I definitely recommend this to anyone with littles. We took our little when she was 11 months old and she really enjoyed it. It does have loud musics / noises and lots of lights, so if you little is prone to sensory overload, maybe not for them.

Heads up that this is floor seating only, so be ready to sit all the way down and maybe never get back up HAHAHA! I was surprised at it, but honestly it was great to let her get on the floor and get her wiggles out. She really liked being loose and able to crawl / dance around.

We did fast passes so we were able to get seats in the middle close to the front. I like how they walk through the audience areas so every seat is a good seat really.

      Overall: A+
Great show for little ones, be sure to note this is floor seating - so older persons may not want to do this one.

On Friday,  Nov 17th, my family and I anxiously walked into the Acrisure Arena to partake in the Disney Junior Live: Costume Palooza. Once we purchased all of our treats and souvenirs for our boys,  we headed down to the floor to our front row seats. I was so excited and could not wait for our boys to be in the front,  up close to the Disney gang,  I mean, this is why I purchased them.  Once the show began, we noticed that our view was obstructed by a black curtain in which we figured for sure the curtain would open fully.  To our disbelief, our entire view was obstructed. As any young child who sees Mickey Mouse in person,  my boys were excited to see him on stage, but not really because they couldn't see him fully! We let the boys get up from their seat and walk closer to the stage.  While my companion and I were sitting in our seats with no view,  we weren't able to capture the excitement on their faces.  During the show, others who did NOT have front row/floor seats went to the front with their children and proceeded to stand up and block our view. We are extremely disappointed in the amount of money we spent for front row seats to only have the worst seats in the arena.

Very cute show featuring the characters from the four main shows on Disney junior but they do need to update this show a bit because it's been the same for years and they have updated the programming on Disney junior. It's definitely good for younger children who really enjoy seeing Mickey and his friends, Sophia, Doc Mcstuffins and Jake. I understand why they do it but everyone sits in the floor in the theater (not comfortable) but the characters who are puppets are up on a high stage so the first couple rows have a hard time seeing the characters. Recommend more benches for the adults in the back and continued floor seating available for the kids.

The little ones all loved this. It's nice to get indoors once in a while and it's probably not too entertaining for grownups, but for kids, this is great. Of course it's nothing that kids can't do anywhere, in church or at school, but with these parks being somewhat limited on things the little ones can do, this is a pretty nice one.

In celebration of our sons fourth birthday, this was our first stop upon entering the park, and he absolutely loved it! He's a big Disney Junior fan and all of the characters in this show, which is a live episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse with Sofia the First, Doc McStuffins and Jake and The Neverland Pirates!

Personally, I loved not feeling like a total weirdo for knowing every character and song as pretty much all of the parents in the room were singing along, as well! Also, no offense to anyone, but as a relatively young parent who is in good shape, I was not bothered, at all, by having to sit on the floor. Also, I suppose it didn't bother me because I was expecting it, since I remember going to these type of shows with my little cousin growing up!

Expectations have a lot to do with perspective!

For kids, this show would be five stars. For adults, it is barley one star.

If you have a young child who watches Disney Junior, he/she will know all of the characters in this show. The show begins with a human host and quickly transforms into an episode of Mickey's Playhouse. I didn't recognize some of the characters, but my kids sure did. They also sang along to every song and seemed to know what was going on. If you have younger kids, it's worth a visit. Now on to the reason I hated it.

There is nowhere to sit, other than the floor. Seriously Disney? You couldn't put benches in there like nearly every other ridiculous show I had to sit through? There was no reason this show couldn't of had somewhere to sit. If you've ever been to Disney you know they like to cram as many humans into a space as possible. Imagine being forced to sit on the hard floor next to all that humanity. It was not enjoyable at all.

After it was all over the look on my child's face made that misery seem worth it. Almost.

      First to Review

We were excited to get out of the 90 degree heat only to find that Disney was making us sit on the floor for 25 minutes. I really wanted to give one star for that.

We decided to make a move to the back to claim one of four benches hidden in the back. Five stars for the hidden benches.

This show is great for the kids. My little one loved all of the characters because she has seen every show on Disney Junior. We saw Mickey Mouse Club house, little I
Einsteins, Handy Manny and Jake and the Pirate guys. The show was really cute. It was based on throwing Minnie a birthday party.

This is a good show if you have kids. If you don't have kids or don't watch Disney Junior then don't come to the show. It was really rude seeing people leave the show early without kids. Suck it up and watch the show. What really sucked was that most of these people were in the front row. The kids stuck in the back would have loved to be up close.

So let's recap! If you don't have kids or don't like sitting on floors then this is not the show for you! If you like Disney Junior then you will like this.

Of course the only reason I went to this show was because of my two year old. It's cute and he knows the characters, it's a lot of fun to see him excited over the show. Just a warning though they have everyone sitting on the ground which isn't terribly comfortable. Just carpet squares on concrete and they really try to squeeze everyone together so be prepared to scoot and get in close to everyone around you. I have noticed in a couple shows were puppets were malfunctioning, mouth not working or eye stuck shut, but the show went on anyway. I'm surprised they don't have back ups but obviously my toddler didn't notice. The "snow," bubbles and doubloons make for a great addition to the show and make it even more fun for the little ones. I feel like this should go without saying but expect lots of kids running around and try not to be a grump if they bump into you. We'll keep coming back for my son but I wouldn't mind if they updated the characters or added some cushion to the floor.

I went to this event with my niece and nephew who are relatively young. I have not seen Sofia the first, Jake from Neverland or Doc McStuffins on tv before, so I can't comment on the tv shows but I can on this live production.

The first thing I noticed is how much fun the kids were having while here. You sit on the floor and you watch a stage show. Someone comes out and sings along with the characters on stage and hosts the show. It is definitely geared towards younger audiences, I would say under seven.

The characters from the meet and greet do not come onstage at all. They are puppets. Kind of like Sesame Street or a Muppet show type of thing.

All in all, it was fun and I would recommend it but only if you have kids under seven years old or love Disney Junior.

My 4.5 year old son LOVED this show!! It's probably because he's been watching Nick Jr. For the last 2 years and had his favorite characters- the Mickey Mouse clubhouse gang and also Jake and his gang. It was essentially an episode of MMCH, and then they brought in Sofia the first, Doc McStuffins, and Jake and the never land pirates to help. The show was 20 minutes- just long enough and he had a blast singing along, dancing, and collecting gold papers.

I know people are complaining because you have to sit on the floor- really?? It's only 20 minutes and they gave us the option to stand in the back if you didn't want to sit. Sure, my leg was totally asleep when it was over, but it was worth it to see the smile on my sons face- also- no wait Ike when we were there!
