calamari was soggy, chicken uncooked, flys all over the place, meat with not taste at all and blood all over, the server never ask details for the meat or any other dish that we ordered.
I don't recommend this place at all.
Quality service was awful...Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 284185107Mar 3, 2023
After a horrible experience at Angela's On The Beach, we returned to the mainland and tried to go to Matteo's but it was of course completely full.
We were still hungry, and this place was empty, so we went inside and I could grab a cocktail.
I had the Sangria. It was good.
I ordered Tiraditos Bicolor choosing Kalamata Olive and Ricotta. Awesome dish! It's a mix of ceviche and puree. Very pretty and the food grows on you as you eat it. It was definitely a learning experience for me, and I want more!
Someone else had the octopus ceviche and loved it. I tasted it and it was very good.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Stefanny S.Hollywood, FL15117Jul 15, 2023
I believe they have two locations. I've been to the one on the beach which needless to say has a great view!
I have mostly ordered from here on UberEats. Their ceviche is very good but my favorite dish is their chicken noodle soup. It's like no other chicken noodle soup I've had before!Their special ingredient: ginger. Who knew you needed ginger in a chicken noodle soup?! My absolute favorite dish from here especially when I'm feeling under the weather.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 2 - Feb 22, 2022
What a disappointment... as a fellow Peruvian I am just so sad this place exits.
We drove all the way from West Miramar to get picarones because a friend recommended this place to me. We ordered Tacu tacu con Camarones, tacu tacu con ajà de gallina and picarones as a dessert.
We paid $23 for the Seafood Tacu Tacu and we get watery tomato sauce and I received 2 tiny shrimps you find on the instant noodles. Go somewhere else, there are many more places that do better. The only good dish was the Tacu Tacu with Ajà de Gallina, it was creamy and had good flavor. Finally, the picarones was sooo dry and it tasted as it was made out of a box. I asked the waiter if they had a specific person making it and she told me there is a different chef on weekends... (we went on a Tuesday)
On top of that they are auto charging for 20% gratuity and charging 3.5% service fee on credit/debit cards. The restaurant should be paying for these. Not us customers.
I am not going back here again and wasting my money.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 2444923260Feb 1, 2022Updated review
Came to this place as it is well located near Locatel in Hallandale beach.
Wanted to try their Parijuela soup and actually it was quite good.... The seafood was generous and cooked "al dente" as it should be.... For me, needed more spices to give more flavor and maybe a little more consistency.... But not bad at all....
Also ordered a corvina ceviche that was also generous and quite tasty... maybe missing some spice to give it a better kick!!
My partner had the roasted chicken that looked very good...
They do have diet coke on a can which is much appreciated!!!
The place is clean and service was quite good....
Will come back!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Apr 30, 2016Previous reviewThis place is well located just next door from Locatel pharmacy!! This place has pretty good food, or at least the roasted chicken... The salad is ok, just ok... They have an outside terrace that overlooks the parking lot! Service could be much better...
The place is not as nice as it could be, it does need a make over... Also, it could be a notch cleaner...
All in all, this place is ok.

Very expensive place. We ordered just rice and soup and bottle of wine we paid $100. Service was terrible. The server broke the wine lid, the rest of the cork got into the wine.
