Dinyarian Parvin DDS

Don't take this review with a grain of salt. Dr. Dinyarian is one of the best. I have had a lot of dental work done and a few root canals in my time and I can tell you that she is great! She explains exactly what the process is. You are not left clueless and ashamed to ask questions. She listens to any concerns you may have and addresses them systematically.

In regards to her skills and techniques...well I have a few dentists in my family(including an endodontist) who have looked at the x-rays of her work and they say everything is done superlatively. I can attest to the fact that never did I feel an iota of pain even with the injection!

The billing process was equally non-painful. Everything was printed out and presented to me before I was brought into the procedure room. Any questions were easily answered and I knew exactly what I owed and what my insurance estimate was. Everything was reasonable in regards to cost.

I don't look forward to having another root canal, but if I have to have one I would definitely see Dr. Dinyarian again! I recommend her 110%! Thank you Dr. Dinyarian!

I just wanted to take a moment to evaluate and give my firmest recommendation for Texas Hill Country Endodontics, which is operated by Dr. Parvin Dinyarian, DDS, PA. Not only she is superlative, but her staff is as well.
I am a disabled US Veteran and after the VA still hadn't given my dental benefit, I started having pain and needed to get it taken care of after almost 7 years of no dental care. Now, going to the dentist or a dental specialist is not on the list of things any of us like to do. I got a referral to Dr. Dinyarian through my regular dentist, after being informed that I would need not one, but two root canals as a part of the preservation of my teeth.
I had always had perfect dental health but after 7 years of not having regular appointments due to the disability and the slow VA award of benefits, I knew that it had to be fixed. The unfortunate part was I would have to "pay out of pocket". I explained this to the staff, and they were very understanding and accommodating in every way I can think of.
I called the office and spoke with Kurt and was given a quote and was seen the following week for a root canal. Now, to be honest, I was a bit nervous. I had never had a dental procedure before and we have heard all these horror stories.
However, my experience was not horrible at all. It bordered on pleasant if you can say that about a dentist or dental specialist visit. I found the staff to be pleasant, smiling, engaging and entirely patient and customer service focused.
The interaction with Dr. Dinyarian was more like that of talking with a friend who cared about you. That is the type of demeanor that was presented, and I was put at ease. She explained everything (I learned a lot about dental health from her and her staff) and made sure I understood what was happening each step in the process.
Overall, even though there was a minor hiccup on the pricing (which they totally fixed to my satisfaction), they have my firmest recommendation to provide basically pain-free service. To do it with laughter, a joking manner, and all smiles is a bonus.
I'll go back for sure.

The doctor did a great job, the office billing staff though did a horrible job. I had a discount dental card and dental insurance. I knew the dental insurance would not be applicable and told them so and to use the discount card. So after my exam, they greeted me with the expected cost for the root canal, me assuming they followed my directions and checked with the discount billing card, and I paid what I thought was the final bill as quoted. Three months later I received a balance bill of $348. I called them to explain. They explained my "insurance" had quoted them the wrong price and still would not cover the difference. I then queried to see if they had used the dental discount card. They said no, the "insurance," which I specifically told them not to use. Then Sandra whined about the insurance told them wrongly and the insurance should cover the mistake. The insurance wouldn't cover Sandra's error and I was expected to. And Sandra did not care. She couldn't see how hypocritical she was in expecting the insurance company to pay for their mistake when she wouldn't atone for her own error. She made the initial error and I had to pay for it. People make mistakes and I get that. But she wouldn't accept responsibility for it, or the office wouldn't either. Be very careful with billing as if they make an error, they don't care and will balance bill you down the road.

Dr. Dinyarian is a well trained specialist in root canals. She provides thorough and adequate care. That said her office staff is disorganized and highly incompetent. Each of the three appiontments I have had have run late. In fact my first appointment ran two and a half hours late. On my final
appointment I was given a call while en route to her office to ask if I could show up an hour later since Dr Dinyarian was running late... mind you I was the second appointment of the day. Dr Dinyarian and her staff fail to recognize that people work and cannot spend all day in her office waiting to be seen. Overall the experience was regrettable. If she hadn't conducted the procedure the first time, I would not have come back for the two additional follow up appointments. I highly reccomend seeking another root canal specialist.

We've seen Dr. Shiloah for over the last year when there was trauma done to my daughter's teeth. He has always been so nice, informative and just all around caring for us... especially in making my daughter comfortable who had to get a root canal done. We wouldn't go anywhere else for this type of work.

I don't normally write reviews but I feel inclined to write one considering how great Dr. Shiloah & his staff treated me during my multiple visits. I recently had to have two root canals done. During my first visit I had a full blown anxiety attack, they were so patient with me & gave me all the time I needed to relax. They even opened the window to let me have some fresh air. My second visit went without incident. They managed to take care of the horrible pain I was getting from my nerve pain & fixed me right up! I hope I never have to see Dr. Shiloah again but even if I did I know the visit would be as pleasant as possible!

Had a recent root canal done here by Dr Shiloah. He is very friendly, quiet and professional. I have had some bad experiences in the past with dentists so as a result despise having any procedures done. Didn't feel a thing after I was numbed up which is very important in my book!!
They can make very early appointments which is convenient. Staff members were also very pleasant and professional.
No complaints. Would recommend.

I accompanied my wife to have a root canal. Dr. Parvin and her staff were highly professional, well organized as well as kind, friendly and accommodating. The office surroundings were clean, cool and relaxing. I was very impressed. Dr. Parvin actually assisted me in escorting my wife to our car. It would be hard to improve on this level of care.

DO NOT GO HERE. I know this review is long, but PLEASE read if you are scheduling an appointment here. I have never in my life had such a terrible experience. When I got in the chair, the girl that was prepping me for the doctor and taking X-rays etc. kept telling me she is still practicing and not sure how to do the X-rays. She took about 6 different ones and still didn't get it right. She kept having to call other people in to help her and show her how to do things. I was okay with it at first, thinking she just got out of dental school and is still getting comfortable. But then I got a little more irritated when Dr. Dinyarian came in, didn't even look at the X-rays or inside my mouth (we didn't even know at this point if I actually needed a root canal), and just stood there and said "alright so you're in pain? Ok. I'm gonna give you antibiotics and we'll get the root canal scheduled." I asked her how she knows this is definitely what I need to get done, and you know what she said?? She told me "most likely" this is what I need done, but anything is possible so it could be something else. And that was IT!!! She told me to schedule with the receptionist and left. The entire encounter with Dr. Dinyarian lasted for about a whole 2 minutes. Needless to say I did not feel very confident whatsoever with her evaluation. Regardless I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt, and went to set up the follow up appointment.
Y'all. This receptionist that schedules the appointments is the rudest person ever. She was talking bad about other patients, and complaining about her personal problems at home to me. She would cut me off every time I tried to ask a question, so eventually I just stood there in silence listening to her complain about her own problems.
I was then told that I have to pay about $1,000 out of my own pocket for the procedure because my insurance would not cover it. I also had to pay right then over $100 just for the so called "evaluation" from Dr. Dinyarian. That sounded a little strange to me, so I called my insurance company when I got home, and what do ya know.. They told me that was incorrect and that I should not have to pay anything at all out of pocket and that they should not have charged me anything for the evaluation that day either according to the contract they have with my insurance company. So my insurance company called the office, and let me stay on the line to hear the conversation. The office told my insurance company that I was LYING and that they never would have said that it wasn't covered. I was in complete shock. They flat out lied. My ins company told them that I can get the procedure done and should not pay anything at all out of pocket. So we stuck with the scheduled procedure. I go in to get it done about 2 weeks later, and before I go in the room, the rude receptionist tells me I have to pay them $1,000 first!!!! I told her that my insurance company already called and cleared that up, that I do not actually have to pay and she again said "they are lying to you". Those were literally her words. I could not believe it so I told her to forget it and walked out.

I got the root canal done at another dentists office a few weeks later with no problems at all. This was ridiculous.

They are amazing there, def know what they are doing. I didn't feel a thing! I would recommend Dr Dinyarian at Root Canal specialist to anyone who needs root canal. She's amazing!
