Q:
Has anyone spent NEW YEAR's EVE HERE ? Activities? Anything special ? I booked for New Years but I am not sure if it will be festive. Any pics and stories would be so helpful ! Thank you !
A:
Yes, i spent last New Year's at Saratoga Springs. In addition to any hotel events, the adjacent Disney Springs area will have festivities that you should be able to walk to from the resort.

We arrived late Monday, 11/20/23 in the evening and planned to stay for Thanksgiving week. The lobby was pretty much empty, but a cast member came out to greet us. We checked in and were shown where our Deluxe Studio was located on the map. It was a short walk from the lobby. We came for 5 nights, including 4, one day park tickets and we paid $5,790.
This property is beautiful and huge. There's lots of water surrounding the property, 4 stories per building, 2 pools, a few eating places and a few bus stops with shuttles arriving every few minutes heading to each theme park.
The studio is somewhat small, but very nice, which is why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. My little family of 4 includes my husband, myself and a 10 and 7 year old. I love the wooden floors! The room includes the queen sized bed (wish it was a king size), a couch that turns into a Murphy bed, a mini kitchenette, a bathroom area, large closet, additional storage, large TV, large dresser and night stands. The balcony was small, but did the job. Our room was on the 3rd floor overlooking one of the pools.
The AC worked well, there was a quiet fan and jacket hooks by the front door. The decor was clean and classic. Lots of horse references on this property. There were also lots of friendly staff on the property greeting us.
During the day we could appreciate the natural beauty of this resort. There's a golf course and a ferry to Disney Springs. There's a cool bridge over one of the lakes to get from the lobby area to our area; The Paddock. There's so much to do here!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Apr 21, 2024
It's a great location walking to Disney Springs. Rooms are large and the grounds are lovely. The casual dining is actually quite good and is a place you do want to eat. Kudos to them providing almond milk at the coffee bar instead of you having to ask for it behind the counter. Rooms are well appointed.

This is a lovely Disney property where recently stayed in a few times.
A walking distance to Disney Springs
Quiet environment, clean and beautiful premises.
The pool is amazing and has sliders and plenty of space for laying on the lounges
If you like golf, there is a manicured course adjacent to the property.
The themed restaurant has highlights that will worth a separate review.
The lobby has different settings to relax, sit and chat, have the children to play and watch Disney cartoons, the merchandise area is full of surprises and adjacent to the Artist Palette, a café where you can find from a coffee to an healthy salad or panini (tried both and made my tummy feel happier and satisfied)
My only but is the room service that might to be as efficient as expected, some items not available and limited to the options given (for example they do not offered raw sugar and dairy creamer) also the vending machine and ice are located most to one side of the building instead of centered location making to cross the entire area if you are on the wrong side of the building
Overall, this is a beautiful property.

Absolutely love this property. It's so large that is provides plenty of nice walking paths but is also quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the parks. The rooms are comfortable and most have either great views of the golf course or Disney Springs. With multiple pools and boat transportation to Disney Springs there is so much to do!

The resort also has a wonderful walking path and multiple pools. We've stayed in the Grandstand and Congress Park and enjoyed both rooms for different reasons. There is a quick service and a sit down restaurant, Turf Club up near the lobby but with Disney Springs so close by you never have a shortage of places to eat. We also love the ability to take boats to other resorts. Our favorite parts are the multiple pool areas and the walking path. Such a wonderful and relaxing resort.

I enjoyed my stay at the resort very much!
The resort is a little confusing to navigate, but once you get the hang of it, it's a wonderful place to have a vacation. Between the gift shop and the cafeteria, you can easily meet a lot of your last-minute vacation needs without leaving the grounds.
The pools are lovely, with activities for adults and kids alike. And there's a lot of places to walk and get some exercise. We also loved seeing all the Disney horses painted in the lobby for an extra fun touch!
My only complaint is that our app didn't work at all, even after three visits to the front desk. But as an apology, we were given fast passes to five of the most difficult rides in Hollywood Studios to get on, so it more than made up for the inconvenience.Helpful 0Thanks 2Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jul 27, 2023
I love Saratoga Springs because of its convenient location. If you get a room in congress park, you can easily walk to Disney Springs. A lot of fun things is happening there. I enjoyed shopping and dining in Disney Springs. Access to 4 parks was good. Bust comes very often. Takes about 10-15 mins to any park.
The only thing I didn't like was that workers kept knocking our door although "do not disturb" tag was hanged on our door.
Overall, we enjoyed our time in Disney's Saratoga Springs!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 1, 2023
Okay this resort is very unique in the best way. I will happily unpack the pros and cons of everything with this resort.
This resort is divided into 6 different sections. Yes this resort is that massive.
1. The Springs-This is the closest location to the main restaurants and the front desk. All of these rooms are a short walk to the main part of the hotel.
2. The Grandstand- this is walkable to the front desk area but is on the far side a bit. However most of the time the bus back to the hotel, this was the first stop. Yes you might be further but you also get the first stop.
3. The carousal- this is a smaller area located near one of the entrances into the hotel. You are a bit of a walk from any food and drinks.
4. The paddocks- This area has its own food and a great pool. It actually directly connects to the springs area via a bridge that cuts through a lake.
5. Congress Park- great location if you want to be near Disney Springs. It's technically far from the front desk but also very close to everything in Disney springs.
6. The treehouses- these are wonderful! Almost all of them are either walkable to the grandstand bus stop or near a boat dock.
This hotel also have 5 pools. The two biggest ones are near the springs and paddock sections. However the grandstand, congress park, and treehouses all have small pools. The larger pools do get very crowded. So those smaller pools are honestly gems.
With this being such a massive hotel, it means a lot of walking. Yes it has an internal bus system. However if your room is not right next to that bus, you will need to walk a decent distance.
The food will not blow you away here but it's also not bad. With this hotel's proximity to Disney Springs, it means you have a ton of options for food. You can take a boat, bus, or walk to Springs for fun and entertainment.
The rooms are very large. With this being a DVC property, you will get that full kitchen set up. You also will have a washer and dryer in your room.
Overall if you are looking for a hotel in a phenomenal location that's 10-15 minutes from every theme park, then this is for you. This hotel also has incredibly beautiful grounds that will blow your mind.
I would recommend this hotel to everyone.Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 0 - Aug 13, 2023
Great resort. A buddy is a Disney Vacation Club member and he is kind enough to bring a group of guys annually for a 3 day golf trip.
We always have a blast playing golf for 3 days and hanging around Downtown Springs - formerly Downtown Disney. The room is a 2 bed 2 bath suite with kitchenette. While the beds are comfortable, the couch and dinette is built to last - in other words, not really comfortable. I'm sure they don't really want you hanging out in your room as you won't be spending any money.
Excellent place to crash and just enough amenities to make breakfast.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - Nov 4, 2023
This is a great place for pictures, Disney Vacation Club rooms, and a great place to eat. Besides the amazing rooms, I think my favorite part is that I can sit in the area between the lobby and the quick service and work on my computer and even take emergency meetings at the table.
