      Ice cream!!!

I'll echo the other reviews. FCC is small on the inside, there is a bathroom, and they have a flavor for everyone. Wish there were more sugar free options. Service is good because you can sample flavors. The shopping center it's in is kind of weirdly designed - not my favorite place in Houston.

Yes to the homemade ice cream! This place has a great option selection, not the typical flavors, which I like. They can over boozy cocktails and milkshakes, that was a plus. Waffle cone was my favorite. Can't wait to return to try more

This time my bf got raspberry peach melba. Light and refreshing. Chunks of fruit.

I got stone cold cream Austin (white chocolate with brownie chunks). Very good!

Brown butter brown sugar waffle cone is huge and delicious.

$12.99 after tax for our (2) single scoop waffle cones. Not cheap but a good treat every once in awhile.
      ----
We also sampled brown sugar cereal milk (not bad), almond cloud (reminded me of a sugar cookie. Wouldve been my 2nd choice), and milk tea with strawberry cake (last place).

Menu Jan 2023. Peanut butter banana was our favorite!

Got a cone which was HUGE and with hot fudge and we also got a create your own with sprinkles, kitten chips and fudge.
I will say kitten chips were the best And a must get. The area had beach chairs to relax at night and had multiple restaurants with other places to try.
Kids were playing outside too so a fun spot. I'd try more flavors next time but kitten chips are a must.

I chose Fat Cat despite my crowd wanting Cold Stone- because we can get Cold Stone anytime and we've never had Fat Cat. Walking in, the smell of the waffle cones was intoxicating, so much so my "ice cream strictly in a cup" husband opted for a waffle cone. The waffle cone unfortunately was somehow disappointing and lacking flavor. I sampled two flavors and was disappointed with both but committed to Salted Nutella which got too salty quickly. Thankfully my sweet husband traded me for his, which also wasn't the best. Great flavor ideas that just missed the mark, for me. The two employees could have worked more efficiently to ensure customers didn't feel rushed to decide. The outdoor space was super nice and I love that it's a fenced in space ensuring safety of little ones. Cute photo op inside too!

Fyi they did move locations! So this is the newest location. Which the other location for some reason I liked more it was more small and intimate. This location is bigger and there is an outside patio area which is very pretty cozy! There are other local businesses connected.
Service was well and welcomed in! We were able to try different flavors! The only thing that was off was a big bee flew into the ice cream and the worker preceded to fix our ice cream and cleaned the bee out once we walked away. There weren't any gloves used for fixing ice cream.
The ice cream flavors are pretty good and also the cones. The parking lot is shared with other businesses but there is plenty of parking. Will def return this is my daughters favorite spot!

This is the best creamery in houston, so much so that I earned a badge, lol. I had the whiskey butter pecan cone with hot chocolate sauce and added pecans. The service today was not as friendly as it's been in the past but the ice cream made up for it. The ambiance was lovely as usual just not a fan of them not having indoor seating, especially with this Texas heat. But I shall return. Love the Oak Forest area.

The store is pretty plain and all seating is outside.

They have a great selection of frozen treats including after ice cream treats to relax with. Helpful staff. Good pricing. We are so glad we stopped for this made in store ice cream shop.

Why 5 stars? The ice cream was really worth the trip. My wife had the gluten free strawberries and cream.
They also have a couple dairy free selections.

Bar, ice cream, floats, head hopper. Malts, shakes just about anything you can image.

Someone please remind me I can only eat one scoop of ice cream so I won't regret it later! Lol you can't not get the homemade waffle cone. Don't worry if the cone is too much they have cups too. I got a little crazy and tried the chai coconut plus the classic Mexican vanilla. The coconut was a nice balance to the chai, but would definitely need to be in the mood for that flavor profile. Great thing is you can always sample first. Flavors get changed out semi regularly from what I remember so only bummed there wasn't more flavors I was super jazzed about. Otherwise a great summer treat or any time really. If you eat outside- eat fast, it's hot!

I love a fat cat! And I love this ice cream shop. I'm a dedicated, hard working cat mom. So when I saw anything cat related on my way to grab some pho I had to stop what I was doing and see what it was. While I was disappointed I did not find and fat furry friends to pet, I was not disappointed with the delicious ice cream and waffle cone I took home! The variety of the ice cream selection was quite impressive. I personally went with the Mexican vanilla and cream/coffee ice cream. Now to the cone, I'm not sure how they make it but it was legit the best waffle cone I've had! It wasn't hard but it also wasn't soft it was crunchy yet soft to the bite. The texture and flavor is just perfect! Excited to try more flavors!
