Face Forward Skin Care

Mundi is very nice however the facial I received was a bit perfunctory and the extractions minimal. Once in the chair and under the magnified mirror, no useful information was given about skin care. Usually some kind of individualized skin regimen or care instructions are recommended based on one's skin issues.

Also, if you're looking for a relaxing spa/facial experience, this isn't it.
I was dismayed that during the period I was left alone to "relax" to soothing music, all I could hear was someone having a loud conversation into her phone.
Her colleague was in the office next door but she might as well been in the same room her talking was THAT loud. Not relaxing in the least.

I have now been getting facials from Mundi for 7 years. I always get facials from resorts and spas when I travel, and Mundi is as good if not better than others. And- her prices are incredibly competitive. I really appreciate Mundi's in depth knowledge and her continuing education in the latest effective techniques and procedures. I LOVE the privacy of the Face Forward studio and enjoy the peace and quiet. I don't enjoy listening to other spa-goers receive treatments at other facilities. I always come away completely relaxed and with renewed skin when I leave Mundi.

I have read some of the other odd reviews and I am bewildered by them. Prices at Face Forward are clearly posted, why would anyone think that they are negotiable? No high service establishment that I have ever been to negotiates price, nor should they be expected to. And just because a service provider won't change their pricing, doesn't mean someone should be passive-aggressive and try to slam them. If I can't afford a certain service, I don't request that service. Seems like a no-brainer to me. Part of working with service professionals is letting them know what works and what doesn't. They aren't mind readers. Every time I have made a request, Mundi is quick and happy to accommodate me.

Bottom line - Mundi is very professional, knows and cares about her business. I am never disappointed by my facials and look forward to many more.

What can I say? I love Mundi and I love Face Forward Skin Care!

I have been seeing Mundi for over 5 years and what sets her apart from other Spas are:

1. She has amazing rapport with people and is extremely funny. Seeing her is like seeing your best friend! I ALWAYS have a great time!

2. The skin care lines she carries are effective and therapeutic to skin.

3. The atmosphere of her SPA is very relaxing and "zen" like.

4. She is very empathetic towards clients and ONLY recommends treatments that will help.

5. Very reasonable rates for both products and services.

You will NOT be disappointed!

Great place. Mundi was the first to give me my first Brazilian after being reccomended by my best friend. Mind you, for first timers, this experience can be very daunting. Because I mentioned it to a coworker what I as about to have done and she mentioned something about her first experience, trying to save a few dollars and going to a shady place, and winding up in the emergency room with stiches....yeeeeow!!!

I digress....I have since moved to Fremont, so I have found a spot closer to my home. But I highly reccomend her for waxes and facials. She is very knowledgeable about skincare.

Mundi is amazing! I saw her ad in Metro and called her up for my first Brazilian wax.

She always keeps it 110% professional, and her facilities are extremely clean and relaxing. Mundi is also very punctual and detail oriented, which I really appreciated. She takes the time to look at your individual needs and assesses what your particulars skin type requires for the best possible results. Love her!

Getting a facial by Mundi was an awesome experience. She has created a very soothing, relaxing atmosphere which just added to the 'me time' I was looking for. Each time I walk out of there feeling like a new person.

So sad to report I need to find a new esthetician. Yikes! I wanted to get a more invasive peel, but due to the price, had to (sheepishly) back down and request a regular facial. Mundi made me feel like I was on a street corner, begging for change. Once she learned I wanted the basic facial, she made no conversation, and made me feel like a leper who was wasting her time. No thanks!

I agree with the other reviewers when they say that Mundi is very knowledgeable, open, honest, and accommodating. She doesn't push you to buy products from her and she only recommends treatments that your skin actually needs. She does not ask you to do extra/add-on treatments (to make extra money) if your skin does not truly need it. I appreciate that because there's no pressure and you can just come in and know that you're not getting taken advantage of.

I've had problem skin all my life and I've been going to Face Forward Skin Care for almost a year now. So far, my breakouts have been under control and I couldn't be happier.

Pampering, relaxing facials with up to date equipment and products. Mundi does a great job assessing and treating my skin. She is super smart and really nice. Another plus: affordable! You will love her.

Mundi is awesome! She came highly recommended and has lived up to every expectation. I have rosacea and she is extremely knowledgeable about what is the appropriate treatment for this skin condition and what is contraindicated. She works with you on possible packages and pricing. When I'm in a chatty mood, she talks, but if I'm quiet she respects that too! She does not try to sell me anything that is not appropriate.
