We were in Cumberland for one hour break. We're referred by the locals to this cafe. The main menu was hand written on the blackboard. There were some dish photos on the wall. The meat pie was delicious. The chip'sand salad had many ingredients. The chipotle chicken sandwich was well prepared. Two scoops of strawberries and mocha latte ice creams were great finishes. This is a gem in Cumberland!

Let me tell you, that tiramisu was the best I've ever had in my life. I can die happy now, knowing what honest to goodness tiramisu taste like. Could also be I just biked 32 miles but any who. The gentleman who served us was nice too. Also, got an americano bold yet smooth. Can't wait to stop again!

Would give 3.5 if I could. Cute place with outdoor tables and friendly service. Got the chicken salad on croissant and it was delicious. Only issue was that for $11.49 expected a bit more chicken salad to cover the whole bread and be a little thicker. Got the tiramisu for dessert. It was good but not the traditional tiramisu I get at Italian restaurants. The top layer is whipped cream with chocolate sprinkles and did not have the strong espresso flavor and cocoa powder on top. Nice sized slice though.

Small little cafe with a lot of character! The customer service was great and the ice cream was wonderful! Overall I had a great experience here and if you're in Cumberland looking for dessert then give this place a visit!

Hands down the best chicken salad sandwich I've ever had! The croissant it was on was light and fluffy and the chicken salad was divine, and I'm super picky about chicken salad. My husband had a chipotle chicken sandwich which was equally amazing they also have ice cream and the prices are all super reasonable. The service was insanely fast and the food was amazing. We'll definitely be back!

We stopped here for lunch. It's a great location right at the point the GAP trail hits the C&O canal towpath. The food is excellent and the service was great. We had a great chicken salad sandwich and excellent Italian sub. After we enjoyed a delicious latte!

Very nice food and friendly service. My husband had the spinach pie and I had the chicken salad without the bread. Both were flavorful and freshly made and came with a side salad. Coffee was good too! We were too full at the end and had no room for dessert! Maybe we should come back just for that.

They make very good espresso, cappuccino and latte, but you can also get a classic Turkish-style coffee, made in a cezve. I was surprised to find in Cumberland the best, Balkan-style (only walnuts) baklava in Maryland! It is made by the owner who is a Bosnian, a very friendly and nice man. Also the Bosnian-style burek with ground meet etc. is very good.
On the top of those southeastern Europe specialties they have cakes, croissants, beverages etc. - of course. All-in-all very good experience. Strongly recommend.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 14, 2020
We got the specials - burek and the spinach pie. Both was delicious - the pie had the right balance of cheese and spinach inside the light phyllo dough (not greasy). Their desserts are also not to be missed - a great creamy tiramisu, and as others have mentioned, the baklava was authentic. True to Bosnian heritage, their coffee was great. I enjoyed talking to the friendly owner after our brief lunch here.
