Headed to Family Kitchen for Friday night dinner!!!
They had a "limited" menu tonight but it was still extensive..

I went with my usual Buffalo Chicken Wrap (hold the tomatoes) and hand breaded Onion Rings (I am a Onion Ring Snob and these were good)
The hubby got the Open Face Roast Beef with Breaded Mushrooms and a salad. They have the Best Breaded Mushrooms around!!!!
This meal took me back to when I would head to my Granny's for lunch during school. Yum.. I could have used more gravy but...

It's good home made food. Yummy fried chicken. The fish is delicious. Also may I add the pies are good.

First time here. The hours are so variable I haven't been able to eat there because they are usually closed when I go by at regular eating times. I happened by at 7:15 at night on a Thursday and they were open. Seams reasonable. Ordered an app which never came out. I asked about it when she brought our food out. Didn't end up with that. Asked for some Mayo; never showed. She asked how the meal was and I again asked for Mayo. Finally showed up half way through my meal. Burger and macaroni salad were good but fries were soggy and really thin and hard to eat. May go back and try something different if they happen to be open again.

The service was good. The food was hot, which usually doesn't happen with breakfast at most restaurants. The omelette was really small. They must use the smallest eggs they can get. The toast was soggy. The restroom was filthy. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. It was very disappointing.

Love this place. Very reasonably priced with large portions. Good service. Great comfort food.
