I have spent almost $5000 here in the last two years. I have an 8 year old son that I spend roughly $40 a week at the range. Went to hit some balls with him this morning and he wanted to play. I've been carrying for him on courses to get him dialed for two years around the area. after my son Teed off, they told me that I could not go on the golf course unless I was playing.
How are we supposed to teach the youth in this country how to play golf if you can't caddy for an eight year old boy at a piece of crap par three course?
Trust me, I won't be back! And I'll be spending the word.
I'll shop online from now on.
You lost my business forever, and I hope more support my thoughts about this policy! GARBAGE!!!!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 1 - 34102191Jul 2, 2023
Expansive pro shop! Seriously one of the largest ones I've seen and very well stocked. Great place to take some golf lessons. Very easy to schedule online.

Stopped by Fiddler's Green to get fitted for some new clubs - i have never had my own set of clubs (other than hand-me-downs) and I wanted to get some professional advice. I also wanted to stay under budget. Spoke to Carmen and he was super professional! we spent almost 2 hours hitting a variety of clubs, measuring me for length, etc. He made some great recommendations based on my swing speed, etc and i ended up leaving with a full bag! :-) The whole time Carmen was thoughful, careful to stay under budget, and provided some great advice. best Golf shopping experience ever!

If this is your first time going to play golf or looking to get some new clubs this is a great place to go. The course is not to hard and wide open with no bunkers. They also have a great pro shop with staff thats very knowledgeable. They will help you in which clubs to get depending on your swing speed.

I went there to look for a new 52 wedge they had me go to there practice rang to see if I liked it. While I was hitting the ball I started to have the shanks (hitting it right) they had three people work on me to fix it.
Fiddlers Green also has a fun par 3 course for a great price. With a great practice putting green.Aug 9, 2016Previous reviewThis place is awesome!! Review for the shop, staff, products.
As good as it gets customer service.
We were taken out back to their driving range for hands on feel of our new driver. Super knowledgeable staff, giving great info. Loved it.
Don't be intimidated! As we've been at perhaps too-big or too-busy shops where one gets the sense -- you should know what you want, get it already.
These folks are friendly, genuine and follow the 'covid' guidelines AND THEN SOME!! Hand sanitizer at the front door with gentle urging to make use of it... signage around and about instruct how one is to try on a hat (or not) and shoes as well.
Careful attention to the customer experience throughout. Very difficult balance, the staff here at Fiddlers Green have succeeded.
Note: As COVID actually stands for 'Certificate of Virus Identification ', its misnomer is to be noted herein. More accurate, it was earlier termed ( and then fell out of favor by the media) Novel Corona Virus. Fyi.Helpful 47Thanks 1Love this 49Oh no 0 - Tim R.Portland, OR0241Feb 19, 2023

This place is great! I finally bought some new irons and Sandhya was extremely helpful. They let you try out new clubs before you buy and take excellent care of you from the moment you walk in until the moment you leave.

I went in to have my irons re-gripped and and while I waited I tested some drivers. I told the associate "Kevin" I was not purchasing today and he still spent a great deal of time adjusting the drivers and talking about the tech with me.
I was impressed with attention to details and customer care.
Thank you, Kevin. Thank you. Fiddler's.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Aug 23, 2020
I don't get many opportunities to golf with my work schedule, but I try to make it out a few times every year and it is usually to Fiddler's Green. It is a small par-3 only course that is almost exclusively straight greens. The longest hole is just over 200 yards and the shortest hole is around 80, so I spend the majority of my time with a 7-iron and wedges when I play.
Fiddler's Green has a lot of driving range spots, but most are teed up very high. I don't hit from a tee placement that high, but I make it work. There is a chipping spot and a putting area. The putting area has more elevation than most of the greens (the greens are almost all flat, despite what turns and twists you envision the ball may take). There is a food area inside where you pay for your rounds that has basic sandwiches and drinks, but it is a nice amenity to not have to leave the course to grab something to eat.
Fiddler's has a huge shop of golf supplies and clothing. I have only been in it a few times, but it is pretty packed with everything you would need. I tend to feel that they are a bit on the expensive side, but at least you have everything in one spot to look at.
Overall, Fiddler's Green is a great place. The course is not going to challenge you (unless you are terrible at golf like me and mini-putt courses seem challenging). You'll be able to practice if you want to, the prices for rounds and driving range balls is reasonable (about $10/round and $1.50 or $2.00 per driving token), you can grab a quick bite to eat, and you can shop for golfing items all at one place. It is a good beginner's golf course, but if you are looking for something tougher or longer you will need to look elsewhere.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - C. L.East Bay02122Aug 4, 2022
We stopped by here not to golf but to check out their store and to get a couple of clubs re-gripped. While we were waiting we wandered around. Very attentive staff that made sure you were taken care of. My husband tried out some wedges and staff were very attentive and answered all his questions. They were not pushy and left him alone out in the practice area to try them out. Very good experience overall.
