      I brought our family laptop with a corrupt hard drive to Dave. His assistant Ashley could not have been more professional and patient with all of my questions. Dave was able to recover my data and install a new hard drive. Our back up drive was also corrupt so he did not have a lot to work with. Luckily due to his extensive knowledge he was able to get us back up and running in 2 days. Dave was able to assist with a few questions even after I picked up the laptop. My family is grateful to Dave! I would highly recommend Dave and his team. -

      My computer screen suddenly went black, I headed to Dave's hoping to get a quick fix. After a day I was informed the computer could not be fixed. So I asked if they could recover my data. Thankfully the data on the computer was able to be recovered. I had to bring an external drive to transfer the information, it took all of 2 days to get this all done. Customer service was great & helpful.

      Imac stopped booting up and brought it in. Had a diagnostic fee to start off but they were able to diagnose and fix quickly within days. Well worth the fee. Imac works great now. Covid safe too, as one customer in store at a time. Mask and social distancing. Well done. Highly recommended.

      Found them through Google.

      They were able to take me quickly. ----- Great.
      There was an extra fee to rush it. ----- Fine, no problem.

      When I received my laptop back it was very messed up including my MS Office documents (Word, Excel, etc....) were ALL converted into software called 'LibreOffice' which they installed on my laptop. My email was disconnected from the interface I had it attached to. Desktop format completely changed and on and on. ---- Let's fix it.

      Called and was told that I need to bring my laptop back to them and drop it off to fix THEIR mistakes. I would lose at least a full day of working on my laptop and that is a 1 hour round trip for me x 2.

      I asked for them to just link into my computer and have them fix the problems they created and was told I had to pay for that. They created the problems and how do you justify $50 dollars to link into my device? I asked to speak to the Dave of Dave's computers and was told he will tell me the same thing with a little laugh.

      I chose not to give them another dime. Scam? Or they don't understand how to run a business. Very disappointing.

      You refused to come in-person for us to resolve the issue which we told you would take less than 5 minutes.

      I give a 5-star rating for Dave's Computers in Hillsborough. Service was friendly, timely, reasonably priced, and work was done with 100% efficiency. I highly recommend this place for all your computer repair needs.

      I brought my desktop in after it was having issues turning on. After a quick assessment, I left it there with the promise they would take a look at it ASAP. Shortly after lunch, maybe two hours later, they got back to me with the news that my motherboard had failed. They offered to transfer everything over to a new tower that would be comparable and they even offered to upgrade me to windows 10. Overall, it was a bit expensive, but my computer was up and running + upgraded within hours of the initial drop-off. The quality of work was excellent and should I require assistance in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to bring my computer to Dave's.

      Recommended to the highest level without doubt. When my computer died I brought it to Dave's. It was history. They had me up and running on new equipment quickly. Honest service and resolution of your system needs. Don't hesitate to have them investigate and resolves your issue. Dave's understands customer service and being a partner in solving your needs in a cost effective manner. They went out of their way to get me functioning during a critical project for a client.

      These guys were great. I dropped my laptop off because of a fan issue. They diagnosed that and that my hard drive was beginning to fail. Totally gave me the option on what to do. Cost was reasonable and much cheaper than getting a new laptop. Picked up and running well, have not found any data lost on transfer.
