Leaving this review more for the shoutout the employees who helped me. I'm a Dasher and it was my first time to pick up an order from a department store. I had a hard time looking for items, and if you're a Dasher, you know that the clock is ticking. I have 4 items and for the life of me I couldn't find them. Luckily the employees were very patient with me, I didnt get the name of the guy but he was wearing glasses and the girl's name I believe was Erin. Biggest shout out to Robert who initially helped me and rang me up. The customer's coupon from the app was not working but Robert was very patient, helpful and understanding. Hope they can read this but biggest thank you to you 3 for helping out a Dasher who thank God didn't lose the tip. Peace and blessings!

I've come to this location twice for online order pick up. Never had a problem!

I'm a big Ebates user and Dick's always had a high percentage cash back (I got 12% cash back with an order a month ago!) so I typically order online through Ebates and pick up at a nearby location.

Online order pick up is a breeze here! You simply bring in the email (or look it up on your phone) to the Online Order Pickup kiosk in the front of the store. Simply scan the barcode at the kiosk and an employee will bring your order quickly. I was in and out of the store within a minute during a busy Sunday in December!

This store is very clean and every employee I've encountered here is happy to help. Would recommend coming here!

The most confusing, disorganized store I've ever been to. The men's, Women's & kids clothes are all mixed together & nothing is marked. Better off at Salvation Army

DO NOT GO TO THIS DICKS.

I went to this location recently to buy 2 new shirts, after I left and was almost home, I took a closer look at my items. Out of utter shock and not sure how I missed this at the store, one of the shirts I purchased had hair (like someone got a full blown haircut in this shirt) ALL over the collar. I immediately turned around to return it. Not only was I greeted with some of the rudest customer service employees, he actually offered me a deal if I kept the disgusting shirt. (Lets not forget we are in a pandemic???)

But get this, after a few days I decide to test them. After I returned this shirt , I decided to check if they still put it back on display. To my utter surprise THEY PUT THE SHIRT WITH THE HAIR STILL ON IT RIGHT BACK ON THE SHELF. THEY COULD NOT EVEN CLEAN IT.

I 10000% recommend nobody shops at this dicks and it should be permanently closed.

I would give it negative stars if I could. Awful staff, awful sanitary protocols, over awful experience.

      As the title says

DO NOT GO TO THIS DICKS.

I needed to get a swimsuit for my high schooler's gym class in a pinch in November; Dick's had a decent variety to choose from, and I was even able to grab a cute one from the clearance rack that she liked for under $25! The employees were very friendly, they were very conscientious about cleanliness, and their dressing room was open WHICH WAS A HUGE HELP TO A MOM WHO DOESN'T HAVE THE TIME TO RUN BACK AND FORTH WITH RETURNS!!!!!!

      If "zero" stars were possible....

You could blow a cannon through this place. There's never anyone in this store. Not sure how they stay in business. The employees are always too busy standing around talking to each other to offer any kind of help at all. The people working in the shoe department go out of their way to ignore you and to appear unavailable to help. Everything not on clearance is way over priced.

Took my daughter in last summer for soccer shoes and it was all unorganized and no one around to ask for help. Went in this week to look for women's indoor volleyball shoes. While admittedly we are late in the start of the season for a good available selection the items they did have were all either in wrong boxes or missing/unmatched pairs. It was end of the day/closing time on a snowy Sunday night and my daughter settled on the only "pair" we could find to match her size. She tried on one shoe from the box and they fit. Took them to the register to pay. I asked our cashier "Michele" to double check to see that we had both shoes in the correct size, she seemed "put off" but checked. When we got home and my daughter tried on both shoes, together this time, and was surprised to see that not only did we get two shoes of different styles, they were both for the "right" foot. Two right feet. No good for volleyball. The pair cost $79.99. I promptly went on AMAZON and found a pair of competing name brand shoes that were of just as superior quality for $42.00. Had them Shipped via Amazon Prime and got them in time for her game. The day they came I went to Dicks (3days after original purchase) to return the $79.99 original "pair". When I jokingly explained the mixup in the "pair" style and two "right" shoes to the MANAGER MICHELE (same as who sold them to me) she looked at me in disbelief and said "why didn't you check them first!" This wasn't a question, rather an accusation. Ummm. I mentioned that if she didn't remember we had both checked the shoes together when I purchased them to make sure they were of the same size. Wouldn't she have noticed better than I that they weren't correct? She rolled her eyes and said "I still can't believe you didn't notice". I did point out the similarities in the style and how it was difficult to differentiate the two without looking closely. She called to an employee over her "earpiece " to a shoe department employee that she was sending me back to get the matching shoe. I told her that I would just rather refund them as I was left to order a pair from Amazon because of this mistake. She got steaming mad (mind you there were no other customers in the store) and proceeded with my refund, not speaking to me further. She handed me the return slip and said "Sorry about this....ACTUALLY, NO...I'M NOT SORRY....BYE!" Choosing the respectful path in front of my small children, I decided to let it go and handle it with a phone call later. Upon my call back to the store, I asked for the managers name "MICHELE". So then I asked for the General Manager or District Managers name. I was told by the employee on the phone who was told via their intercom mic (by Michele) that she/Michele was the only one to speak to. I informed them that it was on that I would call corporate. Not telling them the matter of my call.

I later called customer service and filed detailed info on my ordeal and was apologized to and reassured that a district manager would promptly be in touch. Was offered an online discount code for another purchase (not necessary) and reassured this would be handled.

With AMAZON taking over the marketplace, it's amazing to me that this kind of disrespect to actual customers (not virtual) would be tolerated. You will be going out of business. Just a matter of time. I will happily take my business to small businesses or to Amazon who are always willing to make it right.

My experience with this store was not the best. I was looking for a Hydroflask water bottle and called to see if the specific one I wanted was still available at their store for pick up. I called and the person on the phone put me on hold for quite some time. Afterwards, he told me that they have it and asked if I wanted to place a hold on it. I did that.

This specific location is 19 miles away from my house. I drove down there the following morning and upon purchase, I saw that there were MULTIPLE scratches all around the water bottle. Normally, I would let it slide but this was unacceptable. There were very noticeable and huge, all around the water bottle.

My complaint is the person on the phone. The least he could've done was mention the scratches on them. It would've saved me the hassle of driving all the way to this store and leaving with no purchase. I mean... who would purchase a beat up water bottle? Considering the high price of this brand of bottles, the least they could be in is perfect condition.

With this global pandemic still occurring, I was surprised that this store was currently open. All I needed was hammock straps and could've easily bought them through Amazon. But, being a resident of Rochester Hills, I thought I would support a local store through these hard times. Dick's website didn't provide the length for the straps I wanted so I had to call in and ask for more details. The employee that answered the phone said she didn't know and would have to walk to the back of the store to find out. I told her that's fine, I was going to buy them, I just wanted to know the lengths. She repeatedly kept saying "well I have to walk to the back and find out" as if she was annoyed she would have to go look. Finally, i said to her if it's too much of a hassle for you then forget it. And she finally started cooperating. She put me on hold, came back and gave me a length. I asked her is this the total length or the length of one strap. She started giving me attitude again and was talking to me real slow like I was stupid. I started to get mad so I just hung up the phone. Long story short, be grateful that you have a job during these hard times. If you don't like caring to customers about products then maybe retail and customer service isn't your thing. Needless to say I bought the straps from Amazon. I tried ‍

Just did a curbside bike pickup and the team there is terrific. With the limited staff, they still seemed to take care of me quick.

I almost didn't go into this Dick's location based on the iffy reviews. I'm glad, for once, that I didn't listen.

The service I received was great, the checkout was quick and it was a positive experience. I didn't find the store to be dirty or confusing. All in all it served the purpose I needed and I was pleased walking out.
