Came again for DDay at their Imax.
Screen was smaller than expected compared to hollywood and Irvine Imax.
But came with friends and the theater did a bts album giveaway and welcomed us.
They even handed out candy after the show.
I think that was super cool and fun of them!
They didnt have anymore of the exclusive merch compared to other theaters so I hope they can get some more buying power next time.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0Feb 7, 2023Previous reviewScreenX for sure.
Went to watch BTS YTC last minute and yass it was so good.
Altho there was a broken chair in our theater which was kinda weird.
But it didn't get in the way of my enjoyment.
Screen x is soooo good! - P B.Los Angeles, CA16335Apr 9, 2024
Sorry for taking so long to write this review.
I have always enjoyed coming to this theater. This time, I came desperate and in need of caring assistance on August 16, 2022, because I had been having a really difficult time getting my car towed with AAA.
I had been on my way to work, just before 2pm when my car died and needed a tow. I contacted AAA, and they sent a person out to assist me. Unfortunately, the person they sent had a nasty attitude, argued with me and the people at the car dealership that was waiting for us to arrive. He got upset and left me just off of the freeway. So, I reported the issue with AAA and filed a complaint. But, they were very busy and left me out in the middle of nowhere for hours.
It was about 9pm now, and my phone had died with all of the calling, messaging, etc. I needed to use the restroom and call AAA so that I could see how much longer I would have to wait for assistance.
I entered the theater praying that someone there would care and be nice enough to let me use the restroom and a phone. I was lucky enough to encounter Leo at Customer Service. He let me use the restroom and then use his phone to call AAA. I am very grateful to Leo for being a great caring person when I needed it most. He is definitely the type of person you want representing a company like Edward's.
I hope he is a manager or higher by now. He is the person you want in charge, and he has earned it.
Thank you again!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kate S.Montebello, CA04624Apr 4, 2024
Old school theater, I wish they had self serve drink like AMC. staff is chill and friendly- especially the older gentleman taking tickets. We were at the last showing and my daughter realized she left her purse there, called the next morning and they had her purse for her. Thankful for the honest staff.

First time watching a movie here and it was great! Bought my tickets online so it was quick getting inside. A staff member quickly scanned our QR codes and directed us to the correct theater.
Ambiance was nice with dim lighting both in the hallways and inside the theater. Restrooms were big with lots of stalls. Theater was clean, and we had no issues with our assigned seats. I would come back here again if it's closer to me.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 560182192Jun 27, 2023
My first experience here hasn't been the best. It was simply alright. I was in theater 12 with two other people and they didn't have the most up to date reclining chairs, just the ones that tilt back. That I can deal with.
What I really didn't like about the theater was just how disgusting the bathroom was. I could see the floors but I went into 5 different women's stalls and they were all full of pee and toilet paper. Stuff like that really just makes me not want to come back if possible.
I did appreciate that there is a whole other parking garage next to it so I never have to worry about parking before the movie.Helpful 3Thanks 3Love this 1Oh no 3 - 9146313Apr 9, 2023
It hurts to leave this review for such a nostalgic location of mine, having grown up in the area and attended one of the local high schools. What was once an orderly and well maintained facility has sadly gone downhill over the recent years it appears.
To be clear, this is not a review of the employees who were great conversationalists while delivering quality service for such a high volume set of customers. Despite all the chaos around them - much of which I'm sure they're not even getting compensated for appropriately - the staff impressively held their own.
Of the most glaring disappointments to no fault of the staff was:
- a food concession stand that took 15+ minutes to get to the front with just 6 parties separating you (why allow this stand to ALSO serve as a ticket buying booth? Big logistics question here)
- the lack of seat personal seat space as well as space separating you from the person sitting next to you
- the same old fabric lining the movie theater seats that felt grimy and overall, uncomfortable to sit in for long periods of time as it fought you to maintain an unnatural upright sitting postureHelpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 1 - Cameron S.Alhambra, CA0111Nov 24, 2023
Regal Edwards movie theater. It holds such sentimental value for alhambrams. Countless memories were made in those dimly lit theaters, from the excitement of midnight premieres to the joy of family movie nights. The atmosphere was always electric, with the smell of buttery popcorn and the anticipation of seeing the latest blockbusters. The comfortable seats and state-of-the-art sound systems truly enhanced the cinematic experience. Although times have changed and technology has advanced, I will forever cherish the nostalgia that the Regal Edwards movie theater brings. Thank you for providing a place where so many cherished moments were created. Lol lol. The movies is the movies now! Nothing special. Room temperature popcorn and room temperature movies

We were here recently as we had some time to kill and we were in the area. It's been so long since I've been to this theater. It used to be my stomping grounds in my younger years.
Edwards in Alhambra has been around forever! They used to be at the Atlantic and Main Street corner, then moved to this current location. It works out great as there is much more retail on this side. So much has changed in Alhambra and for the better!
This movie theater has now been here for a long while and ready for a makeover! The seats are stadium seating, but not very comfortable and kinda cramped. I got used to being spoiled in the AMC love seat loungers!
Box office is outside the theater going into the plaza area.
Restrooms are kept pretty clean.
Consessions are the usual overpriced snacks and drinks. They have a regular Pepsi fountain, so you have to get refills with the cashiers.
Service was quick and friendly.
Parking is available in the structure behind the theater. I love that Downtown Alhambra parking is free!Helpful 32Thanks 1Love this 19Oh no 0 - Nov 12, 2022
It was my 1st time at this theater and I was shocked as how ultra clean everything was inside the theater and restrooms... My old drill Sargent would have been excited LOL!!!
The staff were very nice and helpful the concessions were fairly priced and they were quick to take your order and get your food..
They have a small arcade to keep you or the kiddos occupied while you wait for tye movie to start.
You can order tickets by app or online and if you register with rhier rewards program you get good discounts on food... you can also buy and send tickets to friends and family which is a super neat aspect to membership rewards...
If your in Alhambra having lunch or dinner and what something else to do a definite must!!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mar 12, 2022
I basically grew up with this theater, it's located right on Main Street, and surrounded by delicious eateries and shops.
They have parking right behind the theater, as well as on the streets. They have special pricing on tickets depending on the day, and it looks retro on the inside.
Like I said, I grew up with this theater, and it hasn't really changed since then. The seats are the same, the theater is the same, and they haven't done much to keep up with all the various amenities you can find in theaters now a days, such as 3DX or reclining seats. But it gets the job done, and I'm happy with my experience.
Great location cause you can go to a dinner and a movie all in one shot and all in all, it's a good theater.Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0
