Enchambered: Sacramento Escape Room

I recently tried the Containment Breach escape room and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. While I usually lean towards scary-themed rooms like Skullwitch and Whispering Halls, Containment Breach truly impressed me. The puzzles were not only challenging but also incredibly fun, and the cinematic effects were spot-on.

I'd like to give a special shoutout to Emily, our game master, whose hosting skills were exceptional. She stepped in just when needed, ensuring our group stayed on track without overshadowing the experience. Her sweet and kind approach added a 5-star touch to the entire session.

In my opinion, this escape room location stands out as the best I've ever encountered. The only downside is the limited number of rooms - just four (which is what usually around what other competitors would have too, but theirs are so much better!). I sincerely hope to see more creative escape rooms from them in the future. A big thank you to the owners and game masters for putting so much thought into crafting each room. The attention to detail truly sets this place apart, providing a more fulfilling escape room experience compared to others.

Looking forward to trying the fourth room soon too. Hopefully they have a fifth one coming by then.

This review was just for the check in process only because I was dropping off my son for a birthday party.

My son is in the 5th grade and he was invited to a birthday party here. My son was super excited because he had never been to an escape room, let alone one that's easy enough for kids to solve.

Finding this place was easy and parking was simple to find. Getting in the place is a different story. The doors were locked. I'm not sure if that's a thing or if there was a sign that said that the doors were locked for such and such reason. It threw me off so I didn't notice anything. The dad of the birthday celebrant opened the door and the other kids were already there waiting for the rest of the guests to arrive.

Okay, finally inside. It's dark and the entrance/guest check in is really small. There's a couple of couches and a coffee table....something you would see in a haunted house but in a small room or living room. the kids gathered in this area while some of us parents stayed off to the side. There was one worker at the desk to check in everyone. It took about 10 minutes of standing there before she said anything to us. She was doing some work on her computer before getting things ready for the party. After she was done, she gathered herself and then tried (yes I said tried) to calmly tell the kids to lower down their voices but let's be real...they are 5th grader...they are boys and girls and they love hanging out with one another. They are going to be loud. She gave up pretty quickly and so she moved onto the parents to sign a waiver. I didn't see a waiver online but then again, I didn't look too hard...kind of like the door situation.

Anyway, the worker told us (mind you, like we were little kids) that we needed to sign the waiver. We could use the QR code that was on the counter to sign or we could just sign a bulk one. I don't know if she was stressed or because the kids were being a little loud, but she wasn't a pleasant person to deal with. Once I signed the waiver, I made sure my kid was okay and knew where the bathroom was, made sure the parents who were staying knew about Luke and that I was going to be around doing errands and shopping and that they could call me if they needed me to pick him up earlier.

The parents of the kid and the other kids were nicer than the worker.

I didn't stay since I was put off by the worker and the entire initial interaction. There was already a ton of people there and one more was just making it too crowed. I assume the party was fun. I didn't attend and have no experience with this place other than the first step inside the doors.

Hopefully other interactions with this place will be better if we decide to return for a visit as a family rather than an 11 year old birthday party.

I have done all the escape rooms in Rocklin and by far this facility is amazing great decorations, tons of multiple rooms, the staff is friendly helpful. We absolutely enjoyed ourselves and we are absolutely coming back. Thank you so much for the fun time this evening. They are the greatest. You guys should go check them out.

I'm surprised I didn't write a review for this place last time I was here, but we recently did a new room that I thoroughly enjoyed so I had to make sure I gave Austin a shout out!

I've done two rooms here: Whispering Hall, which I did with my coworkers and we escaped!! And my most recent one was Skull Witch, which is their most difficult room. Both rooms are challenging and really pick at your brain, which I love! The puzzles definitely make communication key with your group if you want to get out!!

We had so much fun, we are looking forward to our next room! Easy to book online and they're so flexible and let you add people last minute as well. Fun and spooky ambiance, will definitely be back.

Had a great time doing the Containment Room today. Remy was a fantastic game master and all the staff were very accommodating and seemed to genuinely care about our experience.
I love that the room was very committed to the theme and even small details were accounted for.
Can't wait to go back for the rest of the rooms!

I've done two escape rooms here, the witch one and containment. Both were seteller rooms.

The production in these rooms is amazing and very immersive. The puzzles are great and so is the theming.

The witch room is pretty difficult and we did not escape. There were 4 of us and we are fairly experienced at escape rooms. I would definitely recommend 5-6 people for this room.

We did escape containment with a group of 4 with about 10 minutes to spare.

Again, these are great rooms for any escape room newbies or enthusiasts.

TEN OUT OF TEN. AKIMA was our host and she was AMAZING. SHE NEEDS A RAISE. So chill and funny and just made the experience all the better. We did the whispering halls and it was definitely spooky, the clues were cool and intricate, the puzzles were great, the set was just gorgeous and so detailed and pretty. We don't wanna spoil but let's just say we've done a lot of escape rooms and this was our favorite yet. We will definitely be back and doing the skull witch next.

Elena greeted us at the door. The place was clean and Elena was professional and friendly. The directions and rules were explained clearly. I highly recommend Trouble in the Toy Shop if you're bringing children, both of my kiddos were able to contribute to helping us escape the room. Definitely coming back to Enchambered.

My daughters volleyball team came to Enchambered for a team bonding experience. They did the whispering halls escape room. We could hear them screaming at the sound effects, They were all smiles when they left! Definitely would recommend, we'll be back with more friends!
