I stayed here in july, and they charged my mother and me $120 for the night. The room was full of smoke and obviously not cleaned. The shower had hair all over the and mirror had writing from the previous boarder. I told the front desk and she sent us to another room, full of smoke again. Because the last room wasn't cleaned, asked for fresh linens for the bed. While i was changing my own bed, dried blood and sperm was found. I'm afraid to travel now, just because I would have to stay at a hotel, and I'm still disgusted from that stay.

This hotel could have been better. When we walked in the hallway to our room smelled skunky like someone was smoking weed, and the room could have been cleaner better. The really wasn't anything to do or see in that area, and the location of the hotel wasn't the best area.

Stayed here end of July 2015 and it's a decent hotel nothing fancy. Right off the highway. Takes 15 minutes to get to downtown. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The pull out couch wasn't so much but the kids were sleeping on it so it didn't bother them. Room was cleaned and restocked with towels when we got back at the end of the day. It's a smoking hotel so there is a smoke smell but it didn't bother me because I'm a smoker.
Only negatives is the breakfast is on the small side. Just cereal coffee, bread, oatmeal and a waffle maker and of course coffee. That's about it. The a/c in our room wasn't broken but it sounded like a waterfall wad inside of it. The floor by the unit was soaked. Didn't bug me really.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kevin G.Yuma, AZ020Jun 27, 2016
In a rough location. Staff was friendly. First night cops were called because of someone trying to get into the hotel.

Nothing fancy, but cheap (with AAA discount), clean enough, and close to the interstate. About 10 minutes drive from both Churchill Downs and downtown Louisville. The front desk staff was friendly and the free continental breakfast was simple but adequate - included yogurt, which was a plus, but no hot food. Wireless internet was free and worked great.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for a concert in the area. I booked the hotel through a "third-party app" and should've done my homework better, but that's for a different review. Upon arriving (Way later than I would've preferred) I told the clerk at the front desk my name, he was extremely friendly and mentioned that they were waiting on me. We got to our room and were impressed at how clean and inviting it was. The temperature was good. We hooked up our devices to the free wifi network to download some stuff (very fast by the way) and passed out. My wife slept much better than I did. I awoke (around 3:00am) to someone nearby running their bath water. It was so loud that it sounded as if it were in our room. I checked the bathroom to make sure that it wasn't ours and upon verification tried to go back to sleep. After about 15 minutes the noise stopped and I was able to go back to sleep. We woke up around 7:45am due to someone in the hallway talking on a phone (you could clearly hear every word he was saying). I would definitely recommend this hotel with the exception of the paper-thin walls. Staff was great, clean rooms, breakfast was decent. The only points deducted are for the walls.

The man who owns this hotel is a complete dictator. its dirty and known for bed bugs. he ONLY hires women and there is only ever one person working there at a time. he does not follow most codes when it comes to how many hours he can work a person and many work VERY frequent double or triple shifts. no hot breakfast and what they do have you could tell was somewhat old. the lady at the front desk was great and helped me with whatever i needed. internet was free. do not sleep here. GROSS
