Eastside Grill

Another trip back to the eastside grill.... We started with a dozen oysters and the gorgonzola bread between 3 people. The gorgonzola bread is always a hit. The oysters not so much this time. Out of the dozen we left 4 on the plate due to the oyster liquor being pretty viscous. Granted it was a Sunday, next time I'll find out the day(s) that the oysters are received and order appropriately.

For my main I had the shrimp genevieve and it was great. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the garlic, shallots, pepper, and spinach a great accompaniment to the pasta.

I loved our evening here. Have to say, our waiter (woman) was a complete hoot, and I believe there is a drink named after here at the Grill. Food tasty
We were not rushed (we were visiting with old friends whom we haven't seen in a long time, so that was important).
The food we all ate was great, but I waited too long to write this review. Now, I cannot tell you what the dishes were.

Just ate here with a very large group of people and the staff were so accommodating and thoughtful when splitting the checks... plus, the food was fabulous! Classic, but uber-flavorful with a seafood twist! Fun appetizers: I especially enjoyed the potato cakes and spicy gumbo :)))

Started with friendly hostess and went into very nice and professional server named Maddi. sat on upper porch .
Lovely feeling with a nice breeze.
Mocktails were great . for dinner we had shrimp and scallop dish and a pasta with shrimp and balsamic in a light sauce ..both were excellent
But the real reason we would come again is the service .,

Just getting started! Ordered the Gorgonzola Bread! Amazing! I love garlic and cheese! This was delicious. Also had the jumbo shrimp cocktail as a appetizer. Shrimp was fresh as well as being jumbo as they advertised. Entrees were 14 oz Pork Chop with vinegar reduction. Pot Chop era very tender and flavorful.

The waitress was very nice, but I will never go back. I had to send back burnt soup, and the entree was terrible. The owner was extremely rude. As soon as our bill was paid, she approached our table and told us we had been there too long and we needed to leave. She was extremely rude. When my friend said something to her, she was told by the owner that she didn't care and to leave a Yelp. She said there is an hour and 40 min time limit, and we had been there two hours. We had just finished after our reservation was messed up. So here is the Yelp! Awful awful owner, awful food, you will be timed and kicked out as soon as you pay your bill.

What has happened to one of my favorite restaurants? The space and service are still the same- very good, but the food was a bit disappointing.
The chicken and beef were not tender and overcooked, but the flavor was good. The vegetables and salads were okay. The rolls were several days old and like rocks. The frosting on the cakes were great, however the cake seemed very dry, old?
The other disappointment was that the website and FB have listed a menu that is not up to date. I had a few ideas for dinner but they had changed. For example the cod listed online is with a crab cream sauce, but it has changed to a lemon poppyseed cod. I realize that menus change, but please update. I was wondering why the restaurant was so empty, it's usually full at 6:00.

This is a classic restaurant which has remained reliable over the many years since it first opened- and it's thriving. Lively without being noisy, it has a good menu, and a very attentive staff. We both ordered seafood dishes, and the seafood was very tasty- though one of the dishes contained reheated pasta, the risotto was quite good. The location is great.

All the servers stand outside and don't wait on their tables. Since they're outside they don't care and just chat with each other. It's been an hour and a half and still no food.

Thank you Eastside grill for one of the best anniversary dinners my spouse and I have ever had! From the apps to the entrees the food and service was far and away the best we have ever experienced in the Pioneer Valley. Eastside is a must if you live in or are visiting the Pioneer Valley!
