I remember that it had the soda water, ginger syrup and espresso shot. You either love it or hate it, I hated it and my friend liked it..

As I stepped inside, I was greeted by a sense of tranquility that felt like a breath of fresh air amidst the chaos of the city. Surprisingly, despite its prime location, The Coffee Project managed to maintain a sense of calm that was sorely lacking in the nearby caffeine-fueled hotspots. Perhaps it's the slightly off-the-beaten-path location that keeps the chaos at bay, but whatever the reason, I found myself instantly drawn to the cozy ambience and inviting atmosphere.

Of course, no visit to The Coffee Project would be complete without sampling their signature beverages. I opted for the Matcha Latte, and let me tell you, it was just what the doctor ordered--creamy, frothy, and perfectly balanced, it hit the spot in all the right ways.

But it wasn't just the drinks that left me impressed--it was the impeccable service, too. From the friendly smiles to the quick and helpful assistance, the staff at The Coffee Project went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was nothing short of delightful.

Sure, it may be a small space, but don't let that fool you. The Coffee Project is the perfect spot to cozy up with a good book or catch up with friends over a steaming cup of joe. So next time you find yourself in need of a little respite from the chaos of city life, look no further than The Coffee Project in the East Village. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

The staff is so friendly and you can really tell by the way they interact with the regulars. I love that you can get drinks and food to stay in real silverware because it just feels less wasteful and tastes better than a to go cup in my opinion!

I definitely want to come back and try some of their unique drinks like the London Fog.

I popped in for a to-go latte, and loved the experience!

The coffee was super high quality and the staff were very friendly. Loved sitting outside briefly in the sun and enjoyed how quiet the street was! I will happily come back again.

Only thing to note is that they don't have a ton of seating or space indoors. :)

I had one of the best espresso shots I ever had here. Everyone is super nice, I loved the pour over as well. Everyone was professional and nice here during my visit. THe place has good vibes and will most certainly be back in the future.

Stopped by this place looking to try a new coffee spot and was not disappointed. I got the kickass London fog and it was a really good cup of coffee. I love earl grey tea and this latte was a nice twist. Definitely would recommend to someone who loves tea and coffee.

The service was great too. Everyone was friendly and we got our drinks quickly. The space was pretty small. Not somewhere I would sit for a while, but it was good for a quick sit down while I drank my coffee.

I would definitely recommend this place for a quick stop. I ordered a hot chocolate and thought it was pretty good and the design on top was cute. I wish it was a little hotter because it came just warm so I had to drink it kinda fast. But the taste was definitely there.

The place itself is really nice. The staff is kind and informed my fiancée about the drink he was about to get before ordering it because it was different. He was able to make a decision that better suited what he wanted which was nice. There's a decent amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Most people order to go so we had no problem getting a seat. It was also clean and the music was nice.

Cute coffeeshop in EV! Yummy drinks and pastries. Nothing too special but it's still a solid coffeeshop!

      Limited seating, good friendly service!

Coffee Project in the East Village is a sustainably-centered coffee shop that aims to "improve the quality of life for every person in the coffee supply chain, from producers to consumers" and offers a deconstructed latte flights for a unique tasting experience. We ordered a deconstructed latte with oat milk with featured a shot of espresso, steamed oat milk and an oat milk latte along with seltzer water as a palette cleanser and waffle cookie as a treat. We enjoyed getting to taste the different notes in the espresso alone and with milk. We also had the Yuzu Jolt, a yuzu lemonade drink with cold brew which was refreshing and summery. For food we had the rhubarb scone and avocado croissant with feta, tomato and black sesame. Coffee Project is proof you can serve great coffee while still doing right by the coffee making community and customers

Tiny coffee shop w just. Few places to sit but there is covered seating outside of it isn't too cold. We popped in on a rainy day so we were really thankful to have nabbed and indoor seat to warm up and get comfy for a bit.

The menu offer a good mix of things. Despite being cold, I still needed to try the Yuzu espresso tonic since they're my fav -- one of the best I've had. So good.

It's priced slightly higher than normal but they're friendly here and brought drinks out to us when they were ready. Weirdly, they did list a whole bunch of rules tho. No laptops and a few others?? I can't remember now. Seems like putting a time limit when seating is full would ensure seating availability without banning certain devices? Still like it but so strange. No restroom so don't drink too much unless u know what your next stop is.

The coffee is to die for. Possibly the BEST coffee I've ever had. I tried their seasonal - Black sesame coffee in Oat milk and my New Yorker friend ordered his regular Kickass London Fog. It was very smooth and creamy and earl grey tea in it added slight citrus hint. Very unique. I couldn't decide which coffee I liked the most. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. The cafe is small but has a cute and cozy vibe. There's some seating but it's not a particularly roomy establishment.
Upon checking more, I learned that they have 2 more locations in Manhattan. I can't wait to visit again. Direct yourself there now!!!!
