen in the few visits of my many to come in the future. You all should be so proud of the fine team you have put together. We are so fortunate to have your Dental Practice in our area. Thank you so much for all of your team's dedication in performing each area of their expertise so effectively.

After about 10 years of procrastination and anxiety, I decided it was high time for a dental check-up.

I googled sedation dentistry in my area, and Finger Lakes popped up. Their description on their website read as if it was lifted directly from my mind, so I had to book an appointment.

From setting the appointment via phone, to the consultation and meeting with the Doctor, they were phenomenal. I strongly encourage anyone who avoids or procrastinates dental visits based on anxiety to pay them a visit.

I had an extraction here a few years ago and all in all it was as good an experience as getting a tooth pulled can be. It is time for more dental work. I shopped the work around getting estimates from other major providers and even checked out dental tourism in Costa Rica and Mexico. After meeting with Dr. T and staff, seeing the quality and level of technology in their equipment and facility, seeing all the good work they do in the community, it was an easy decision to keep my dental business right here in the Finger Lakes. All dental work is expensive and Finger Lakes Dental Care is no exception but Dr. T gave me 3 options, walked me through the advantages and disadvantages of each and gave me a competitive price estimate for each procedure. Next week we will begin restoring my clean but old and somewhat neglected dental work. I feel good about my decision to have the work done at Finger Lakes Dental Care.

Wonderful experience!! Staff is warm and very welcoming. Explained everything very well. I will recommend to everyone. I have not be able to find a dentist that will listen or seem to take time to get to know their pts. I definitely have at FLDC.

Friendly staff, beautiful building and very technologically advanced!

My son hates going to the dentist. He's 5. He also doesn't like to be quiet, so a dental visit has always been difficult, as he cannot talk through the exam and cleaning! However, Finger Lakes Dental made his visit a great experience. The office is so relaxing as soon as you walk in. The play area for the children is fantastic (and even has a TV) and was helpful in entertaining my younger one during the older child's appointment. We didn't wait more than a few minutes, the intake was all done electronically (which I LOVE), the hygienist was friendly, the doctor was great and my son even said it "wasn't that bad," which is a compliment as far as a dental visit goes! I'll be booking my own cleaning in 6 months and will certainly return with the whole family as needed.

I recently visited Finger Lakes Dental Care for a cleaning, and they exceeded my expectations. Since this was my first visit, the hygienist (Laurie), showed me the space and thoroughly explained each step of the process from patient intake forms to x-rays. Dr. Cody came in to do my exam and was incredibly friendly and kind; as she shared with Laurie particular areas to watch, she translated the technical language into explanations for me that I could comprehend. Despite having not been to the dentist in over a year, the cleaning was painless, thorough, and reasonably timed. Everyone in the office from the front desk staff to the dentists are very kind, patient, and pleasant. I would highly recommend this office.
