This is the worst insurance agency I ever did business with. They are unprofessional. The communication is very poor and when your try to have a conversation with them they talk over you. I went online to set up automatic withdrawals. It did not go through I went away on vacation and returned,no one contacted me and my insurance was almost cancelled. Because this happened twice I had to pay in full. Which I did. At the end of my policy I decided not to re-enroll. My new insurance company "Metlife " ($600) less ..sent them notification , almost 2 months ago that I switched insurance carriers. They claim they never received it and sent me a bill stating my insurance is cancelled. I then had to get a letter and email it to them. I would advise, no not go through Elements for Insurance. You will end up doing there job for them with no pay.

Elements Insurance is an insurance agency that can offer clients insurance through many insurance companies. The majority of our companies are A-rated and have to comply with the insurance laws and regulations set by the state of MA. Our job as an agent is to process changes to policies and assist in any issues that a client may have, but the insurance policy is ultimately a contract between the customer and the insurance company directly - you pay the premium and they pay the claims. It sounds like you had a billing issue with your insurance company (which is, by the way, the largest in the state), and so they issued a cancellation, as well as conditions for reinstatement. They are legally required to (and do) mail cancellation notices, so if you did not receive them, that is likely a USPS/address issue.
I'm sorry that you felt that the communication you received from our agency was poor and unprofessional. At Elements Insurance, we pride ourselves on our proactive and responsive service. For example, unlike the insurance company, the agency is not required to notify you of cancellations, but we did so voluntarily to help keep your policy active. Further, in the last three months, we received no messages from you regarding any issues with your policy (no emails, voicemails, online requests, etc.). We did receive two calls outside of business hours (no voicemails) that were both promptly, proactively returned (these two calls were over 2 months apart). It was only when we proactively called you were we made aware of any issues, and as soon as we were finally made aware of them, we ensured they were resolved same day. - Moe M.Boston, MA5869316Mar 19, 2018
My insurance was so messed up that it was looking like a dead end for me and I have a job, a full time student and two kids. I got a quote from Arelis and was able to get my car insured. Only problem was because of my driving history (which was not my fault but that's a longer story and if they had Yelp for individual people in our lives I would have some stories to tell) but I had to pay the six months all at once. Luckily I had the money (it as pay day) and was able to get my car insured. Arelis was a God send.

This is the first time in my life that I enjoy selecting an insurance!
I just bought a new condo, and had no idea where to start. I had the chance to work with Arelis, who walked me through the entire process, selected the most efficient and cost effective coverage, all that after only a few phone calls and emails.
I can't recommend Element Insurance enough!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - D M.Everett, MA54102Jan 27, 2017
Martina Lee helped me with my auto insurance from A-Z, very professional, and extremely knowledgeable. I wish it was always this easy!

I would definitely choose Elements Insurance! Initially, I was with a different agency, but I did not like them because they were slow with replying back to my messages and outright rude.
So, I found Elements Insurance via YELP and since then, have switched over. I have been working with Yana and she is absolutely organized and prompt with replying back to her messages. She even replied while she was on vacation! I also like working strictly with email and would like everything done electronic and this company offers this! This makes my life easier and is so much convenient especially when I travel a lot.
The other positive about switching over, Yana explains coverage if you do not understand. She also recommends what coverage is needed and what should be removed.
Because of the superb customer service and prompt replies, I plan to move all my other insurance policies with Elements Insurance. This company does not waste your time!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Alicia B.Jamaica Plain, MA4513Jun 14, 2016First to Review
Been working with elements insurance and Yana to have my insurance switched. I have to say Yana has been the most helpful and patient representative I've ever had the pleasure of working with. She has gone out of her way to fully understand my needs and help me anyway she can, truly appreciate the outstanding customer service and glad to be a customer.

My sister was the one that referred me to Netfa when I was looking to get better insurance and I'm glad she did. He took care of me through the decision process and was very helpful in describing the benefits I would be getting. I would highly encourage anyone seeking insurance guidance to give him a call. His goal is to set you up with what's best for you and not to push just anything. He takes the time to explain everything and answered all my questions. I will definitely continue to go to him for my insurance needs.

Angie was great! Very personable/knowledgeable. She saved me at least $1500/yr on two cars I insure with her and Elements Insured, I highly recommend Angie and her team!

Worst mistake I ever made. They called me and offered me a quote gave me a price and as soon as I sign all the paper work they instantly raise my monthly by about 40$. Total scam. Spent about 3 months with them thinking they would give me what I was quoted and signed for and I decided to stop playing they're games and switched back to my old insurance. Biggest waste of money I have ever made!!!!! Never would want to deal with these scammers ever again. Elements insurance or MetLife policies they set me up with. The original person who called me and offered the scam never returned my calls and would avoid my calls and voicemails at all costs. 0 stars if I could.

This agent is associated with Access. Access is the biggest scam out there! They change your Payment dates every month and then charge you a $10 late fee! Go to any other insurance co. Out there!

As an independent agent, we partner with over a dozen insurance companies to provide the most options to meet the diverse needs of our clients, and Access/Occidental is one of our many insurance company partners. We choose our partners based on their financial ratings (e.g. AM Best), all being rated "excellent." As agents we are also the first point of contact with clients when questions or issues arise. Ultimately, though, an insurance policy is a contract with a specific insurance company, and each insurance company sets their own procedures and billing practices. We as agents have no control over these procedures, and are not involved in collecting premiums or generating bills. It seems this negative review is misplaced, as it does not appear that Elements Insurance contributed in any way to the negative experience described.
