My go to Tacos spot. Friendly hospitality as well so definitely makes the tacos taste better. I usually get asada, tripas, and Al pastor. Tripas is nice and crispy too so that's always a plus.

I fly into LA almost 3-4 times every month, and the first thing I crave after landing are tacos, and El Abuelo Nacho is ALWAYS my first stop. Ever since I heard about this pop up taco truck, which is run by a fantastic husband and wife duo, it's become my place to go for tacos.
The meat is fresh, and cooked to order, prices are cheap, and the food is flavorful and fulfilling. It's a simple, no frills taco truck and highly recommend this to others who are in the area to try.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 35263294Jan 1, 2022
One word six letters.... PASTOR!!!! Such a nice legitimate Marinade I'm salivating just thinking about it. Oh and the salsas? ALL delightful, they have a green, a red and an avocado ! So tasty. Mulitas were so good and my overall rating is a 5 out of 5 tacos that aren't oily at all and you won't feel guilty for eating a few. I think the only thing missing is cebollas doradas

UPDATE: I ate here twice this week because I'm still in love with the MULITAS here!

I was searching restaurants that are open past 11 PM near me, and I found the listing for El Abuelo Nacho, and decided to give it a try.
You have GOT to try the MULITAS, which are amazinggg and only $2.50 each! Based on a tip from another Yelper, I ordered a carne asada mulita and asked the super nice guy behind the grill to make the asada crispy. Dayummmmmm SO GOOD.
The crispy crunch of the flavorful Asada, paired with the soft melted cheese and the warm, crispy corn tortilla make this thing absolutely perfect!
On the table outside, they have three different sauces that you can try. I'm absolutely in love with the avocado sauce... it's not guacamole, it's a bit thinner. Nevertheless, the flavor of the avocado really comes through, combined with a slightly tart flavor that must be lemon or something like that.
The guy behind the grill (the owner?) was super nice and welcomed me to his taco stand, and to the area.
What an awesome experience from a taco stand... I can't wait to come back to this place! - Reginald B.Los Angeles, CA0135Oct 8, 2022
Like one yelper wrote the tacos are not to oily. As I use to live in Koreatown, these tacos can hold their own to the tacos stands out in L.A. I really like how the condiments & sauces are kept refrigerated and not out in the open for people to cough on or bugs to land on. There in a parking lot with parking for up to maybe 7 cars and there is also side street parking. Will be a constant regular for me

I found this taco place randomly through Yelp. It has because one of my favorite taco places. They are really fast. I alway get the pollo tacos because they are my favorite. If you are looking for a fast and delicious taco place, this is it!

Well seasoned, quality ingredients, not super oily. If you're craving tacos this place will definitely hit the spot.

Alright, decided to give this spot one last chance before adding it to my "Never Returning" list, and sadly last night was the law straw.
I 1000% understand that due to covid, restaurants have suffered, and perhaps that is the reason why they had to increase their prices. However, there was an exaggerated small amount of meat on both the tacos, and the Torta we got. The torta was literally just bread, beans and avocado.
It sucks that customers have to be the ones getting jipped. Increase your prices more if you have to, but don't do that to the meat of the food, it's ridiculous.
Will NOT be coming here.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Dec 4, 2020Previous reviewSadly, I have to change my rating. I have been going to this taco stand for years now. We use to order every single weekend. However, their service has since changed. Bummer, because I tried supporting the businesses that I truly loved before this crazy pandemic hit.
First, the meat that they put on their food went down by at least half. At that point, just raise the prices if that helps, but barely putting meat on the food seems wrong. However, I feel like I could honestly get past that, what I couldn't get passed is the lady up front. The last 3 times we were there, she was just rude (when asking for salsas). Sorry, but I would rather take my business elsewhere where it's appreciated at least. Will not be back here.Mar 24, 2019Previous reviewThis place has the best tacos in the valley! Their salsas are also the business. The only thing is that I wish they would be there before 7 pm because I would surely go here for lunch as well. Great food, worth the wait.

Food was delicious and service amazing. I have been to a decent amount of taco stands and trucks but this one really stood out. The food was not greasy, such good quality.
