Crazy About Cupcakes

Not only is this a locally-owned business with tasty cupcakes, but they also have little mini-tubs of fun-flavored frostings! So tasty! These aren't the average cupcakes. They are a fun flavor, good prices, and did I mention the frosting?

Also, they will host a cupcake party if you wanna go that route. That sounds pretty fun, no?

It's in a great location surrounded by other fun shops. Stop in, get a cupcake, and be happy.

Their website is a Facebook page, which Yelp won't let me include in the website address section (come on, Yelp--more and more businesses are using Facebook pages as their websites!) So, search on Facebook for "Crazy About Cupcakes" and you'll find it.

So happy I drove by this place while cruising through downtown Mitchell - just a hop, skip, & jump from the Corn Palace.

Grabbed 2 cupcakes - red velvet and chocolate. Loved the cupcake, frosting was a little too sweet for my liking. Cake was soft and moist and very flavorful. Normal sized ~ $2 each.

The shop was bright and fun. Great experience, glad I stopped by.

You just walk in here and the smell of sugar fills your nose and I just love it. I think the kids would just go crazy here with all the sugar and I do not blame them. They have unique and a variety of cupcake flavors at this shop. They also sell cotton candy and boba in all different flavors. I am not a super sweet person so I got their mini birthday cupcake and I loved it. I couldn't eat all the frosting due to sugar overload but I loved how moist and flavorful it was. This location is also on Main Street so you can grab a cupcake and explore the boutiques along Main Street.

Always very good cupcakes and helpful service as well. Great choices to pick from and have some usuals that are always a hit!

This place is amazing! The cupcakes are to die for!! Being a native here in Mitchell I love the fact I get to eat these anytime I want ....

We stopped by for a little sugar break while passing through.

I loved the options for mini cupcakes and regular cupcakes. It was fun to be able to get a variety of flavors and try different ones.

Staff were wonderful and friendly.

Some of the cupcakes I didn't like at all and the chocolate frosting tasted like it was from a store bought can. I'm not sure if they make it fresh and it was just old, but it did not taste very good. My favorite cupcake was the peanut butter one. It was rich with peanut butter and had good flavor.

I enjoyed some, but not others. It's a good place to stop if you want a sweet treat, but I wouldn't go out of my to go.

What a great little place! Cupcakes and ice cream and lots of other treats. A great location. Try the adorable 'cheeseburger' cupcakes or the lemon coconut. They have great cold brew too! Definitely worth the stop. It's a really cute place!

The maple bacon cupcakes were to die for, small pieces of bacon are in the cupcake that isn't too sweet and compliments the maple frosting nicely!

The cupcakes here have great flavors and aren't dependent on the frosting for great taste. We had the chocolate chocolate, strawberry rhubarb, coffee and peanut butter, all were delicious!

The shop is beautifully decorated and the owner is lovely!

Stopped at the corn palace and went for a walk. My wife found the parfait in the cooler. We had the chocolate and the had the strawberry. So amazing we were saying amazing things after each bite. Also bought a treat for our dog. He will be so happy

Very pretty cupcakes and great service. Very good .... surprisingly not too sweet very moist. Would recommend!!

This place is great! I got two cupcakes and some chocolate covered pretzels and they were to die for! I might have to make another 3 1/2 hour trip just for this place!
