El Compadre Taqueria y Birrieria

I was in the area for work and didn't pick lunch figured some taquitos sound good . Since this was close by I figured Of given them a try. They are literally walking distance from where I was .

*Customer service was so so.
*Gentleman seemed like He was the only one working there took my order and also cooked the good . I Should of said never mind the moment he told me they be out in 5 mins .
* I asked for there spiciest salsa
*See if a Mexican CANT make a decent salsa they have no good food lol that's when they know they bomb !!! If yo salsa ain't thick and tasty they ain't it!! Lol
-there spicy salsa was not spicy it tasted like mustard I HATE MUSTARD
*other salsa were okay atleast seemed fresh
*MY FOOD WAS COLD !!
*lettuce seemed just thrown on there some of them are brown .
I will say they add. Good amount of AVOCADO !

1st time here and was pleasantly surprised. At first I didn't like the looks of their beans (very runny) but when I tasted them I changed my mind,very tasty. Rice was good and we really liked the chili sauce they use on the chilaquiles! Will come back again to try something else on the menu.

Walked and was helped right away. I ordered six tacos and some enchiladas. It's small Inside only Three tables around. The food was made in good time, about ten minutes. The service was good. Overall a pleasant experience. The food was good and the extra sauce they gave was super spicy I enjoyed it.

The Bírria de Chívo (Goat Stew) here is EXCELLENT! Authentic Guadalajara Style; other regions usually serve a Réz (Beef cut) variety. Prices are very reasonable. Staff is great. Place is very clean, considering its "hole in the wall" location. Highly recommend stopping by. The Tamaríndo drink is very refreshing. Menu has about 25 different, solid options from which to choose. And they serve homemade corn tortíllas!!

The menudo and tortaa ahugadas are delish and their tortillas are hand made. We come here at least once a month usuallt for the menudo as they only make it on the weekends and they sell out!

Disappointment. The birria de Chivo for a bowl was 12$. The meat was very very tough and unable to eat. Not even exaggerating. I've had birria de chivo before where the meat is literally falling off the bone. It appeared to me as a caldo de res by the appearance. It came with Handmade corn tortillas. We also ordered a sope de asada 6$, it came with lettuce, tomato, cheese, and avocado. We also had quesadilla de asada 9$ it came with lettuce,tomato, sour cream and radishes. Their asada was dry. They gave us a pasty green hot salsa which was pretty good. The salsa that came with the birria was good as well. Over all my family and I were not very pleased with the food and the prices. Our total was 47$ for the items listed above.

Small place but surprisingly really good! I will keep coming back for the caldo de res! So good! Plus, they give you handmade tortillas AND their spicy sauce is actually spicy..reasonable prices and great food!

Friendly service and delicious food. My favorites are green chilaquiles and the best menudo i've ever had.

First off, the food is pretty good. The place however is kind of clean I did find a hair in my enchiladas the time I ate there (gross). I don't know what happened with this place their food used to sooo delicious & tasty but they have slowly been decreasing in the taste of food. I do like that you can order on the phone & pay & pick up in the restaurant. I do enjoy the tacos de papa & the Pozole is good from here too.

This place is great! Ordered the Birria en caldo which was great. Not to mention the tortillas are hand made. Burritos are also really good!
