Small diner with minimal seating, but consistently busy so there may be a wait.
Quite an extensive menu with a lot of different options. Main part of the menu is their long list of sandwiches. Everyone in my party loved the Cuban, and the club and BLT were very good as well. However, ask if your sandwich comes with fries before ordering a side because the menu doesn't say and some sandwiches do and some don't.
Overall, the food was good, but the service was just okay. I recommend if you're in the area looking for some good Spanish food, but not sure it's worth a super long drive.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 28, 20241 check-in
I lived in Miami for 10 years and I just had the chance the tried Enriqueta's shop. A little spot in the middle of busy midtown with a classic Cuban ventanita and delicious food.
My takeout order took a few minutes to be ready. I enjoyed the Tuesday lunch special for $12 including carne frita, white rice, black beans, fried bananas, and salad. Delicious! I couldn't leave without getting their famous pan con bistec for $9. This one was a solid sandwich with steak, tomato, onions, and potato sticks in Cuban Bread. Good lunch option.
Overall, a nice casual place that has been I'm Miami for many years offering delicious Latin food. A perfect place for a quick but good lunch.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 25, 2024
I couldn't leave Miami without getting a Cuban Sandwich. Since our last stop to get pastries and food to take home was in Wynwood, it was decided that Enriqueta's Cuban Sandwiches would be both our airport snack and our take home sandwich for our partners at home.
The place must've been swamped because it was taking a while for the food to come out. I lined up at the takeout counter and some guy was holding up the line for 15 minutes going on about an itemized receipt. The poor lady was so confused and the guy just took the receipt she wrote up from her hands when he got his food. If you're too broke to get 20 dollars worth of food without your company paying for it, you shouldn't be eating it at all. Just a thought. What was supposed to take at most 20 minutes became a 40 minute ordeal of us waiting to order and then waiting to get our food. The lady was nice but we could tell there were a lot of people in the diner. Since we didn't eat in, I can't say much about the ambiance. But the takeout window could be a little more efficient. Thankfully we accounted enough time for us to get to the airport.
The sandwich itself was pretty good and they gave a lot of ham. Since we ate our sandwich at the airport, the bread was a little hard but it was to be expected. When I heated up the sandwich again at home with my airfryer, the sandwich tasted even better with the crispy bread, melted cheese, and pickles.
So was the sandwich good enough for my friend and I to bring it home to NY? Probably not. But was it a good sandwich? Yes it was. So if you're in the area and you have time to spare, grab yourself a sandwich and a cortadito and have it inside.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Gabriel R.Laguna Woods, CA6185546Jan 20, 2024
Looking for an original, non commercialized spot for Cuban food? Look no further. This. Is. The. Spot!
The Cuban sandwich is incredible. The café con Leche hits like no other. However the Media Noche is hands down my personal fav. Hit this place up!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 28118424Nov 18, 2023
It was yet another great visit to the well-renowned Enriqueta's. The food as always was top notch and nothing short of spectacular. I always bring my family and friends here because the food is undeniably scrumptious.
The waitress (I'm assuming the younger granddaughter of the owner) was efficient in getting our order quickly but fell short of matching the level of food as she was on her phone a lot and eating at the counter. There were a couple tables that had to approach her for the check and other service items during their lunch. It is a "mom and pop" kinda place so I assume they are okay to allow this.
I usually get the lechón asado or ropa vieja at traditional Cuban spots but the sandwiches here are unmatched. The regular, double, medianoche, and croquette specials are all the bomb! Highly recommend all of them. Don't forget to add some of that Crystal hot sauce table side!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Caleb L.Miramar, FL03023Apr 11, 2024
Classic ventanÃa with an amazing Cuban sandwich. The inside is small and gets packed so be ready to eat outside. A little corner shop with a lot to offer. Their jugos are great too.

I found this place online because I wanted a really good Cuban sandwich. This restaurant is like a small diner, with limited seating if it's busy. We came at a good time because we were able to grab some seats. The menu has a variety of options. I went with the special Cuban, it has croquetas in it. One of the best Cubans I've ever had. Everything in the sandwich was perfect. Good size portion, nice melted cheese, toasted bread, and fresh meat. Service was good. Prices were very fair. We were like restaurant hopping, so we split this and went on to the next place. I recommend getting some sides if this is your lunch or dinner.

Is a small cafeterÃa in a prime neighborhood, that served cuban food at good prices and great quantity. The prices are lower than in your regular Miami restaurant. We just had a cubano sandwich, but everyone around us was having rice and beans with chicken or meat.

cubana a buenos precios y en gran cantidad. Los precios son más bajos que en su restaurante habitual de Miami. Acabamos de comer un sándwich cubano, pero todos a nuestro alrededor comÃan arroz y frijoles con pollo o carne.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - April F.San Antonio, TX706224Mar 19, 2024
Autentica comida cubana en Miami! The sandos are so delicious, media noche... unbelievably tasty. We got the Cuban Doble, the extra pork wasn't even necessary but if you want to split one sandwich with someone, this will be enough for three! Cafe cubano with evaporated milk was amazing! We ate here twice while in Miami for two days!

So I honestly do not understand what all the hype is about.
I came to eat here on a weekday at about 11:00am. The parking is horrible, but I understand its in a corner on a busy street so parking in limited.
It's a seating open situation. Where ever you find a open spot then just sit. The restaurant was not packed when we arrived maybe like 4 tables. So we got the only clean open table. A waitress came dropped off some menus and about 15 minutes later another waitress showed up tp take our order and bring us water.
I ordered a steak sandwich and it wasn't anything special. The bread was a bit tough so I ended up the steak alone with my fries.
My husband order toast and croquettes but he said his bread was cold and really tough. He just ate his croquettes.
The waitress never came back after she brought out our food and to cash out we had to ask the cashier if she could us our ticket.
My experience wasn't a good one so I don't think I'll be back anytime soon.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1
