Warning: This is one hard to believe story! I contacted Dan Ellison from a trusted referral. I expected to work with Dan, instead, I received a call from one of his team members, Matt Rich. A little skeptical at first, but Matt quickly turned my skepticism around. Our first conversation took place Feb 10, 2018, AND on March 1, 2018 - escrow closed and my mother got her house keys! Matt was faced with many challenges, an impossible time-crunch as we had to find my mother a home within the timeframe of her Los Angeles house closing escrow; but, finding a home is only the beginning, we then had to make an offer, get the offer accepted, enter escrow in less than a month. Matt also had to agree to work with me as my mother made me the liaison for the entire home buying process. And as a current consumer advocate with a history in housing advocacy, I am a force to be reckoned with. Matt had to make the impossible - possible, AND he did just that... all with stellar professionalism, compassion, and tireless (morning, noon, and night) availability. Matt - was available for us at any time of the day, Monday - Sunday, plus he also has a great team, David Schuster, was always an email -or- phone call away to help me understand the closing process. If that weren't enough, they continue to show us their support to this day.

I am giving Dan and his team a 5 STAR review with a catch (Just start with MATT RICH as your agent, DAVID SCHUSTER as your Client Care Coordinator, and get JOANNA PERRY of Paramount Partners Group for lending). My partner and I moved to Sacramento from Montana two years ago. Started out renting, but as rental prices surpassed the cost of a mortgage and having a relocation package with my work to utilize, we quickly began the search. I wouldn't consider myself a difficult customer, I just have an expectation for a certain level of professionalism when making the largest purchase of my life to date. After being assigned to multiple agents on Dan's team over the course of over a year and not getting any accepted offers we were so fortunate to finally get placed with Matt Rich! Matt is incredible! He really puts his customers first. We had been looking for almost two years at this point and had been working with Dan's team for over a year. Within 12 days of getting assigned to Matt, we had an accepted offer and closed escrow 25 days after that! We were thrilled! There are several LITERAL HORROR stories we went through until we got set up with Matt, but those all go away now that we are finally in a house. To spare from going into the details and to support my 5 star review, just get Matt Rich from the start. From there, I would request a list of their preferred lenders to work with. Again, start with Joanna Perry of Paramount Partners Group (amazing)(one of our agents that has since been let go gave us a list of preferred lenders who weren't actually on Dan's list of preferred lenders. Guess how it went for me when I try and put an offer on a house where Dan is the listing agent??? I can answer, not well, initially... Dan gave us a day to get a new lender. Thanks to Matt and his contacts, we are so lucky to have had Joanna. She met with us at 9:00 that evening and had our pre-approval ready for my signatures that night). Matt submitted our offer the next day and that afternoon we were notified of an accepted offer! During closing, David Schuster was our Client Care Coordinator. Matt and David's level of professionalism and attention to detail rival the best. They really know what they are doing and guide you through the whole process. I was honestly shocked at how responsive and communicative they were well after closing. The service to their clients is genuine. It was a very refreshing experience considering the previous two years I would have leaned at calling it Realtor Hunting than House Hunting. Big thanks to Dan, Matt, and David!
