What pizza toppings do they have?

      A:

Pretty much everything your average pizza place does. Never actually seen anyone get a topping though. Usually just the free plain.

Is this place still open ? My fb friend said he went the other day , but I don't see the hours of business and the phone is disconnected. There have also been articles saying it was sold and closed

Heard about this from a couple friends who used to come here all the time. A free (and fresh!) pizza with the purchase of a very affordable drink? I thought it was too good to be true! My friend and I came here on a Thursday night and were surprised to find that it wasn't packed at all. There was plenty of seating. I had two drinks and, of course, a pizza. After purchasing a drink, you get a ticket that you bring over to the pizza station toward the back of the bar. Lots of toppings ($1-$2 each) available for you to choose from. I had just a plain pizza and asked for more cheese and less tomato sauce. The pizza was ready in 5-10 minutes. It was not bad at all for being free! And it was a great snack to have along with drinks. Definitely a great deal. Remember to tip!

A free personal pie with every drink order, now thats probably one of the best deals you can find in a NYC bar hands down. This cool little spot is a quick walk from Union Square, about 8 minutes.

It is definitely a dive bar, so nothing fancy here, but has some wicked happy hour deals from 3-7pm with $4 drafts, $5 well, $6 beer and shot, and $7 wines. They also have daily and all night specials posted. They have a pizza oven on premises making fresh personal pies constantly, they taste decent and better with toppings which are only $1 each. There is also a small game room in the back if free pizza isnt enough to keep you entertained. They have music playing a very eclectic selection of pop and rock hits, loud enough to vibe to but not too loud that you cant hold a conversation.

The bartender I had was very cool, thanks "Steph." Overall a good spot to work into a sound barhop.

This a no brainer if you want to stretch your dollar bills! The place give you a token for a free pizza (individual sized pizza) for any purchase of liquor. Like what? I got 2 orders of a beer and shot got 2 pizzas to go with it. A sophomoric deal that instantly makes you feel nostalgic of the college town you spent you glorious youth in. It has become my friends and I quiet spot for starting the night.
The place is a bit dark, it's a basement bar but the enthusiastic bartender and diverse patrons lighten it up.

      The 3.5 is pretty solid.

Crocodile Lounge has been in my life since I was under 21. It feels weird that it's always been a semi-consistent part as I've grown older. While not a frequent Friday not stop. It's definitely an option that gets mixed in whenever we are looking for a happy middle ground.

Yup, it's dirty and grimy but pizza! and good pickle shots!

I met my group of friends here during Sunday night trivia. And the bartenders tend to be pretty friendly and eager if you stay long enough.

It's perfect for early weekend drinking or mid-day drinking. On friday it tends to be crowded AF. But it's a good healthy dive bar.

Cheap drinks and free pizza with each drink? I'm there! Well, the pizza isn't really free - they make you tip them, but it's still a good deal. I'm not sure if only certain drinks come with a ticket for a free pizza, but I think we only got it for certain drinks. But we had just come from dinner so it's not like we would have been eating a ton of pizza anyway.

Once you're ready for the pizza, you take the ticket to the back where they actually make it. It's a small pie that's probably equivalent to 1.5 regular slices. It tastes pretty okay.

I don't really hang out in this neighborhood but next time I'm in the area, I wouldnt mind coming back!

I came here with a group of friends after a raucous night of drinking. We came for the shots and free pizza, never a bad combination. We ordered our drinks and placed our order and were chilling in the back.

This place definitely has a dive bar type feel in that it's small, loud, grimey and lovin' it. It's a fun place to end up if not for the pizza, but also the people watching. Additionally, the service is great and the guy making the pizzas ended up giving everyone in our group another free pie.

Very solid place, I don't know if I, personally, would suggest come back because it's not my scene, but if I'm in a crowd and we're in need of a bar in this area, this would be it.

Policy of place is to get a coupon with each drink.
We asked for from the gal bartender. Didn't get.
      Confused cause that's your policy?
Got one coupon, yet we had a total of 4 drinks.

It's ok. Will go elsewhere to a place that upholds its policies. If you can't adhere to that, it makes me wonder what else isn't being adhered to...

Exactly when and where does ramshackle-charming pass into ramshackle-unpleasant? I'm not sure, but the Crocodile Lounge is really walking that fine line. I love me a good dive bar, and this place is dark and spacious, with some cool nooks to sit in. But in some cases they seem heavy on dive aspects I could do without (lack of cleanliness, insufficient amount of air conditioning) and light on some dive aspects we all love (i.e., cheap drinks and good beer).

We were here recently on a Wednesday trivia night (incredibly clever, fun, lively trivia, a definite plus). The bartenders were friendly and adroitly handled the crowds, but as indicated above, it was crowded and uncomfortably hot. You get a ticket for free pizza in the back with every drink order. It's about as acceptable as you would expect free pizza to be.

I'm not sure I'm running back here, but I would certainly return if the occasion arose. Or if I were in the area and in the mood to sweat through some smart trivia over some mediocre free pizza (hmm, you know...there are worse ways to spend your day).
