Lots of really good stuff. Must check this shop out when in the area. Pleasant staff.

Crystal underground is a fun place to walk in and wander. They've got a tons of stones and bracelets in any stone you could want. Lots of fun clothing options and books in the back. I actually really enjoyed their book selection. The service was pretty friendly too.

The only thing I realized was that the prices were extremely high. Even the books, some of them had a sale price on the back then a higher price marked on them. They definitely have some fun and unique finds. It's fun to look but I'm sure I could find a lot of these things for a better price. It's still a nice place to check out though, I'd suggest it if you're doing a day of shopping.

If I could give ZERO stars I would for my "shopping experience" with Crystal Underground. BUYER BEEARE! I purchased a gift card for my niece who goes to school in the area. I wanted to support a local small business. There was no option to give a message for the gift card so I emailed after the order was confirmed. Their website says 1-6 business days to ship and considering that this was a gift card I figured it would be sooner rather than later. Seven (7) days later I still had not received confirmation of shipping so I emailed inquiring about the order. NO RESPONSE. I emailed again two days later. NO RESPONSE. At this point I'm pretty annoyed and then I call them the next day (10 days after I placed the order) and no one answered the phone (I called at 10:30 / they opened at 10am according to their website). I left a message saying that I would like a call back and I wanted my order cancelled or I would go through my credit card company.

To their credit they did refund my credit card which I found out via e-mail. There was never an apology or any follow up. I'm
Thankful I didn't have to go through my credit card company but BUYER BEWARE!! Very disappointed and will never do business with this unprofessional "store".

Coming to Crystal Underground was such an amazing experience I'm upset I forgot the owners name but she was lovely, she instantly gave off such a welcoming Magickal energy along with the shop itself. The crystal selection is amazing and there are so many beautiful pieces of handcrafted jewelry and energy work items to choose from. This is a shop I must visit every time I take a trip to beach from now on

Wonderful gift shop! I bought a small Swarovski crystal to hang in my car; I love it and the prices are pretty reasonable. The owner is really friendly and cool too :)

They also sell handmade jewelry and other little odds & ends so it's a great shop for a unique gift. Most items are under $50.

I can't review the shop because I've never been. I have been buying crystals, and now jewelry, from these lovely people at the Arizona Renaissance Festival for four years. They are the highlight of my time at the Festival, letting me browse their beautiful shop with my hands and my eyes for what seems an hour, at least. I've always come home with a treasure made more meaningful by their kindness. I just moved to DC and am definitely planning a trip to Ellicott City for some earrings to match an incredible freshwater pearl/mother of pearl/lapis/cinnabar Tibetan OM necklace. I can't wait to see the lovely ladies (and son!) on the other side of the country. Namaste, Crystal Underground.

Edit 5/7/16 I visited the shop today and it was great! Bought a necklace and a crystal to add to my collection. I can't wait to go back later this summer.

Great little shop to check out if you are ever in historic Ellicott City. Specializes in Swarovski crystal (much cheaper than the Swarovski store), handmade jewelry and all kinds of other cute little stuff. I'll admit I am friends of the family that own this place (they are great people and have great energy) but they really do have a nice little shop. Pretty liberal with discounts and fun to talk to also. The owner (Elena) makes all of the necklaces and earrings herself and they really are gorgeous and beautifully made. She will also do custom work if something doesn't fit or you see something you would a little different. Definitely a place worth stopping by.

Wonderful, unusual jewelry, much of it designed & made by the mother, daughter, and son who run the shop. The son helped us today and our favorite piece is one he made -- a pendant, but we also bought several lovely necklaces. Great service, great jewelry!

If you're walking down Main Street in search of something sparkly and breath taking to give someone special, this is the place for you! They offer lots of hand made jewelry, rings, bracelets, necklaces, hair accessories, incense, precious gemstones and so much more. They specialize in Swarovski crystal pendants that you hang in the window to reflect beautiful rainbows and light. The hand crafted bead work the crystals hang on is so gorgeous and full of color and intricate patterns of specialty beads. They also offer crystals without bead work, if you're looking for something more simplistic. The crystals come in all different shapes and sizes. My favorite is the sun burst and the traditional ball shape. The owners here are some incredible people. They are exceptionally knowledgeable in Swarovski crystal and lots of different precious gemstones and they make some of the most beautiful jewelry I've ever seen. Every piece is unique and rarely duplicated so it's truly a fantastic place to find a stunning necklace that know one else will have! The location is right at the end of Main Street near the forget me not factory. The prices are pretty good, considering the cost of Swarovski crystal and shipping it from Austria is not cheap. This place is a MUST if you are in the area.
