I've tried very hard to like this shop. So much that I always somehow find my way back to then I have to remember why I don't shop here.

The customer service is terrible. Someone always comes from the back when I enter and just stares, regardless if I say hello or not. The answer is no right after you ask any type of question. Dust on almost everything. Over priced. All I wanted was some candles, which surprisingly they didn't have what I was looking for. And I was stared down the whole time.
It's a small shop. Literally two isles. Nothing in there is worth stealing to me. That's just bad karma but God forbid, let them not let up about watching you shuffle around the small store.

I was very disappointed in the service and products here. First of all, the shop does not have good energy.

I speak fluent Spanish, so upon entering the shop the first lady didn't seem to want to help me in Spanish, so a younger girl came out and only spoke to me in English. They spoke to each other in Spanish and to me in English.

They did NOT have what I came in for, so I wanted to look around. This girl followed me around the shop closely and very impatiently. It was distracting and uncomfortable. Like they were watching me very closely, and in a small shop this was just too much.

I bought a few little things but nowhere near the purchase I would have made if they would've just been normal. I found the products to be RIDICULOUSLY overpriced (tiny sage bundle for $9.99? No). Most products were mass produced and dusty, not very quality at all. Oh, and it's cash only.

Anyway, I do not recommend this place if you're looking for anything but the basics, and mass produced old product at that. Gracias, pero NO.

This place is perfect for spiritual rituals and burning candle. I searched alll over they have a variety of candles that Ccar service every need. So glad I found this place.

This store is not appropriately categorized, it is more along the lines of a metaphysical, herbal apothecary, spiritual incantation type of place.

It's difficult for me to review this business because I found exactly what I was looking for but there are some things in the store that don't align with my spiritual vibration hence my hesitation to give 5 stars. I will put my beliefs aside, not judge others for their beliefs and give you my thoughts. OK, got that out of the way.

What are you looking for? I was looking for a natural amethyst and a sage stick. I found both at very reasonable prices. The owner doesn't speak much English but he understands so just speak a little slower than you normally would and he will know exactly what you are saying. He may respond to you in Spanish but will point to what you are looking for. Interesting if you have a curious nature. They have Nag Champa incense, charcoal disks and various herbs along with other items that I just don't understand.

To all of you that are practitioners of Santeria/Palo/Hoodoo/Voodoo who live in the Denton-Lewisville-Carrollton area who are used to driving all the way to Dallas or Ft. Worth to get their items, or even further stop doing that and come to Devino Jesus Botanica. I went there for the first time today and I am amazed. You can find anything that you need, but pretty much everything is in Spanish. Luckily for me, I am bilingual, but whatever you can't find just ask and the owner will help you.

Word to the wise, there are plates on top of the display cases that say "No tocar," Spanish for "Don't touch!"
