Terry N.PA, PA12May 4, 2022Updated reviewI will not go to this Dollar General again. We visited at about 10 am. Boxes were blocking all aisles, We could not push our cart down any aisle. If there was a fire, it would be disastrous for the store and those people inside. The manager was usually outside smoking and talking to the vendor rather than inside doing her job. I think my mother-in-law should own stock in Dollar General for all the times I stop there for her. Like most places, this area has become filled with dollar type stores. DG does not follow their name. Prices can be almost anything, although they're supposed to be discounted.
They do have some things I can't locally in regular stores. I got some peanut butter stuffed pretzels pillows today. OK, a little comfort food snack to help pass the days before we can leave this place and get back to Las Vegas thanks to the Christmas Blizzard of 2010.
The prices are OK. I still think these places take advantage of people. If you buy the same product at Walmart or on sale at Albertsons or somewhere like that, you'd be paying less. They are conveniently located, which is their main draw.
