We are home of East Tennessee's first homemade rolled ice cream. We make cups, waffle tacos, and Krispy Kreme sandwiches of your own flavor ice cream in front of you. You can watch it go from liquid to iced cream in a matter of minutes, and also choose your own 3 toppings at the end!

Is there soft serve vanilla ice cream?

      A:

We have vanilla rolled ice cream. It does have a soft texture if it's left to warm up a bit.

This review was a tough one for me. First of all, I love this concept. It's very fun to construct your own ice cream concoction with your favorite toppings and watch it be rolled in front of you. Secondly, it's clear upon entering the business is locally owned and family run... which is amazing in the giant tourist trap that Pigeon Forge can be.

Now let's to the reason behind my 3/5 review:
Two words: The Price. Your base cup of rolled ice cream, with one mix in and 3 toppings will run you $11.00. Additional mix ins, waffle bowls, waffle taco shells, donuts are all extra ... and reasonably so. I had ordered vanilla ice cream, with peanut butter mix in, marshmallow crème topping and whipped cream. My husband got a waffle bowl with vanilla, pecan pie mix in, and Twix, sprinkles and whipped cream. We spent $32. I'm sorry at the end of the day, it's ice cream. Was it good? Yeah. Was it $32 good? No. Pricing really feels like tourist baiting. The prices are high because they can set them high and tourists will pay. I can fully understand needing enough profit to make rent and cover expenses, but one can literally get ice cream in over a dozen different areas in a couple mile radius and it will not cost that much. I simply do not feel this place sets itself apart enough to justify their prices.

Recommended by friends and did not disappoint. Plenty of mix and topping choices to add to your base choice, which included dairy free and vegan friendly options. The normal base was light and while I was surprised when I saw the mix-in was only was strawberry, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I tasted the strawberry. Same story in the one Oreo. Seating is a little limited but we made it work for our group of couples.

Ice cream was tasty, but pricy. The ordering system was confusing: tell what mix-in you want, THEN the base, but DON'T tell him what toppings you want when you order. The mix-ins are on two separate lists in different places on the menu. The toppings are different options from the mix-ins and and on another list that you can't see when you order. The staff was unfriendly and seemed annoyed.

The ice cream is delicious, the flavor possibilities are endless, and the fact that you can choose a waffle taco, cup or donut sandwich makes it even more difficult to choose dessert!
Loved that we can design the flavor and then choose 3 additional toppings. Definitely a unique experience, the shop is clean, and the ice cream crafters are very helpful & patient.

I'll start by warning you that you're gonna pay over $30.00 for two ice cream cups containing the SMALLEST amount of ingredients you'll ever see! I swear I paid $15.00 for my cup of ice cream and they're so greedy they didn't even use half of a banana! It's a VERY gimmicky ice cream shop and although it looks like a full cup of ice cream it's actually a lot less but since it's ROLLED and place in the cup upright, it looks like a full cup. It's NOT! You're probably getting ONE SCOOP of ice cream. My wife got the Oreo flavor and they literally used ONE Oreo cookie for her $15.00 ice cream! What a SCAM!

We won't even mention the CRAPPY FACES of some of the employees who looked like they were miserable being there! One lady barely moved the entire time we were there and not once did we see her greet any customers.

They only have 3 ice cream flavors, vanilla, chocolate and mint. Pretty poor choices especially charging $15.00 per ice cream! You get to pick 3 toppings for your ice cream, but good luck getting anything to fit in the cup, they were also stingy with toppings.

They're lucky this is a tourist trap location and tourists don't know any better, because otherwise they would be out of business within a year!

$15.00!! And they don't even use half of a banana!
$15.00 and they use only ONE Oreo cookie!!

The dairy free one is not creamy and just disgusting. The customer service was great and we went at a busy time and only had to wait a timely matter. My niece got some fruity flavor with chocolate and I didn't think it would be good but it was great!

As far as Thai rolled ice cream goes, this place is absolutely fine. It's not a novelty to me (there are plenty of places in my hometown that serve up something similar), so maybe I was less impressed with the price, since it's 50% higher than what I pay for in Tampa. However, it's a fun place to go for dessert (the kids love the conveyor belt that brings the ice cream rolls to the topping bar), and I appreciate that it's a family-run business.

Personally, I preferred to walk two doors down to Dulce Nitrogen for boba, which was empty while Curl de la Creme was packed.

Amazing experience and delicious vegan options! It is pricey, but a fun experience! I had vegan chocolate with Oreos and coffee syrup! Yum!
