Now this is a dining experience! I have longed for more restaurants in El Paso to have this type of ambiance and service whilst dining. Perhaps I've been spoiled living in New Orleans and travelling all around, but Entrecôte has perfected the art of European dining in town.

Don't come here if you're wanting a super quick meal and hoping to dine and eat all within 60-90 minutes. Dinner is meant to be enjoyed with great company and conversation, paired with some delicious libations and savory eats.

My sister and I made a reservation for two and upon check-in we were promptly seated. The manager and staff were all accommodating and very polite throughout our meal.

I actually noticed they had a private dining room with glass walls, and thought that would be neat for a more intimate family occasion (spoiler alert-- we will be enjoying the room this week for a family celebration lol).

As for the drinks, mine were not necessarily the best but I also made the mistake of asking for drinks I don't think the bar had proper knowledge on. I'll make sure to stick with more signature cocktails and wine.

Now the true star of the show is their food. Come with an appeite and get ready for your eyes to dilate with pure bliss. Their food is euphoric and will give you the foodgasm face. (For all my fellow foodies, y'all know exactly what I'm talking about.)

A few must haves for the table are:
      -Moules Frites
      -Scallops Au Gratin
      -Braised Short Ribs
      -Parmesan Truffled French Fries
      -Les Pates de St Tropez

The Mussels and fries had a nice kick to them and the mussels were massive. My sister and I couldn't get enough of them and even enjoyed the broth by the spoonful lol.

I suggest doubling down on the scallops because the cheesy goodness and presentation are freaking unbelievable. I am drooling just thinking about them right now.

Braised Short Ribs. Easily one of my fave meals I've had in ages. I am just giddy inside knowing I'll be having this dish again soon.

French Fries. The amount of parmesan and truffle oil was great and not overpowering. You could also tell they stay on top of swapping out their oil.

Now the les pates de St Tropez pasta dish was unexpected for me, but damn did I get slapped across the face with flavor. You have to order a plate for the table and just enjoy.

This meal was an experience I thoroughly enjoyed and recommend everyone in El Paso going here at least once (maybe five times).

This was my first time at Entrecôte in El Paso. We don't live here (yet) but we like the city in general and have family there. After a long day dealing with family stuff, we were looking for a good place to enjoy an early dinner. We found Entrecôte by accident while cruising on Mesa. I told my wife, oh a French restaurant, that's french for ribeye (more or less), let's try it. Did I mention I was French :-) ?

Anyhow, the place is very cute, and the service is excellent. They really try their best to help you. I did have a chat with the staff to tell them about some french specific tips, and they appreciated it.

The steaks were great, and before we left, we made sure to speak with the owner/manager, a French guy, to find out what brought him to El Paso.

We had a good time and we will be back!

I had a great night at this establishment. I love that you can make reservations online. The ambience is very nice, so is the menu. It was an anniversary dinner and the restaurant brought out surprise bubbly and sparkles. It was such a nice touch. Overall I've enjoyed the service- all the staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was cooked well. I had the duck and my partner had dry aged steak. Definitely recommend for a nice dinner.

The food was okay, but the service was not very welcoming. I ate here with family and friends a year ago.

The host couldn't find the reservation and then treated the group like they didn't even belong there (racist? prejudice?). I arrived late, but this was what I was told.

It was one of the first racist incidents I have seen in El Paso in 10 years living here.

I won't come back here ever again.

We went to Entrecôte on a Saturday night around 6:30pm. It wasn't totally packed, but I still am glad we had a reservation. The restaurant itself is really nicely decorated and very cute. Staff was very attentive and professional while being personable. Drinks were okay. Food was good! I ordered a filet and fingerling potatoes, which were delicious. The corn was a little too heavy on the truffle, but still yummy. Would recommend for a date night or to celebrate an event!

      **DO NOT GO HERE**
The owner Olivier is an absolute crook. They charged my card a $225 cancellation fee for CHANGING my reservation from 9:15p to 10:15p and then I received an email stating my reservation was cancelled by the restaurant. THEN they tried to say that I cancelled the reservation when I have proof that THEY cancelled my reservation. The manager Oscar has no say at what happens at this restaurant. He has to pass everything through Olivier, who doesn't return phone calls or text messages. They do not have a cancellation policy on their website or on opentable. The manager even said, they do not have a cancellation policy so he didn't know why I was charged but the owner said to do it!

We've been coming to Entrecote for our anniversary every year for the past four years, and the food has always been amazing. Unfortunately, this year was a letdown. The dishes lacked flavor and desperately needed some seasoning or salt. On top of that, the French onion soup was way too salty. *Bring the Chef back!*

It's our anniversary tradition, but we might have to find a new spot next year. Disappointing, to say the least.

      Unexpected gem in the desert...
Came here for a date and fell in love with the lamb chops... funny thing is I thought I ordered pork chops but was delighted at the tenderness and juiciest of chops. The drinks were superb to say the least. Must try the Violet cream and champagne drink. The service was great Gio new exact what to recommend. And I would go before you miss the chance to try the iberico ham presentation and taste!!! Man I'm writing this missing the food already! Hope yall enjoy!

Server was good, but food was horrible!! Undoubtedly, some of the worst steaks we have ever had. They didn't have much flavor, weren't tender, and were only warm when brought out. They weren't overly busy, so there wasn't a good excuse for several items not being hot. As a matter of fact, their Chateaubriand, which is one of their signature dishes, was the worst I've ever had!
Being a French restaurant, you wound think their French Onion soup would be great, it was just okay.
The only item that was good was their Crème Brûlée.
I can say the decor was fairly nice. Overall, It was ashamed to end up having to take home over $100 in uneaten steaks for the dogs. I definitely would not recommend this restaurant for any food connoisseurs.

I'm giving it two stars because I think it can be fixed. Everything we ordered was smothered in globs of dressing or sauce, and it was really too bad because my salmon was cooked perfectly but you couldn't really taste it because it came with buckets of cheese gravy on top. So did the salad and my wife's fish. I know it's called creamed spinach but usually there's at least equal parts spinach and this was like one handful of spinach swimming in cream soup. For an appetizer, two entrees and two cocktails if we pay $300 we wanna know we enjoyed the food. I think if you ask for the sauces and dressing on the side or simply order something that doesn't come with any sauces you'll likely enjoy your food. Although the table left of us sent a meat dish back and we didn't know why.

This chef is likely really good. They don't need to drown their food in sauce it's not Chili's. Put the sauce under the meat/fish or on some potatoes and let your food speak for itself. I bet it would have been really tasty without all that.
