Del Monico

Dined here last night for my Mother's birthday. When we arrived, we were day immediately the dining room was empty. We immediately noticed the changes in decor. New chairs, new menus and clearly new prices. Website and restaurant prices are different.

They use to have really good bread, it's now different just ok. We skipped apps and ordered entrees. Both of us ordered steaks, filet mignon and NY strip. Both were overcooked, not inedible just not how we asked. Veggies and yellow rice were both bland. Towards the end of our meal service slowed down, a lot of waiting. Brought me the wrong check so we waited to correct the issue and settle the bill awhile. I found this restaurant during covid, unfortunately it's not the same.

Delicious and beautiful combo found at Del Monico. Food selection is on point. Excited to come back

We have only ordered pick-up but the place looks great. The portions are generous and the food prepared incredibly well. If you want an American fare joint on your dinner rotation, then this is the place to order from.

Won't be going back here . Went for happy hour sat at the bar which is cute. Had not been there since before Covid . After asking a few questions about the happy hour menu waitress looked annoyed and gave us not such friendly service. She then went over to other server said something and he turned yo stare at us . Obviously , she must have said so let king about us bring a pain . We finished our drink and we went to another local establishment where we had more drinks and plenty of apps . Don't waste your time here .

I heard great things about this place, the New York chain , so when I heard there was one in New Jersey I've been trying to come here for sometime.

well I was definitely wildly disappointed, my server clara was super sweet and attentive but the food was definitely lackluster. The appetizers were just mediocre at best the only things that we're good we're basic the shrimp cocktail was good, the pu pu platter was ok.
there are definitely some great deals for lunch though, we ordered almost the entire menu and our bill was only 190.

I think perhaps lunch is not the way to go because I saw the steaks for dinner and I definitely think I'll be back for that.

My family and I love del Monico. We used to visit their older location in Rutherford NJ before it closed down weekly. The food here is just as good. Their pepper dipping sauce for warm bread is worth the visit alone. The fish was fresh and the General Taos chicken was great. The service was excellent. We will definitely be back!

This is a local gem. Went with another couple & it was wonderful. The place was decorated very cute for Valentines Day & it was a warm, intimate atmosphere. The waiter, Theodore was excellent. The warm bread & dipping oils were so good & he happily brought more bread. We ordered fried calamari, Delmonico steaks, short ribs, spring salad, mushrooms, coconut shrimp & everything was cooked perfectly & tasted delicious. The owner was present & checked to make sure everything was ok. We left wanting to come back again!

Eh. Went in recently and had just an okay time. I've been here in the past and enjoyed happy hour but somehow my experience missed the mark. I am taking out how covid has affected things, and my experience was slightly forgettable. What make up for it was the very please gentleman (manager maybe) who went out of his way to make sure we had a good experience.

Would I go back?? Eh, maybe? Moreso for happy hour apps and drinks if anything.

Went to this place after driving past it a ton of times from Willowbrook Mall. One day I'll go and check it out. Boy, I wish I went in sooner. The food here was amazing!!!! At first I was a little iffy walking in. It doesn't look like much from the outside. But once you go inside, they treat you like a king from the moment you walk in. Their biggest ticket here is the food quality. I got the Del Monico which is their Ribeye and it was very well seasoned and very fairly priced. The only takeaway was that I couldn't have dessert because of how full I was. The food here is priced just right, the portions are generous, and the food very very very good.

This place is the worst, we had reservations and they sat us down at the table right next to the kitchen, so every time the kitchen door opened, there was a huge SLAM! And it's so disgusting, it's open to the outside, we had a gnat fly into our butter for the bread, we left so early we didn't even order drinks, all we had their bread and butter, then we left, even their bread is burnt, I would never come back here, and you shouldn't either.
