Back again for my annual work conference! They still have the same professionalism and accommodations that keeps us coming back. From the work space, ballroom, food options, and vendor spaces, I'm always comfortable here. Great hotel.
P.S. I wasn't able to stay here this visit because they booked up really early. However, I was able to walk from where I am staying. :)Helpful 7Thanks 1Love this 6Oh no 0Jul 14, 2023Previous reviewI have always had a pleasant experience while staying. I was in town for a conference and enjoyed. The room was clean and spacious. We were always fully stocked with towels and other things we needed. Another added touch we appreciated were the snack bags you get at check in, the complimentary happy hour, and valet. The also have cool amenities including indoor and outdoor pool, a workout facility, and store for your toiletry and snack needs.
As for the conference space, it was great. The hall was long and wide enough for everyone to engage with the vendors. The rooms had great space and technology. The screen sizes, mics, and sound was pretty good. We also had a luncheon/reception in a huge space that had great food, space, and table and chair arrangements.
Again, I always enjoy my time at the location as this is my second year attending. I'm looking forward to next year! - Jan 13, 2024
This is a huge hotel. All the rooms open to one big common area. For an embassy suites and for the amount you pay, the rooms need updating. They appear 1990s. Overall though, the room is clean and decent for a night stay. There was however what appeared to be mold on the wall in the bathroom. I think moisture was getting inside the walls. I told the front desk and they said "ohh I'll have maintenance look at it." However, what really upset me was to learn there was a $12 charge per night for parking. Upon checking in, they asked if I had a car, but failed to tell me there was a charge. If I had stayed longer than one night, I would be even more upset. Another possible issue for some was that the heated indoor pool was drained and out of order. That wasn't an issue for me though.
This place is big. Unfortunately, there is only 1 entrance unlocked. You must go through the front door. If you park on the side, you have to walk all the way around. I wish they opened a side entrance. The buffet was like most other restaurants with hot breakfast. It had the same exact items you would find, even the same juice and soda machines. The only difference was that they can make omelets for you. The buffet however did not have as many coffee, juice, bread selections as other Embassy Suites I've been to. There as nothing over and above that stood out. . I would consider staying here again. However, I would need to factor in the price of parking, or maybe just park next door.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 220204252Jul 24, 2023
Really nothing to knock here...a solid nights's sleep in a quality hotel room. Make plans to stand in line for the omelette station in the morning. Oh, and management...if someone happens to find my earring in room 314's bathroom sink...it was my favorite.

There were roaches in the food we had delivered that was sealed. I physically opened the boxes myself, so I know the bugs were not in there prior. After, maybe 15 minutes, I went to close the boxes and two roaches scurried around the box. I took pictures of them while trying to smash them with a plastic bag. They scurried under the coffee maker. I was already disappointed that the indoor pool was closed, and I paid extra for early check in for the kids to use it, now this. I went directly to the front desk, where the two associates kindly looked over my information and checked with the manager, who was in his office and never came out, what solutions I had. I wanted to be refunded and check out immediately. The front desk associates were kind and helpful. I couldn't believe their manager stayed in his office and let them deal with what I'd say was a pretty big problem. I hope he enjoyed his time playing with his Star Wars toys, that you could see him doing through the window to his office.
It's a rather outdated looking hotel with great amenities, but is gross.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jeff M.Wyoming, MI01Jan 15, 2024
Booked this location January 2024.
1) When checking in we were advised they charged a $12 parking fee, which was not listed when booking the hotel online. This location is in the suburbs of Nashville and huge parking lot is dedicated to the hotel. So why? Other than a hidden fee.
2) Basic room was $185 for 2 queen beds. Here's the knock on this location: hotel is really old and rooms need a big time update as carpets, couches in room, bedding and bathroom are all worn and dirty. Place smelled mildewed.
There were hairs on the bathroom floor and in the tub. Complained to the front desk and they simply apologized advising this is not normal. They did assign us to a different room, which was only slightly better.
3) The hotel lobby and hallway carpets are significantly stained in several areas!
4) Don't be fooled by the managers cocktail hour that provides free drinks and small snack food. The crappy beverages they provide leaves me feeling like I'd rather pay for better quality. Food was a few raw vegetables, chips and dip.
Drinks were well drinks (nothing you'd recognize), terrible cheap wine and basic bud light type beer only. No thanks!
5) The breakfast was so so as they did do omelets to order, but all the baked goods seem dry and stale. The juice machines were all closed as they were labeled as out of order.
I guess the bottom line for me is I expect more for $185 a night - at least a clean hotel room in a major chain like Embassy Suites. Especially since this hotel is not even in downtown Nashville.
Trust me - stay somewhere else. There is a Courtyard by Marriott right by this location. I can only imagine that's better!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kerista W.Independence, MO012Feb 28, 2023
After driving 9.5 hours, my husband, our 4 small children and I finally arrived at the hotel ready for bed at 1am. Our oldest slept in one bed, the other oldest slept with me in the other bed, our 1 year old in the pack in play (provided by hotel) and my husband slept on the pull out with our second youngest.
This morning I woke up and went to wake my husband to find a BED BUG crawling on him!! I alerted front desk and the was offered to have our things put in a heated dryer in hopes to kill any remaining bugs on our things. The front desk manager came out and spoke to me and basically told me that I brought the bug with me bc they don't "travel alone" and none others were found (supposedly). We we're offered NO compensation for this due to have a special rate on our room. The rate shouldn't matter. We had proof from the picture I took of the bug! This is disgusting and unacceptable! I wish I could give this place ZERO stars. The manager couldnt give any less care about how we felt or about our children. BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL!!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 2 - Mike B.Merritt Island, FL03Dec 14, 2023
DO NOT STAY HERE! Security Issues!! This location is NOT SAFE and the hotel staff does NOT care about their patrons.
We stayed here on Nov 17 and our vehicle was broken into resulting in thousands and thousands of dollars in damage and lost belongings. Despite the fact that there have been over 25 incidents in the past 18 months (6 break-ins in the past 6 weeks) of car theft and vehicle break-ins in their parking lot, there are NO WARNING SIGNS, NO mention of the risk when we checked in, NO parking lot patrol , NO cameras, and NO hotel security watching for the safety and security of patrons. The police stated there were 20+ vehicles broken into that night. The patrons were not notified by the front desk, even with multiple car alarms sounding outside - Seems a little curious to me!
After our vehicle was broken into, we had to ask 3 times to have our room charges removed, we were not offered any assistance to clean up the broken glass, we had to ask for tape and plastic to cover the broken window! They were UNHELPFUL and UNCONCERNED about the whole thing. We had to call back twice (after an assistance manager hung up on us) to talk to a manager who eventually referred us to their "Claims adjuster" - who was obnoxious and took NO Responsibility for the negligence on their part. In fact, he PUT THE BLAME on US.
The hotel was full of High School kids there for a convention - This is VERY DANGEROUS and could result in tragedy if patrons are not warned to stay inside and take extra precaution to protect personal belongings.
Find ANOTHER LOCATION TO STAY - even if it costs 2X as much! You do NOT want to be at this location!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mary M.San Francisco, CA022Jan 29, 2024
Horrible experience! The rooms are so outdated and dirty! Carpet had something sticky on it and it was frayed and worn. The pool was out of order our full 4 day stay which was not disclosed at check in. We are frequent Murphresboro visitors and will never stay at this hotel again!

This is not a $200 hotel and needs several renovations!!! Hilton should be ashamed of this property! The only thing decent is the breakfast, but get a regular hotel and go eat breakfast somewhere else. Where do I even begin with this run down place? The living room tv doesn't work, I can't get it to come on. The leather chair has a rip on it. The carpet is old and fraying. The couch is worn and uncomfortable. The bathroom tub is stained and when water drains it gurgles and shoots back up through the sink. The toilet barely flushes. There is no where to hang a towel, but on the back on the door The bedroom only has one small track light in the doorway so you can't see when digging through your suitcase in the closet. There are two lamps in the bedroom but the lighting is terrible and dank and dark. The bed is hard and my back hurts during the day after sleeping on it. The wallpaper has scratches and holes in it. If I could give this place zero stars I would. This is more like a $100 hotel and I'm only saying that bc of the breakfast and not a $200 hotel. Rip Off

Who has a concert in the parking lot of a hotel with guest trying to sleep??? Hotel staff completely uncaring. I will definitely never stay here again. Plenty of other options in the area. Beware travelers!
