Erin did my family photos and my business photos and she did a great job. Not only did my photos turn out absolutely beautifully, her professionalism and great personality made it a comfortable to be in a photo sitting. I will always refer Erin for any photography business!

We had our maternity and newborn photos done by Erin back in 2008. I'm willing to bet we are, to this date, one of the stiffest bunches she's ever photographed and the results were pretty amazing! She made us feel at ease and the shoot was pretty straightforward and quick, which are great adjectives to a shoot if you are not all the way comfortable in front of the camera. We received our book in a timely manner and forever will cherish those images!

Erin does amazing work and we are so pleased with the quality of our portraits! She is one of the best photographers in this area and we wouldn't trust anyone else to do our family portraits. She is highly recommended!

My tastefully risqué session with Erin of E-n-E Photography was done professionally and the final result came out better than I could have ever imagined. Erin took her time to make me comfortable before, during and after the session. The communication was fantastic and she really captured it exactly how I wanted. Her studio is spacious, private and professional with plenty of back drops and props. I recommend E-n-E Photography to anyone who would like tasteful and sexy photo shoot with a professional photographer.

you are right!
Yes, you are right, I did love the pictures you showed me on the computer.. Almost every image was a perfect shot (that's 2 people 3 dogs and a horse, mind you;) I was excited to see the Christmas cards. After all, that was the only reason for doing the shoot! I don't see why 3 dogs and a horse are anymore complicated to photograph than a large family or babies, it was the easiest shoot ever... Even the second photographer I hired after you was amazed by how well behaved they were, we had a great time working together and got fabulous images, so no luck was needed from you;) Sorry you had 'difficulty?' capturing us. I think the only difficult one was you, barking orders at everyone, even your own 'assistant' (who you actually introduced to us as you husband) Yes, this is the same 'assistant' that 'hand delivered my cards' (actually he just dropped them off at my house on his way to work right down the street from me, which was very nice of HIM to do because you were to busy giving me the run around.)
Yes, you are right, I liked the pictures that I was shown on the computer so much that I wanted to order prints. BUT, I wanted to see the Christmas cards BEFORE I committed to ordering any prints, so I could see the quality of the printing. It wasn't my fault the cards took longer than expected to be delivered and that the first set was awful quality and needed to be returned.
Yes, I was upset by the quality of the first set of cards, so after voicing my opinion you agreed with me and begrudgingly reordered a second set. At this point I was STILL hesitant to purchase very expensive prints judging by the quality of your past work (very dark and grainy low quality cards) Also, you kept mentioning the services that I was interested in 'aren't offered' by your printing company, but yet for some reason you can still manage to get them done? That's strange.
Yes, you are right, the second set were better than the first but still in no way 'perfect' as you claim I said. I can assure you they were not perfect. They were also a bit dark and blurry, but at that point I just wanted to be done with the Christmas cards and get them mailed out (mind you I didn't get them until the week before Christmas which was only one week away at this point) So not worth complaining about.Yes, I was upset with the misleading prices and mentioned it to you in an email (far from 'reaming you' as you claim I did haha) You agreed that they were misleading and apologized.
Then the final straw:Yes, YOU DID decide to vent on your personal Facebook page (that I actually took a screenshot photo on my phone BEFORE you deleted it from your wall because I was so shocked a professional businesswoman would do something so childish ... would you like me to refresh your memory about what was said...?) So, to now to lie on here and say you didn't post it.. Wow.
Yes, you are right, THAT is when I decided to cancel my order. No, I will not spend that much money on pictures that I am unsure how they will turn out once printed judging from your previous printing attempts. And especially not with someone so rude that makes comments about me... on Facebook of all places. Grow up. (Speaking of Facebook, I find it funny that right after I posted my honest review on here you felt the need to go to your Facebook, once again, this time bribing people with a free mini session if they write a positive review about you... Interesting.)
Also, just to make it VERY clear, I referred a friend long BEFORE our shoot even took place, and immediately after our shoot I texted her that she may want to reconsider because I thought you were rude, but unfortunately it was to late for her to cancel since she had already paid a deposit. Her experience is a whole other story!
So bottom line: Yes, you are right that I loved many of the images you showed me on the computer, but you are also right that I did not value the work that you showed me with the printed cards. I also did not value the way I felt I was treated. I was not about to shell out that amount of money for what I consider low quality printing (with seemingly very limited printing options) I would rather just take my money elsewhere and re-do the shoot, which I did. Thank you for my refund, and also for deleting all of the images. That was very professional of you. So in the end it all worked out for the best because we re-did the shoot finally got a beautifully printed family portrait for my husband before he deploys;) Five stars for that!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

I am finally finding a little bit of time to add an owner's comment to Ms. B's review.
Let me tell my side of the story- In September I met Ms. B for the first time. At this meeting, she paid just $150 for an outdoor session with FOUR animals (that's 3 dogs and a horse, mind you) & her husband PLUS it included a set of 25 custom designed cards and 20% off gift prints on the day of her Preview appointment. That same day, I showed her the price menu, explained it in detail including how the gift prints work- Set of 4-4x6's are of the same image. I spent the time to go out to her chosen location in the beginning of October to scope out where we'd be doing the photos at, (at no extra charge) -Her actual session was at the end of October, I went and photographed her and her 'family' with my assistant who was witness to it all- The Session went fantastic, she couldn't wait to see the photos.
Beginning of November- she came for her Preview appointment- she loved every one of them- wanted so many- but wanted her husband to see them too. She chose three images for her Christmas Cards at this appointment and nothing else. Policy is that their proofs will go online for 1 week after the Preview Session. I explained again how the pricing worked and gave her a copy of the gift print pricing. She told me about how her last photographer was only 16 and gave her the disc. I told her she was lucky. Her proofs Gallery was online for two weeks, instead of just one, and she still hadn't ordered. She lost the pricing we gave her, so we sent it to her again by email - explained it again by phone- that a SET of 4 -4x6's must be of one image. She wanted to purchase one 1-4x6 of each image. At the time, that was not an option
Her cards came, still no order, and she had a problem with the Christmas cards. I re-ordered them immediately, no questions asked in a finish that was not an option. The evening the new cards were received, I sent my assistant over to her home to hand deliver them. She said she was happy- that the new cards were 'perfect'. At no point in all these months did she indicate that she was less than thrilled with the photos. She was still wanting 1-4x6 of 1-image- We didn't offer that at the time- but we updated the pricing to offer it and accomodate her wishes. She didn't like that price.
Finally after yet another round of explanations via email & phone, explaining why the set of 4-4x6's must be of the same image- in mid-December- she ended decided to get 1-8x10, again in a finish we don't offer, wants it rushed and sent to Louisiana. She gave me the credit card number to get it ordered. Then, when I invoice her for that 1-8x10- she sends me a return email reaming me for not giving her what she wanted in the first place- 8 separate images for the price of 2-sets of 4x6's- Again, she could purchase 8 individual images paid at the individual image pricing- but that wasn't acceptable. She accused me of not honoring the "customer is always right' policy. In the end- Ms. B. cancelled that 8x10 as well, claiming something about my personal facebook? Right. She already received the set of 25 Christmas cards- actually a set of 50 because she was happy enough to refer a friend to us. In the end, I was quite aware, there was no making her happy. I couldn't possibly give her what she wanted because I would lose more money than I already had so far.
Should I have given her her way? No- because we have policies set in place for a reason. I have never had anyone complain about the gift print sets of the same image nor about me being unprofessional. I believe I went above & beyond, bending over backwards to please this client-I just couldn't give her the one thing she demanded only after she decided to purchase 1-8x10. When you order more of one image- it costs the studio less thus I'm able to pass the savings on to my clients. This is why we offer it.
The studio opted to refund her the $150 she originally paid and even extended the offer to keep the images on file if she decided to still order from them. In the end she got all those cards at no charge plus the session and all the other meetings and time involved at no charge. She accepted the money and I haven't heard from her since.
Unfortunately, while we know that Ms. B loved many images from her session- it comes down to value. She did not value what we offer. E-n-E Photography, Inc. is a business which involves MANY costs. To succeed we must charge appropriately. I can only afford clients who value high quality portraiture.
It saddens me to delete all these images from her session. One image does remain on my facebook page. Ms. B is a gorgeous gal- I still love the fantastic images we created. The family portrait was not easy to capture-but it was beautiful and now she doesn't even have that. All, I can say is, I wish her and her next photographer good luck in the future.Dec 18, 2011Previous reviewReview
I would just like to give my review of the experience I had with Erin Clark. I won't deny she is a great photographer, but she is the most unprofessional photographer I have ever worked with. I contacted her to do our annual Christmas card pictures. From the beginning she was very weird discussing prices. For example, when I asked out of curiosity how much is a 4x6 print would be if I decided to buy a few prints along with my cards she literally threw a price book at me and told me to look on page so and so. I was a bit put off from the beginning but figured $150 for a photo session and Christmas cards would be worth it. I was wrong, this has been the most unpleasant experience. On the day of the shoot she was extremely rude to a friend I had brought along to help me with my dogs and horse. Erin was barking orders at her like she was her own assistant. When I saw the pictures they were great. Although I was confused as to why she chose to make certain photos black and white when it was already established that the christmas card was going to be in color. I pointed that out to her and she seemed offended and very rudely told me that it would be a $20 charge per picture to change them back to color. I told her the words black and white never came out of my mouth and I'm not paying to change something that I never asked for in the first place. She 'waived that fee'. When I got my cards I was so disappointed. They looked awful. They were so dark you couldn't even see the dogs faces, they were printed on some sort of cheap linen paper with lines all through our faces and looked like they were done on a home printer. I thought for sure she hadn't even looked at them herself because no photographer would want their name on such a low quality work. Surprisingly she said she had seen them and again seemed offended that I would speak up and say I wasn't happy with them. She did offer to reprint them at no extra cost but by the time I got the second set back it was already dec 15 and even the second set were still a bit dark but not worth complaining about. She also said for the inconvenience she would have my return address printed on the envelopes of the second set to save me some time, I thought that was very nice of her to do. Well she didn't actually go through with it and when I asked why her response was that it was an extra cost and she just didn't do it.. Umm ok, then don't say you will. Final straw came when I decided (against my better judgment) to order a few prints as Xmas gifts, the pricing in the book she gave me and also the price list that her assistant emailed me was very misleading (she even agreed that it was confusing and offered to correct her wording!) but she still refused to honor her mistake and charge me the price that was written. All of this could have been avoided if at the very beginning she would have verbally gone over pricing with me as I asked and not thrown a book at me. So now instead of paying $120 for eight 4x6 prints I would be paying $300. I was very nervous spending this type of money on prints seeing as how the last ones turned out. She also started up again with the extra charges (this time telling me it was a $20 extra charge for a glossy photo, but again since I spoke up she would 'waive this for me'?) I became so annoyed with this whole process I wrote her an email saying I was very disappointed and upset with the way I was treated. Instead of writing me back and apologizing like a professional what does she do!?! She ignores my email goes on her Facebook wall and airs it out there, saying I would regret emailing that to her. If that doesn't prove my point that she is completely unprofessional I don't know what does. I finally just emailed her back saying that I am no longer interested in purchasing anything from her and to please cancel my order which is a shame because it was actually a very nice picture that my husband would have really liked to have before he deploys. And to everyone who has had a wonderful experience with her that is great and I wish I could have had the same:( - Elissa V.Santa Rita, Guam081Apr 3, 2014
Choosing a photographer is a tricky business. So many variables go into the big decision of who to hire, and when I was planning our wedding, I had no clue where to even begin. To help with the decision, my (now) husband says to me, "I have a family friend who is a photographer. She lives in Virginia Beach, and I want her to photograph our wedding". Our wedding was held in Washington State, so I was immediately put off by the idea. I told him I would call this family friend, and go from there (just to humor him, of course). Within 30 seconds of speaking with Erin on the phone, I knew she was "the one" for me and all my photography needs. She agreed to pack everything up and fly out to Washington to be our wedding photographer. To say that we enjoyed working with Erin would be an understatement! I have never had more fun taking photos, which is normally a very awkward activity for me. The images she captured are beyond amazing. I don't think there are even words to describe what we see and feel every time we look at one of her photos. She is incredibly talented. She managed a wedding party of 18 people (obnoxious, I know), and did it with patience, professionalism, and a smile. Most of the wedding party left wanting to be her friend! We had an absolute blast with her, but more than that, we have a lifetime of memories to look at, captured impeccably by Erin. The quality of her work is unparalleled, even to my untrained eye. I recommend her to any and everyone. I can't wait for more events to occur in my life that we can hire E-n-E Photo to photograph!
