Was here for one week. Had to switch rooms twice because toilets backed up when flushed. One room had an AC unit leaking for a long time which made the carpet wet, wicked up an end table and created an awful musty smell. There were ticks in one room and roaches in another. Dishes and garbage bags were left in the hallways from Friday afternoon through the following Monday afternoon. Room service slammed every door over and over again as they cleaned rooms. Litter all over the parking lot.

The facility itself is good. Exercise room not great. Treadmill, elliptical and seated bike. Nothing else and there is room for more. Breakfast was not breakfast. Muffins and nothing else. Went down one morning around 8:30 and there was nothing left except coffee. In my room the bathroom was missing a cover. The door was falling off the hinges, you had to lift up the door to close it. The pool was nice but they have big safety issue. There are wasps nest all over the pool. We counted a minimum of 7 nests. One end of the pool they were swarming. When you have young children playing in the pool this is an issue. They really need to get up there and remove all the nests. The bathroom sink had a leak. I returned to the room at 8pm. Called the front desk and no answer. I waited and called again and no answer. The next day I called again and was put on hold for over 10 minutes and no one returned to the phone. Also according to the front desk here is only one way in or out of the hotel. So for instance if you go out to the pool, you are basically locked out of the hotel because there is no card access to re-enter the hotel. You have to walk around to the front of the hotel main entrance and open the door to let patrons back into the hotel.

Love leaving honest opinions since it helps all around.
I'm a clean freak, however am working nearby and need a reasonable place to stay since Hilton properties start at 100 per night here . . So here I am.They assigned me a large room overlooking the street with 2 huge windows and new clean flooring in large bathroom and large kitchen. All the wood furniture is so beat up to the point it looks like it's been thrown across the room a few times. The main room carpet is old and stained with who knows what. When it gets warm in the room a funky smell appears. It matches the strong stench you get when you exit the elevator. It smells like rotting something and I'm not kidding.
It's a funky odor like dirty wet carpeting or worse.
The staff is super friendly and helpful, yet have no authority to have things fixed like the 2 laundry rooms only 2 out of 4 washers working and only 2 out of 4 dryers working and they are . . .they need cleaned, so I go to laundry down the street. Grab and go breakfast is a joke. LotS of young children live here and they take all the unhealthy breakfast items on the way to school and they occupy the pool almost every day.
For $50 a night it's really they only place around, however if the owners could invest in some updates to show a little pride in ownership, I feel it would be a great place. I have only seen a few bugs . . . On the floor after a rain.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Assata A.Beverly Hills, Guadalupe, AZ051Nov 21, 2021
If I could give this place zero stars I would. Worst hotel experience I've had. This hotel is roach infested and unkept. I found three live roaches the same day, one in the room, one in the bathroom and one in the living area. The old dirty carpet carries a funk and you can smell it throughout the room and the hallways. If you want to feel comfortable sleeping and leaving your belongings in a hotel don't book here!

Absolutely disgusting. Filthy hotel that is falling apart, with windows broken, cracks in walls, doors stick, and horrible smells. No amenities at all, they didn't even put out coffee. It was like camping. Keep on driving or sleeping your car instead.

Traveling with a dog and stopped here as it was the first one that popped up that accepted pets. It was filthy. First room had a big red stain in the floor and what looked like blood smeared on the sink. I asked to be moved and I saw three roaches in the second room. I got my bag and headed down the hallway to leave and saw more roaches in the hall. Staff was kind, I felt bad for the employee who helped me because it was like she knew, and she was very apologetic. Don't stay here

Checked in with my 13 year old son. We travel to Irmo from Charlotte often for hockey. I was hesitant because of the price. I should've known better. The room smelled like curry. The bathroom was hideous but I figured it's one night. As I was sitting in the chair on my phone something caught my attention. A large roach was crawling on the floor and went under the bed. See ya we gone!

First, the only positive experience is that Roy at the front desk has been so sweet to us and has helped us whenever we see him. However, in general here is my experience: I have been staying here since March 1st for a healthcare fieldwork. I am also in a power wheelchair. When I arrived there was no shower chair in the shower and it took almost a week to get one from Extended Stay. I had to go to the store myself and buy one because they did not have one. $80 wasted. There is not alot of light. Questioned front office about lighting and they do not have higher bulbs. Just a thought, is it cheaper for low power lighting or if someone mentions it, maybe try to accommodate and get some more lighting for them or brighter lightbulbs. It is not a little inconvenient, it is alot. We have extension cords we have to use because not all outlets are working. There was almost no pressure in the shower until we said something and they had to fix. The stove does not work properly making it impossible for me to cook, the housekeeping service only comes after 2-3 weeks, when you go to the front desk, no matter how many people are in the room with you, you get 1 roll of toilet paper. I saw a roach and some babies and when I called the front desk, they said they'd let the exterminator know and that he should be here this week. No apologies, no run to make sure I had an accessible shower. I understand that there are alot of people in the hotel that are living here right now as well as using it as a hotel. All of the people here should have respect by having a place to be that is free of bugs and has good customer service.

The most disgusting, filthy hotel I have ever been in. Stay away!!! Roaches and ticks in the room, AC not working, beat-up furniture, no coffee pot in room, leaking toilet, no extra toilet paper, no dishes (this is an extended stay), NO BREAKFAST, just coffee, even though it says it has free breakfast.
Based on their unpleasantness, it seems even the staff is unhappy to be there. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
