D'tour Pest Defense

Mike is a tell-you-how-it-is straight shooting individual. And for that, I love his services and wouldn't hesitate. I probably should have wrote this review 2 years ago when I used his service, but if I had a pest problem this moment, I'd send him a request for proposal.

I'm certain he's in the business to make money, but he's in a far better business of eradicating pests. I had ants in my kitchen within the first 6 months of moving into the house. He came and within 1 day they were literally lining up to get out of the house, and within 48 hours, there was never another sign of them.

Can't thank him enough!

Mike is amazing and extremely detailed in his work. Not only does he do a great job and pays attention to detail but does follow up visits and calls to make sure his work mitigated the pest problem. Mike helped resolve an issue in my apartment that another pest company couldn't do for twice the money and he was in my home for twice the time also. Not only that but I called Mike midday and he came out that same afternoon to save me. I couldn't be more appreciative and his competitive pricing can't be beat!

Glad I went with Mike based on all of the 5 star reviews, he truly is exceptional.
My call was returned within an hour, and he came out the next morning even though he was preparing to go out of town. Dealing with Mike is like having a friend who happens to be in pest control. He is prompt, professional, friendly, thorough, and knowledgeable. He doesn't over sell, and his prices are reasonable.
This is clearly a man who wants to establish a business based on trust and word of mouth, and it is working!
And those yellow jackets and other pests are very, very sorry I found him. :)

I saw one roach in our pantry and freaked out, naturally, because I think they are the grossest things ever. I called Mike and scheduled an appointment. He arrived very promptly, and has the most professional, calm, and kind demeanor, like he really wanted to help even though I knew I was overreacting. Mike spent a good amount of time checking every single item in my pantry and kitchen, and even sealed some little holes in the wall. He also assured me that the one roach was probably a lone reed - one that slipped away from the grocery or something. He also gave me recommendations for protecting my house from future pest issues. Mike is the best! He is the most reliable pest control dude in this area. If you want A+ service, call him for sure.

Mike is awesome! Last week I had 2 spider bites on my body (equals 2 doctors visits) and I found 2 of those damn critters in my master bath.
I called him today and he came within 2 hours.
He treated the areas he felt needed to be treated and since it's been raining he's coming back to do the exterior once the weather cooperates.
I also pointed out the not so lovely birds that have taken up residence in my bathroom vent. He will eliminate them as well.

Friendly, Fast, and Prompt!

Had about 50 ants with wings in my bathroom stall and couldn't tell if they were carpenter ants, flying ants, or termites.

Mike came to inspect SAME-DAY. Wore booties (always a good sign of a professional) and checked out the area.

Luckily, it was just flying ants. He gave great insight on the nature of these flying ants and some preventive measures. He did not try to upsell, and was very frank with us.

Would definitely recommend and use again for any issues Pest related!

I used Mike's services a couple of years ago to get rid of ants in our kitchen, and I was really happy with the results. Haven't seen ants again until now. Anyways, I called his service to schedule an appointment and got a busy signal. Came to Yelp and see that his business is closed which surprised me. Then googled him and realized he passed away June 2019. I was truly saddened to learn this. Mike was a really good guy and provided excellent service at reasonable prices, and he was a local guy operating his own small business-- all reasons why I used him and recommended to friends and family. RIP Mike.

So Mike was a neighbor of mine and I like to support small businesses so I gave him a shot and I'm grateful I did first his prices are very fair and second he got the job done right the first time saving me more money and my time. This man knows what he's doing. I got my protection for life.

Mike was forthright and professional. Evaluated problem. Set traps and went on a ladder to caulk area. He didn't try to up sell. Very fair price. Our neighbor had an estimate of $9000 from major company. For mice?!
Sent Mike over there and offered an honest assessment. Very down to earth. Would recommend

Mike is awesome! We had a serious flying ant problem after all the rain we've had this Spring and found D'tour after searching on Yelp. I called at 8:15 on a Thursday morning and he said he could be there by 9. He was was knowledgeable, considerate of the chemicals with small children and a dog, and reasonably priced. He sprayed around the perimeter of our home and was honest in saying that it would take a couple days to truly see them gone. Bam, less than 2 days later and not a single ant! He saved our sanity! Highly recommend.
