I went in to David's bridal in Vista, looking for a dress last minute and Clarissa assisted me. She understood the assignment. I explained to her that I was on a time crunch, my wedding was coming up on Saturday, March 18th, and I was very stressed out because the place where I initially bought a dress from, still didn't have my dress ready.
Clarissa made the process of finding a dress so seamlessly. I felt at ease because she provided me with different options to have my vision come to life. Thanks to Clarissa, I found my dress! I said yes to the dress!
My dress needed to be tailored as well. Zoila and Alex were wonderful! I went in on a Tuesday for measurements etc. I wanted sleeves on my dress that matched the lace on my dress, and Zoila worked her magic! My dress was ready for pick up that same week on Friday. Alex came in on his day off to deliver my dress and to make sure I was happy with the final fitting.

Poor customer service if not buying a wedding dress! I was trying to find a simple dress for an event I had. I went into the dressing room with 8 dresses. Not once did anyone check on me, help me with a zipper or ask if I needed different sizes.
When I took one dress up to the counter to see if they had another in stock as the one on the floor had a stain on it. They looked and said no but offered to order. When I said I needed to travel with in two days they gave me the item number so I could call nearby stores on my own.

Leaving this place absolutely horrified and in tears. They "screwed up" (their words) my alterations by sewing a gem belt all the way around the waist so there was no way to get the dress on and told me it would just take a day to fix it but that they'd call me when it was ready. 3 weeks later they call me and said, "there was a flood, you have 2 days to pick up your dress or we're sending it to Santee." So I asked if the dress was even ready since the last appointment since no one had called me? She said it was so I came in.
While I was getting undressed to put my wedding dress on, a man that works there says "excuse me" and completely opens the entire curtain to me fully naked, I yelled excuse me and he said "oh sorry"... I ended up in tears being so embarrassed and I told my alterations person while crying and she said "oh haha let me have you sign your receipt". I can't give the shop itself 5 stars but wanted to give a special shout out to Olivia in alterations. She was an absolute angel in helping out my sister when things took a wrong turn. Thank you Olivia for making my sister's big day in France one in which she felt beautiful and special.

I loved my experience at David's bridal. Ailaina helped me a lot and made my experience amazing. They do have lots of selections and I tried on a variety of dresses from sleek and modern to romantic A - Lines.

Worst customer service. I get the bankruptcy now. Vista location has very rude managers who laughed when I asked for help. Their suggestion drive to another location (40 mins to 1 hour away). Or call corporate which is an automated system.

Worst return ever.
BUYER BEWARE
I bought two dresses and a shawl on Saturday. I checked their return policy and they said it was OK to return items within seven days.
On Monday, after my family and I decided on a dress, I tried to return one of the dresses. But, unlike every other retailer I frequent, they wouldn't process the return without the original reciept - the purchasing credit card was not sufficient. So I drove all the way home to fetch my original reciept.
All good, right?
Not even close. For some unknown reason, the original reciept was not enough to give me my money back. They wouldn't process the reutrn without an ID and credit card. I HAD THE RECIEPT! Why do you need anything more?
OK, fine, I've had it at this point. I give them my ID, credit card, and original reciept. They processed the reutrn AND WOULD NOT RETURN MY RECIEPT. IT'S MY PROPERTY! I have two more items on that reciept. What if I want to return those items? Now I can't do that because I don't have my original reciept?
To add insult to injury, after much arguing, they printed out a copy of my original reciept from their terminal instead of giving me MY reciept. Really? They had my reciept all the time and could have just printed it out and used it just like every other retailer in Southern California. I think that this "policy" is designed to keep you from returning stuff, even though they have a return policy.

While I did find my dress at David's Bridal I was relieved I did not invite my bridesmaids to come with me because the carpet is filthy and I did not want my dress touching it. I'm not sure how they think trying on mostly white dresses is ok with carpet so dirty. So embarrassing I'm sure for bridge who invite people to be part of that special moment.
