Countryside Disposal

Haven't had any problems with them always on time to pick up my trash. They never leave behind a mess and the price of trash pick up is not bad.

Surprised to see only 2 one star reviews, I just noticed when I got online to look up their number. I needed to call them to extend our yard waste pick up for the season. I have done this a few other times as well and have always been treated courteously on the phone. We have used countryside disposal since 2008 and they have never failed to pick up our trash up early every Thursday morning. The only exception is holidays and it's picked up then on Friday morning, again no fails. I do not hesitate to recommend them!

A great service. The crews make sure nothing is left behind. Very professional. The office staff are very supportive and great to work with. I highly recommend this company.

Worst service ever. Office staff lazy & unresponsive. Called for additional items to be picked up and they never communicated to driver. Items were left at curb. When inquiring, they indicated they needed an itemized list of additional trash. What????? This is not rocket science we are talking about!

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I recently signed up with Countryside about 3 weeks ago. I was hesitant to sign up based on the terrible reviews but I went against my better judgement. I decided that I'll give this business the benefit of the doubt. What a mistake that was.

The first week they took my trash - great! The 2nd week, I watched the truck from my living room pick up every other bin except mine. I called in stating that they missed my trash and could they reschedule to have it picked up asap. The woman on the phone said that she would "look into the reason they missed it " and that she would call me back. About 4 hours go by and I grow impatient. I call back and she says she tried calling the drivers cell phone but he wouldn't answer. She told me that by the end of the day that she would call me back with an answer. Guess what? I never heard back from her. That was on a weekend so I had to wait until Monday to follow up.

I call back on Monday and I decide I am just going to cancel. I didn't like that so early on their services were disappointing me. I told the woman that I wanted to cancel and she asked why. When I told her it was because they missed my trash and that no one ever got back to me, she said that was not a valid reason to cancel. She also told me that there were no notes in their system that I ever called to complain. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I was pretty sure that the same lady I spoke to last week was the same lady I was speaking to this time around. I then asked her why it wasn't valid and she told me to take that up with her office manager. I also told her I wanted a credit and she told me she didn't handle that. This woman was as rude as they come. If you're answering a phone and representing a company, learn how to treat a customer. I was nothing but respectful to her despite the situation.

I just can't quite understand how this business operates with people like her answering the phones. Do yourself a favor and go with Republic or another service - this one just isn't worth it. I am reporting this company to the BBB.
