Well Jody is gone. This place is full of caddy people who have nothing better to do now than talk about everyone.
You would think in today's time of customer service that people that own a business would appreciate and be kind to their customers that spend money with them,
Well they don't here anymore.
Disappointed :(Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Mar 6, 2013Previous reviewI cant wait for boating season!!! Jody at this place is very nice and friendly. See her to get your slip for your boat. They also offer dry storage...

I dry dock my boat there.
Every employee is eager to help.
The place is efficient and very well run.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Steven F.Hendersonville, TN686Apr 2, 2017
Awful customer service. They just work whenever it's convenient for them and hold your boat hostage. May call to get boat splashed and it not happen until they get around to it. Keep raising rates every year.
We pay a premium but get little care in return.
Odd for a business that leases access to public land to treat people so poorly.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jennifer R.Hendersonville, TN10932Apr 10, 2017
New owner, got a new manager, Who is rude and is, a total Ass hole, who has no respect for the for the boat owners and their guest.. I have supported and been a friend of Drake's Creek Marina for over 35yrs. Until they get new management, I will never recommend them again!

I love the convenience of Drakes Creek Marina. Located in Hendersonville on Old Hickory Lake, Drakes Creek is a serious, full service marina in every sense of the word. They have everything to offer visitors and seasoned boaters. They offer several great services here such as boat sales and service, storage (both in slips and in dry storage, with a giant crane, and hysterical "crane crossing" sign, to move your boat to the water), and financing options, as well as being a great place to gas up if you're already out on the water. They also have a handy dock store if you need anything (that you might have forgotten) on the gas dock. The staff here are some of the friendliest I have met at marinas. They are very smart and very helpful and know their way around the docks. Drakes is admittedly smaller, or at least a little more packed, than some of the other marinas around the lake but despite its smaller size and the hub of activity going on, people here know what they are doing and they do a great job at it. This is a great place to stop for gas or to store your boat...or purchase one. Drakes Creek really has all the options and services any lakesider could want. If you have a boat and are looking to store, I would contact them about leasing options (sidenote: they can only store pontoons in slips, not dry storage). If you are in the market for a new or used boat, they have fantastic people that can help you find the best boat for you. Again, they are busy here, but they don't slack on good service.
