DeMarco's Restaurant & Pizzeria

This was my first visit to De Marco's Pizza, It was a Monday at 4pm after the start and finish of a very long hike. There were a few choices in the way of pizza slices. I enjoyed the Sicilian slice and the miscellaneous slice while watching the Summer Olympics on the old TV perched on top of the soda/drink refrigerator. Thehot food was pretty good. The seating consists of all tables that sit four. It's a typical classic pizzeria.

Had the pleasure of trying Demarco's for the first time this past weekend. I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of quality but I was left impressed. Tried the plain pie which was great but the cheesesteak was surprisingly excellent! I would definitely come back just for the sandwich. Service was excellent. Parking was easy since it's in a shopping center and cashier was lovely. I did takeout but the ambiance inside was also nice and the place seemed clean. I'll be back. It's nice to have a good option in town.

This place is garbage. Pizza was not cooked in the middle.

Also, they charged me almost $18 for a plain pie!! But here's the part that really shows how sneaky these shady guys are; they said the price was $16 before they took my credit card and then the receipt said it was more.

NEVER EAT HERE!!!

I used to live right outside of NYC and work in NYC, so I have had some of the best pizza period. I recently moved to Hewitt and I found a hidden gem. DeMarco's pizza is easily the best in the area, but quite honestly one of the best pizza's I ever had. Even if you have to drive out the way a little, try it out. You won't regret it!

Demarcos's has been my go-to place for pizza in WM for many years. They have always been top-notch. They are always accommodating, friendly, and fast, and the food is always excellent! I went in the other day just for a slice and decided upon one of their specials: Chicken Coconut Rum Pineapple and Asparagus (or something like that). I was so happy I ordered it, it was so delicious and I left there very happy!

Our household gets DeMarco's delivered once a week! It was one of the first and only places in Hewitt that delivers great food. Every driver is super nice and the food is always hot when we receive it. Ordering now !

Good consistent pizza and fast delivery. My only complaint would be that they use jarred pickled peppers instead of fresh peppers on a pizza. But the pies are always consistent and cooked properly. And the chicken wings are the best in town - a pleasant find!

This place is a dump. The owners' kids running around rampantly, uncontrolled, and un-parented. Service sucks. Workers are rude. I don't recommend.

So far, so good. I've been here twice, each time unplanned, and been satisfied. The husband and wife team working there were friendly and accommodated my complex order (some gluten-free, some not). I must say the crust for their gluten-free pizza is the best I have had locally, and I have tried several in the area. I also had some friendly conversation with the husband in Italian.

I felt the need to make this review since I saw some pretty negative reviews. I can't speak for what other people have experienced, but my experiences here have only been positive. We don't go out to eat often, but we plan on coming here again because of our positive experiences.

Sigh . We won't be ordering food from Here again .

Perhaps I would try that if someone else had ordered it.

We had sandwiches. My boyfriend had a cold sub, and I had a wrap. Boyfriend said: "this is the worst sandwich I've ever had."
Mine wasn't much better . It was supposed to be an eggplant parmigiana wrap, but looked and tasted more like eggplant tapenade . I didn't care for the wrap in the very least . Texture and flavor were really far off.

The one redeeming quality about the food was that the zucchini fries were really tasty. Oh boy.

We are on a mission to find North Jersey's BEST Margarita Pizza, Grandma and Grandpa pizzas. Recently, we gave DeMarco's Pizzeria & Restaurant, Hewitt, NJ a try. We ordered Margartia and Sicilian pies. Note: DeMarco's did not have grandma or grandpa pies on the menu so went with a traditional sicilian pie instead.
Up first, the Margarita pie: very little taste. We were hopeful; it looked like it was going to taste good! The crust was thin but was very soggy. The basil was cooked on which lost its taste in the process. The fresh mozzarella cheese was perfectly placed. The sauce, though, did not have much taste to it. With the sogginess and lack of taste we can't give this pie a high rating.

The Sicilian pie was much better. The crust was cooked PERFECTLY. So far, the best tasting crust we've had on a "thicker pie." The cheese was lumped on which wasn't a big deal if you love a lot of cheese on a Scicillian pie. The only downfall was the sauce, again. It just didn't have any flavor to it. Overall, we do recommend the Sicilian pie!
